However, it is tricky to find the front entrance; the approach feels akin to walking down a dodgy back alley. The bathroom was the best feature of the room. No kettle... only pods, which I personally don't like. Give me a good old-fashioned kettle in my room, without having to ask for it... You're supposed to be 5*. My only other gripe - the air conditioning doesn't go low enough; 16 °C was the limit, and the room felt a tad stuffy!

- JacobCrim (10/5): - Chateau Denmark was the third and final stop of our trip. The staff was great and attentive. Our room was quite large. The shower was also a great size for European standards, and the bed was so comfortable. The best sleep I had on our trip. We were concerned that it might be loud since we were on the first floor, but the soundproofing in this hotel is pretty incredible. If I had to pick anything. We didn't care for LCD panels for the lights. They were a bit weird and hard to understand.

Если Вы - толерантный гедонист, эстет и человек широких интересов, Chateau Denmark - лучший выбор! Понравилось абсолютно все! Тарелки и столовые приборы нам принесли по запросу моментально. Но было бы прекрасно иметь их в комплектации кухонной зоны сразу!

It’s set across a few adjacent buildings but it’s no big issue and in fact you are closer to facilities than a larger hotel but it needs a bit of outside walking.

Wasn’t aware the room was above a night club. No sleep until after 2am when the club music stopped. The breakfast was very very poor. Considering how expensive the room was we would have expected a hot breakfast. Instead there was not much choice, just bread, cheese, ham, croissants, fruit and yoghurt.

Staff were really helpful and friendly too. had an issue with TV volume which we were unable to resolve but the staff were more the helpful in trying to fix it.

- Jeannine (3/5): They claim to be a 5-star hotel but far from it. - The location is good and the staff is friendly. First, there is no proper lobby. Reception is shared with a restaurant, and the entrance is located in an alley that is also used by a nearby attraction. As a result, it is constantly crowded, and you often have to explain yourself just to enter. Additionally, the reception isn‘t staffed 24/7, which is also surprising and inconvenient for the price. The room itself was disappointing as well. The centralized lighting system did not work properly — lights would remain on with no option to switch them off individually. Overall, the finishes felt cheap and poorly thought out, especially in the bathroom. In one friends room the heated towel rails where falling off the wall which is also a safety hazard. But the worst was that at check-in, you are required to deposit money for the minibar, which is already unusual for a hotel claiming this level of luxury. Not even a bottle of water is complimentary. I took a small 3dl bottle of water and was later charged £17.30 for it! (£3.50 for the water and the rest as a “service charge“). To make matters worse, prices were not disclosed anywhere, and I was not even sent a bill directly. I only became aware of the charge because it was sent to my friends, who stayed there in another room instead. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Overall, the hotel is significantly overpriced for what it offers. I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.

- Johnny (4/5): Not a fan… - One of the staff members called Emmanuel was brilliant and made a real effort to give us a great welcome, he was the only redeeming thing about this hotel for us. If you are attending a show at HERE/Outernet, this hotel is literally joined onto it, you can’t get more convenient than that. Decor was cool, unique and memorable, albeit a bit form over function. This is a difficult hotel to recommend to most people, as due to its location you will hear very loud music right into the wee hours. If you are coming here specifically to party or attend a show, then it’s perfectly located. If you are looking to rest, sleep, or spend time in the room, this isn’t the place to have a peaceful or romantic retreat haha, fair warning. On top of being very loud, the room was rather impractical with extremely dim lighting, a cramped toilet that was right beside a large window with only a see through wireframe blind, and a glass shower smack bang in the centre of the room, right in front of every window and the front door. Frustratingly, the general manager’s attitude was strange, with passive aggressive comments even about something as simple as asking for some bottled water, something I later discovered they had charged us £6 a bottle for… and she still had the nerve to act as if this was a big demand. She may be better off in a different line of work! You should be aware that this hotel will place a £200 hold on your card just for minibar items, something many people may not be happy with. You should also be aware that by default they will try to charge you a “discretionary fee” of 5% of your booking, just because they can. I can see what they get out of this, but doesn’t fly with me personally. On the subject of the £200 hold… A large portion of the room’s capacity is eaten up by what they call a “Maxi Bar”, their version of a mini bar but done big. I can see why this appeals to the hotel, as they have a wide range of bottles on display which they are quite happy to charge you £100-250+ for, I’m unsure what’s great about this for the customer though. Lastly, this is NOT a particularly good hotel for anyone with mobility or accessibility issues, as the apartment was located round the corner from reception in another building, up a couple of flights of wonky, narrow stairs.

L’emplacement, l’ambiance, l’appartement, le personnel…l’équipe est vraiment adorable et fait tout pour que l’on se sente bien et que notre séjour se passe pour le mieux. Un grand merci à Luca pour son aide et sa gentillesse! Château Denmark c’est bien plus qu’un simple hôtel! C’est une expérience. Le bar de l’hôtel «Thirteen » a des cocktails à tomber par terre et si vous avez une petite faim n’hésitez pas c’est délicieux! Rien

- Kate (3/5): Vibes over comfort. Don't recommend. - Location was very handy. Definitely vibes over comfort, and we expected better from a hotel in this price range. Shower was in the middle of the living room on full display right in front of the room entrance. No sofa to sit at, despite paying extra for a second room (which is where the shower sat). There were teabags, but no kettle or milk (only a Nespresso with 4 pods). Bed was on wheels, so if you leant against the headboard the bed moved out. Door bolt didn't work, and the "privacy" setting didn't do anything. So basically I was convinced cleaning were going to walk in at any moment and see me in the shower. The shower was fully visible from the bed, and every point in the room except one corner. So basically no privacy. We came back to our room at 4.40 on one day and found a cleaner stood in our shower cleaning it, so had to awkwardly wait for her to finish cleaning the room. I'm all for having a different style, but at this price point you still need it to be comfortable. I wouldn't recommend.

However you see the rooms on whatever device you are looking at, they will not be able to convey the sumptuousness of the accommodation. Almost divine. No complaints at all.
