• Aurore (10/5): Ressourçant :) - Le petit déjeuner est fantastique. La propriétaire du lieu est adorable, nous avons adoré la tranquillité du lieu. Musique douce toute la journée, cascade dans la piscine. Hygiène irréprochable. Un vrai régal! Si on veut être pointilleux, je dirai d'arranger la douche extérieure à laquelle il manquait quelques carreaux, ainsi que le balais de piscine à ranger dans un abris plutôt que dehors. En tout cas, cela ne change rien à la gentillesse des personnes et au confort du lieu :)

• Adrian (8/5): A very comfortable, friendly and well organised setting offering the perfect place to unwind. - Melissa was very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful at organising trips. The cleaning and cooking staff were fantastic, food was lovely and rooms were cleaned every day. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Use of bikes was a great bonus. Location near restaurants and the national park was perfect. Cafe next door great for coffee and lunch. Pool was lovely. It all added up to a very relaxing stay. In an ideal world there would be a bigger garden area, though the nature nearby was lovely. There is development work happening to create a terrace area. Seating for breakfast could be expanded with some more cushions.

• Claire (10/5): Quiet, calm, and beauty in a beach town within walking distance to anything you need. - This place is amazing . The owners put so much care and love into it and it shows! The breakfasts are delicious and filling, the atmosphere is calming, and it is simply beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. My only suggestion would be to find ways to provide more hanging place for wet suits and clothes. I got caught in the rain a few times and had a tough time drying things.
• Miguel (2/5): schwarz abgeklebte und verdunkelte Fenster ohne Tageslicht im Zimmer waren nichts für uns - Alle Fenster des Zimmers waren komplett schwarz abgeklebt, so dass kein Tageslicht ins Zimmer fiel. Daher haben wir hier nicht übernachtet und uns ein anderes Hotel gesucht, obwohl wir fest reserviert hatten.

Frühstück kann man aus 5 Optionen aussuchen, dazu gibt es immer Früchte und Müesli. Schönes Pool mit Liegen und Pooltüchern. Fahrrad zur Gratisnutzung. Kann nichts bemängeln.

Vi vill gärna åka hit igen ❤️ - Ett lugnt och vackert boende med gångavstånd till stranden, restauranger och nationalparken Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. Ägarna till Arborada, Javier tillsammans med familjen bl.a. Majta, Melissa & Moisés, var dagligen där och tog väl hand om oss. Vi vill gärna hälsa på dem igen ❤️
• Carmen (9/5): Great location and well-maintained boutique hotel - Aborada Boutique Stay was a pleasant surprise. One of its main highlights is the location: it is very close to the entrances of Marino Ballena National Park, about a 10-minute walk away. There is also a small grocery store next door, as well as restaurants and tour agencies nearby, which makes it easy to get around without a car. The facilities are another strong point. The hotel is in excellent condition, with well-maintained paint and furniture. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom includes toiletries. There is also a pool, sun loungers, and bicycles available for guests. I was expecting a more budget-style hotel, but it is actually very charming and pleasant. The only downside was that I had to leave before breakfast time, and the hotel did not offer any alternative to accommodate this need. As a result, I only managed to have breakfast about three hours later, at the shared shuttle stop on the way to my next destination.

The igloos are really clean and beautiful, and both the bed and sofa were extremely comfortable. I had to try the pool, which was lovely, and I really enjoyed the breakfast choices in the morning. The location is very convenient and close to Marino Ballena National Park, and there’s also a small shop next door, which is super handy. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Pura Vida 🌿 Nothing
• Yasmina (9/5): Würden wir für einen Aufenthalt in Uvita empfehlen. - Die Gastgeberin und die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Häuschen gepflegt und sauber mit grosser Dusche und praktischen Ablagen neben den Betten. Insgesamt ist alles reibungslos abgelaufen. Das Frühstück war lecker aber hätte etwas mehr sein dürfen. Die Portion war eher klein.

Es fehlte mir persönlich eine kleine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Vielleicht auf dem Kühlschrank. Es gibt zum Frühstück haufenweise Kaffee. Ist bestimmt nur für Frühaufsteher interessant.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable, and I loved having a fresh breakfast each day with options to choose from. While the location is excellent for the beach and nearby national park, it’s worth noting that you’ll need transport to reach other restaurants and attractions. Just something to be aware of when planning your stay.

Morgenmadsudvalget var godt og adskilte sig meget fra de andre steder, vi havde været. Man kunne se, at hotellet havde taget sig af de få anmærkninger, andre var kommet med. Intet!

• Marina (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt zum Wohlfühlen - Auf meiner Reise habe ich hier am besten geschlafen. Es ist ruhig, sauber und die Betten sind groß und bequem. Die Klimaanlage ist nicht direkt am Bett, wie leider so oft in Hotels, so dass man sie ohne Probleme auch nachts gut laufen lassen kann, auch wenn man etwas empfindlich ist, was das betrifft. Das Frühstück ist lecker und man hat eine gute Auswahl. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und trägt zum Entspannen bei. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch gut. Man kommt überall schnell hin und das italienische Restaurant um die Ecke ist phänomenal. Nada

Good breakfast served in the morning. The only thing missing for me was some way to make hot water for tea at.night. Breakfast was very good, but serving it half an hour earlier might be nice for us earlybirds.

• Karen (9/5): A relaxing stay, in spa-like surroundings! Thoroughly enjoyed Alborada. - Location was great, less than 10 minute walk to the beach and several good restaurants nearby. Our room was very spacious and modern, a comfortable king bed, and included all the amenities of a boutique stay! A full breakfast, with several options, was included. The staff and host were very gracious and welcoming. Natural light was limited, not a big deal since we spent very little time in our room during the daytime.

L'hôtel est propre, très peux de chambre ce qui en fait un coin tranquille. Manque de lumière naturelle dans la chambre car les vitres sont caché par un film plastique noir ( mais ça évite le vis à vis )

• Christoph (9/5): Tolles Hotel für einen entspannten Aufenthalt - Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich toll und nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und komfortabel, und der Pool lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber, der sich jederzeit um alles gekümmert hat. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!
• Haley (9/5): Cute place, good staff, good location, felt safe - I thought the location was good. There’s a restaurant, souvenir shop, mini market, and excursion business within walking distance. The grounds were really nice. The pool was beautiful, there’s extra seating up top of the kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great. The food was pretty good. You get 5 options for breakfast and they cook it once you join the table for breakfast and it comes out nice and hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Somehow I missed in the photos and descriptions there are no windows in the pod we stayed in. They had windows and blacked them out. One small window in the bathroom didn’t do much. I always like a view and this place doesn’t have it unless you keep your door open.
• Nora (10/5): Beautiful peppery and wonderful hosts! - The property was exceptionally designed. Beautiful interiors, comfortable beds, tvs, fridge, AC, great showers - what more can you ask for? The property also has a great pool and lounge area, good breakfast options. The property owners were so nice and helpful with booking local excursions. They had a booklet with activities in the area and restaurant recommendations. And there are some great outdoor seating areas including a terrace. It’s a little further from the beach than I realized but honestly not a bad walk if the weather is decent.

• Sophia Diamandy (10/5): A Great Honeymoon Hideaway in Uvita - We stayed at Alborada Boutique Stay in Uvita for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The property is truly unique; about seven private rooms, each designed like its own modern “igloo,” offering total privacy and a cozy, romantic feel. The pool in the center ties everything together beautifully, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful vibes. Miguel, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and made sure every detail was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — stylish, tranquil, and unforgettable. Highly recommended for couples looking for something special!

• Luis (10/5): Vayan y disfruten de este lugar! - La ubicación es estratégica ya que es fácil llegar al hotel y de ahí desplazarse hacia otros lugares. Está cerca de las 2 entradas al Parque Nacional Marino Ballena y tiene un pequeño negocio llamado mini-market al lado, en el cual puede uno encontrar prácticamente de todo (cervezas, refrescos, snacks y mucho más). Las habitaciones tienen una pequeña nevera ideal para enfriar y guardar alimentos. El desayuno es muy bueno y es preparado en el momento. El área de descando y la piscina son agradables y tiene una terraza desde la cual se pueden contemplar los atardeceres. La zona de parqueo es amplia y segura.

The rooms were sporless, clean towels every day, extra towel for swimming-pool and most important, they emptied the bin every day. If you are looking for a hotel where you are not just another guest, but truly seen and appreciated – then Alborada Boutique Stay is the place to be. Thank you so much for a memorable stay. While the breakfast was pleasant, expanding the variety would add even more value to guests – a wider selection would make the experience even better – perhaps with more fresh fruit, bread or local specialties. The guest areas for relaxing and dining were very well laid out and well designed. I do recommend a small desk and chair (folding?) for travellers who need computer time during their stay.

• Peter (10/5): Excellent place to stay near the beach - Lovely boutique hotel. Pods are spacious with seating area inside fab shower large comfortable bed. Good air con. Staff were friendly and helpful. So good we stayed an extra night Pods are permanent solid structures so like a small house

The hotel is quiet, relaxing, aesthetically pleasing, awesome location as it is very close to the National Park, the staff incredibly professional, friendly and always there for us. Definitely recommend this place.
