N. (Nico) (10/5): Een kort maar heerlijk verblijf in een goed hotel op een prachtige locatie. - Puntsgewijze: - De locatie aan de Moezel. Vanuit de ontbijtzaal hadden we uitzicht op deze rivier en de met wijngaarden bedekte oevers. - Het schilderachtige dorpje. - De wandelmogelijkheden langs de Moezel. - De goede, ruime kamer. - De prettige bediening bij het ontbijt. - Het heerlijke ontbijt, waarbij we konden kiezen uit op diverse manieren klaargemaakte eieren. - Het contactloze inchecken, omdat we door de grote drukte in het verkeer onderweg te laat aankwamen. We hadden geen punten die ons tegenvielen. In tegendeel. Het is ons zo goed bevallen, dat we nog een keer enkele dagen naar dit hotel willen gaan. Dit hotel heeft trouwens ook vakantieappartementen,

Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel and host - We had a lovely stay at Hotel Kachelberg. It was well run and comfortable. Our room was extremely well presented, very clean and with everything we could have wished for, including a small fridge. The food at breakfast was delicious and with a really good choice. There is an outside area with tables and chairs and we enjoyed a pleasant hour or two later one evening with fellow quests. We would definitely return to the hotel. As a bonus there was a lovely restaurant not more than 20 meters away.

The television didn’t have an English speaking news channel like BBC, CNN International, or DW.. Would have been nice to have kept up with what was happening in the rest of the world!
Torben Palle (8/5): Fint lille privatejet hotel. - Hotellet er hyggeligt og ligger lige ved Mosel-floden. Ejeren var meget venlig og stillede straks garage til rådighed for vores motorcykler. Værelset og badeværelse var fine uden at være prangende (hvilket vi heller ikke forventede). Morgenmaden var også helt i orden. Byen er måske ikke så spændende, men der er jo mange skønne steder i omegnen.

There was a fan in the room to help with the heat, it was most welcome. Great location, facilities and cleanliness. Excellent all round.
Verified traveler (8/5): Beautiful hotel but unfriendly service - Pretty looking hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. Hotel was clean and parking was easily available. No lift in the hotel. There was no shampoo in the room. There was no coffee, tea, water cooker (for boiling water) in the room. So, you cannot make your own coffee/tea in the room. You need to go to the breakfast area (during opening times only) to get hot water/coffee/tea for an extra charge (not free). Staff was not at all friendly. I was given rude looks for any questions asked.

Fedor (10/5): - Wir waren in Koblenz unterwegs und haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht.Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Abend hatten wir eine Pizzeria in der Nähe nach Empfelung des Hotels besucht. Am nächsten Morgen hatten wir ein leckeres Frühstück im Hotel! Das Hotel ist in einem guten Zustand, sehr sauber und gepflegt! Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer mit Blick auf den Innenhof! Es war sauber und ruhig, hatte dementsprechend drei Betten, zwei Sessel und einen Tisch mit einem Stuhl. Außerdem hatten wir einen großen Schrank mit ausreichend Kleiderbügeln, ein sauberes Bad mit Dusche und frischen Handtüchern. TV und ein Telefon waren natürlich auch vorhanden! Fazit: sehr gutes Hotel direkt am Moselufer!

peter (10/5): - Great location just above the Mosel River in the midst of Mosel wine country, Vineyards all around climbing the near vertical hillsides of the surrounding mountains, German and Euro clientele, very little English spoken. Excellent copious German breakfast. Car ride to find restaurants. Great value and perfect for anyone looking for a German experience that is not a chain hotel.
Heike (6/5): - Leider wurden wir nicht so freundlich begrüßt. Da ich nach der Fahrt gerne auf die Toilette gegangen wäre, kamen wir etwas verfrüht im Hotel an. Zum Einchecken wollten wir auch nach 15 Uhr wiederkommen. Nach meiner Frage nach der Toilette bekam ich die unfreundliche Antwort, es wird gerade geputzt und das ginge nicht. Wir müßten nach 15 Uhr wiederkommen. Ich hätte gerne einige Zeit gewartet, aber das wurde schon abgewährt. Der Kontakt war über die Tage nie sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war schön und groß. Das Bad war auch ok, nur auf der Ablage rutschte alles runter, daher fehlten Abstellmöglichkeiten. Aber in Zimmer und Bad war alles sehr sauber!

Björn (10/5): Trevligt hotell - Trevligt litet hotell en liten bit söder om Koblenz. Dieblich är kanske inte så mycket att hänga i granen men det är ett bra ställe att bo på för att ta dagsturer längs mosel.

Ralph (10/5): Schöne Tage an der Mosel im Hotel Kachelburg - Mit Blick auf die Mosel hatten wir schöne Tage im Hotel Kachelburg. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, das Frühstück sehr lecker und die Hotelküche haben wir abends genossen. Insgesamt möchten wir den Gastgebern ein Lob für gemütliches Hotel aussprechen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Matrosen (10/5): Kleines nettes ruhiges Hotel - Direkt an den Moselwiesen gelegen blickt man direkt auf die Mosel, den dahinterliegenden Berg mit Terrassenweingärten und auf zwei Burgen, romantisch und schön Die dazwischen liegende Straße stört nicht, da die Fenster gut isoliert sind. Die Sauberkeit von Zimmer und Bad sind hervorragend, im Bad befinden gibt genügend Ablageflächen, Haken und Stangen für Handtücher. Das Doppelbett ist gut und nicht hart, Decken und Kissen ausreichend, es war gemütlich warm im Zimmer. Schrank, Kommode reichen für Kleidung für mehr als einen Kurztrip. Nachttische sind ebenfalls groß mit genügend Ablagefläche. Schreibfläche und ein Stuhl sind vorhanden. WLAN funktionierte tadellos. Moderne Fernseher mit LED-Bildschirm ist installiert. Insgesamt ist alles tadellos und anheimelnd gemütlich, wenn auch nicht ganz und gar neu; ganz wie zu Hause. Es ist ruhig, da das Haus nicht zu viele Gäste beherbergen kann. Besonders gefallen hat uns deshalb die ruhige erholsame Atmosphäre beim Frühstück und Abendessen. Das Frühstückbuffet ist mit frischen schmackhaften Zutaten für unsere Bedürfnisse reichlich bestückt. Wünsche werden umgehend erfüllt. Für zwischendurch gibt es im Flur einen Getränkekühlschrank und eine kleine Pad-Kaffeemaschine, man kann sich jederzeit bedienen. Ein feines kleines Hotel genügend Komfort und familiärer Atmosphäre, wenn man tagsüber etwas unternehmen will und wie wir, keinen SPA-Bereich wünscht, zudem ist es preiswert. Wir sind sehr zufrieden!

Staff are great and the view from the patio is wonderful! Bonus points. The roads around the area are fantastic on the motorbike!
