• Jane (8/5): Carefully v well laid out, shame tantalisingly couldnt actually see the river - Very thoughtfully considered - In terms of decor ,layout and contents- nice white colours / v Kelly Hoppen . Backs right onto the river ——-BUT as not seen see what disappointed me— Its in a lovely location with the main house and its garden tantalisingly backing onto beautiful riverside - BUT you cant see any of it or reach it from the apartment - the ‘ patio’ that came with the apartment was the front access lawn beside the drive in (but nice flowers)so looks out onto the street and garage doors of the 2 houses opposite. You can of course walk down the road to access the river front but i was assuming id be able to see it- maybe i should have researched this more.

• Trevor (9/5): A very relaxing and enjoyable stay! - The accommodation is lovely. It is exceptionally clean and in a very peaceful location. The host was so accommodating and offered lots of suggestions regarding places to eat and shop etc which was very helpful. Would highly recommend! Nothing.

• Teejaldo7 (8/5): Overall pleasant but some privacy concerns to consider - I wanted to share some positive feedback about the Harrington property. It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, and the renovations were done to a high standard, making the space both modern and comfortable. Additionally, the location was fantastic—convenient, with easy access to everything we needed. While my stay at Harrington was generally positive, there were a few aspects I felt could be improved: Privacy Concerns: The blinds in the shower didn’t fully cover the window, which meant that people outside could potentially see in. Additionally, the toilet didn’t have a door, which impacted privacy. Shared Parking: The parking on the driveway wasn’t private, and it was shared with others, which wasn't a big issue however on the ad it does state private parking. Noise from Fireworks: There were fireworks going off at night, which disrupted the quiet. It would have been helpful to know about this in advance, though it seems to have been a one-off occurrence during our stay. Overall, I enjoyed the property but thought these factors could be addressed to improve future stays.
• Amanda (9/5): A very comfortable and relaxing place - Beautiful fresh spacious room with a gorgeous large bathroom, glorious rain shower and footed bath. Very relaxing and comfortable for our overnight on route to Sydney. Took a walk along the river path a beautiful location to relax and recharge. A little information about local businesses would be helpful. Great coffee, cafes and restaurants etc
• Aqua (9/5): Very comfortable dog friendly accommodation. - Dog friendly, very comfortable bed, full size fridge, easy access to river walk. Only suggestions are to add hooks or rails for wet towels and scouter or brush for washing up.
• Tea-maria (10/5): one-night-stay - The property was easily accessible and located in a residential area! I loved the fact that it was pet friendly and my Dalmatian joined me on the stay. The bathroom was stunning and I adored the bath! Next to that the bed was comfortable! /

• Carole (8/5): It suited my needs as a stopover on my way south. - Location was out of the town as I didn't know the area so that's OK I travelled with my dogs and the access to the garden was down the side of the main house so it felt awkward when going back and forth as I felt I was intruding on the main house. This wasn't mentioned on the website, however I was only there one night so it didn't really bother me too much. But if the weather had been good I would have liked an area to sit out by the water.
• Bob (9/5): With a beautiful decor, and design the space was a lovely pitstop for my long road trip. - Although the location was within a new estate, it was within a few kilometers of a grocery shop and also close to a pub. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Parking in the driveway for the house left me wondering if there was enough room for the vehicle of the host in the driveway.
• Jhoana (10/5): It was a great place to relax after a long drive and we highly recommend it. - We love how the place was kept clean and smelling fresh. The house/suite is located just beside the lake and was ideal for long relaxing walk. The owner was lovely and welcomed us cheerfully. We love that the stay was pet friendly and cost friendly as well.

Despite the owner pre warned us a few hours before arrival about the dogs, however, they were quite noisy and we felt we couldn’t make a noise in the room as that would to start them off. Barking at the door which was annoying.

• Alana (6/5): Sweet little suite to stay and good location - Facilities of guest suite were great, had all we needed and extra thoughtful touches to accommodation. The bed was uncomfortable and sunk in the middle, made noise every movement or roll over made. Glass table was dirty and was large hair and what looked like pet fur on the floor around that area.

• Joshua (9/5): Stunning, relaxing suite in an amazing location. - The Guest Suite is so close to a waterfront walk with easy access via a walkway down the side of the house. The room was beautifully planned out with some amazing plants to add to the coastal vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the whole place just felt so relaxing.

Ideal for my husband and myself travelling with our 2 little dogs. We’ve never been to Harrington before and we were impressed with the beautiful surroundings with a great dog friendly community ♥️👍

• Brett (8/5): Recommended for short stays - Very comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation in a good location. Newly renovated and nicely decorated. Bathroom was well done. The blinds let in a lot of morning light. Could use an ironing board and iron.
• Pauline (9/5): A great place for a stopover. - This was a lovely property, very new and clean. Nice to have a small kitchen and a bath. The hotel is a short walk away for a delicious meal. The hostess addressed a minor concern promptly. The property needs some small indication that you are at the right place as the area is residential. It could be a discrete emblem added to the letterbox. While it was lovely I would require a toilet door before I would stay again. The toilet was around a corner but not private enough for me.
• Tony (1/5): Bad - I was fooled when I got there. I did not see my email till next day. I thought it was a private house in new estate area. There was also a car in driveway. I thought my wife was fooled on the internet and she was uncontactable in Germany at the time. So I had to make a few phone calls after 6pm to find somewhere to stay. I was expecting a motel of some sort. My mistake 😕. I was disappointed the the next day when I realised that I paid twice for nothing.
