• Declan (6/5): Decent value hostel in Central Dublin - Cheapest value hostel in Central Dublin (20min walk to O'Connell Street. Comfy single bed in 4 person room. Not a lot of cutlery/plates available in a very small kitchen. No lock on bedroom door. No signage outside to indicate where hostel entrance was.
• Danny (6/5): Cheapest hostel in Dublin. You get what you pay for - Facilities were clean and some areas looked quite new. This was a weird hostel to stay. It was already suspicious that it was difficult to find.. there was no sign on the entrance. No one at reception until 3 pn. Took me a while to check in as there was a long line of ppl waiting to do the check in. Staff was … well staff was just there. Regulations were very stiff with fines for everything. The atmosphere was strange with a mix of tourists and what it seemed like a lot of homeless or asylum seekers. There were only 4 lockers on a 6 bed room.

• Alice Pickersgill (8/5): Great value for money if you just want somewhere to sleep - I literally paid less that £20 for this hostel and I can’t really say anything bad about it for the price! The rooms were comfy, the staff were friendly, check-in was easy! There was a bit of a queue for the toilets in the morning and the main toilets were being cleaned so that was a bit inconvenient, but honestly how can you complain for the price.

• Kimberley (9/5): - Hostel door and room key on a phone app. Free coffee and tea in the lobby (could have used a working fridge for milk!). Easy to walk to most tourist sites. I couldn't sit up in my lower bunk bed. Lockers are too narrow for a backpack. Needs hooks on walks to hang wet jackets. A couple of chairs (even folding ones) would be nice to put shoes on or read for a bit. Separate lights by the bed for reading would also be nice.

• Liviu (7/5): - Good location close to Jameson Distillery. Very easy to use the app for doors. Nice personal. The room from the street side is very noisy, only 2 lockers for 4 beds. I changed it with one other, much better.
• Helen (5/5): - Room was of adequate size, bed was very comfy, and lounge area was nice. Location great as well, everything we wanted to visit was in walking distance. Showers were gross - soap rack had so much chewed gum on it, floor had chewed gum on it. no floor drain outside of the shower meant that the floor was wet, nasty, and covered in hair. Only one hook for your stuff, no shelf or anything for room key etc. Also, bathroom situation was awkward as there was no way to tell if they were occupied or not without trying the handle due to self-closing doors, bathrooms were quite dirty every time I used them except once. A mirror outside of the 2 bathrooms for like 20 people would've been quite useful. Didn't realize kitchen was an extra, and also there was no one at reception at breakfast time for me to get kitchen access.

Jeden Tag wurden die Waschräume gesäubert und die WCs mehrfach geprüft. - warten an der Rezeption zwischen 5-10min ohne Information als Schild für den Gast, dass man gleich wieder da ist. - das Personal hat ganz normale Tageskleidung an, so weiß man gar nicht, wer zum Personal gehört oder Gast ist. - der Feueralarm muss geprüft werden, dieser ging am Montag 1x und am Dienstag gleich 5x los. - Der Wasserlauf bei allen Waschbecken ist schlecht. Normalerweise drückt man auf den Knopf zum Wasserlauf und das Wasser läuft 10-15 sek. Das hat gar nicht funktioniert. Drückt man den Knopf und lässt diesen los, ist das Wasser direkt weg. Die Hände zu waschen ist damit nicht erfreulich gewesen. - es gab keine Information vom Personal, dass es eine Küchte gibt, wo man warmes Essen für sich machen kann. Oder was man eventuell beachten muss. Das musste man selbst herausbekommen. - 5,20 € für Lagern des Gepäcks, wenn man das Gepäck noch im Hostel parken will, bevor es zum Flughafen geht. Als ehem. Gast der dort war, sollte soetwas kostenlos sein. Als ich um 10 Uhr im Hostel war zum abgeben des Gepäcks, weil Check-In 15 Uhr ist, habe ich 0,00 € bezahlt.

• Carolina (6/5): Si es para poco tiempo bien, sino mejor ve a otro lugar, bastante decepcionante - Estaba bastante bien las camas, eran cómodas Pues habíamos pedido un alojamiento con 4 camas y nos dieron una habitación con 5 donde nosotros éramos 3 y nos pusieron con 2 chicas desconocidas. El baño estaba encharcado, el check in, hasta las 3 no hay nadie en recepción, entonces si quieres dejar las maletas o algo, no hay manera. Por último sale que está cerca pero está a 15 min andando a lo más cerca que haya en el centro
• Darryn (7/5): Fine - My room was actually totally fine. Was facing the back so it was quiet. Bed was clean and tidy, so was room. Shower and toilet area was fine and clean. Downstairs was a large area to charge phone etc. As with all big city hostels you probably have a few local/regulars staying but wasn’t a problem.

• Lucia Ilarramendi (5/5): Wannabe hostel - The receptionist, was super helpful and nice. He made the stay easier for us with all the help he offered. The walk to the center takes about 15/20 min so it's not so "long". The hostel was overall lacking in many senses. The kitchen was a true mess, there weren't any clean utensils for us to use, they had three fridges but all of them were completely full and it was quite complicated to put anything else inside. There were not enough bathrooms or showers for the floor and often we had to wait for them, most of the time they were quite dirty, trash cans overloaded and no toilet paper. The showers needed an extra hanger or stool to keep the stuff dry. Finally in the bed I would have appreciated a personal light and a small shelf to keep the personal things. Also the "hostel" seemed more like a residence, the permanent guest would create a very closed atmosphere taking over the amenities.

• Stephanie (2/5): Schrecklich. - Die Lage war gut, das ist auch schon das einzig positive an dem Hostel. Hatten ein Zimmer mit 4-Betten gebucht und eines mit 6-Betten bekommen. Der Rezeptionist war mit der Zimmerverteilung überfordert und so konnte vor Ort keine Regelung gefunden werden. Eine Erstattung erfolgte bislang nicht. In den WC‘s war fast nie Klopapier verfügbar, die Küche war super eklig und auch das Wlan funktionierte die ganzen knapp 3 Tage des Aufenthaltes nicht.

Top Je n'ai pas eu d'eau chaude deux jours de suite au dernier étage. Mais finalement je suis descendu à l'étage du dessous et il y en avait.

J'aurais apprécié savoir que le dortoir femmes uniquement était juste à côté de chambres mixtes et qu'on devait partager toilettes et douches le soir. Plus de propreté dans les douches aurait été super aussi, au moins avoir de quoi poser ses vêtements au-dessus du sol sale.

• Tina (6/5): Good value, basic dorm on Quays, convenient to Euston Station, Collins Barracks and Kilmainham - While a 15-20 min walk from o'Connell Street, the hostel is by the river Liffey on Arran Quay, so easy to locate. The staff present were helpful ( incl Antonio), yet the Reception desk was unmanned the morning I wanted to use the luggage room ! There is a lift to the upper floors, and while there was good space within the 6-bed dorm, there is very limited head-space for those on lower bunks, as the top bunk sits low. This made it a tough task to relax; there is no room to sit on the bunk ( to read, write or type) without risk of banging one's head, AND.. there are NO CHAIRS, or other seating, available. The room was clean, and the bed-linen was of cheerful and soft fabric. - The Reception desk was sometimes unmanned, Including when I needed to access the Luggage Room to deposit a bag. As a result, I had to leave a bag with other traveller in their room. - The dorm was clean and offered adequate floor space, BUT there's insufficient space between the bottom bunk and the top bed to allow the person below to sit up in bed without hitting head. This meant one couldn't get comfortable if not lying down -There's NO CHAIRS available in dorm, or any desk/table where a guest might write or work on laptop. -There are a number of bars on the streets behind the hostel which my dorm overlooked; As a result, all in my dorm were kept awake til the early hours by loud swearing and arguing from those down on the street who'd had too much to drink! -My dorm did not have an en suite, and while there's facilities down the hall, this comprised of 2 toilets ONLY between several dorms,meaning long queues to clean teeth or to adjust make-up ( there's NO MIRROR in the bedroom itself).
• Viktoriia (7/5): - Зручне розташування, поряд транспорт, привітний менеджер на рецепції, поселив у кімнату, де були одномісні ліжка замість двоярусних. В моїй кімнаті було в цілому тихо, ніяких звуків з вулиці, це дуже важливо для відпочинку. Є можливість приготувати собі їсти. Не те, щоб не сподобалось, просто констатація факту - більше схоже на гуртожиток для працюючих людей. Було б добре добавити хоч трішки зручностей - елементарні полички, чи місця для особистих речей. Мені трохи було не по собі, що єдине невелике вікно розташоване високо в стелі у вузенькій кімнаті, відчуття неначе в ямі. Але була можливість його відчинити, щоб впустити свіже повітря, то вже добре.

• Hannah (6/5): Did not get the room I booked but it worked out, this time. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, within walking distance of many key sights and a few good food options nearby. The staff I met were helpful and friendly. I booked a four bed dorm with single beds but was assigned a bunk bed dorm. The staff member didn't know of any dorm bookings in the single bed rooms and said they were normally just private bookings. So be aware if you need / want a single bed for comfort/access reasons this is not guaranteed. They did find me a single bed in a twin room - shared the first night, to myself the second. However, it could have not worked out that way if they were full. Although generally clean, the bathroom got wet/soapy on the floor around the sink and the shower was mouldy. Only a small number of facilities for such a big hostel. No signage outside at all, just a tiny doorbell with 39 QH by it.

The common space is okay actually (satisfactory) The holes in the wall, the smelly bathrooms, the shower which only one of us used because it was completely disgusting. The cards that didn't work. Just the general unclenilness was the primary issue, and also the fact that we booked for a group of 4 but they split us up.

• Deveaux (7/5): Établissement correct - J’ai passé une nuit dans cette auberge, dans un dortoir pour femmes. C’était très correct, j’ai passé une nuit calme. Les toilettes sont à l’extérieur, mais sont propres. Le lit et la chambre aussi, rien à redire dessus. Aucun soucis pour trouver l’établissement. Il n’y a effectivement aucun panneau, mais avec les indications reçus dans le mail et Google maps c’était très bien. J’avais quelques apréhentions au vue des commentaires par rapport à la fréquentation de l’établissement. J’ai effectivement vu des personnes certainement sous influence de certaine substance dans l’espace commun de la reception, mais ni dans les couloirs, ni dans les chambres. Pour le prix que j’ai payé, je trouve que c’est tout de mêmr bien rentable.

• Odisej (2/5): - I have been bitten by bed bugs in that hostel. Please, advise the hostel reception immediately so they can act quickly and efficiently. Hostel bed madras were full of bed bugs that I didn't know about till later. I suffered itchiness in several places of my body (neck, right hand and right leg). I regret staying over there. Never again.
