We werden vriendelijk welkom geheten en konden de auto gratis dichtbij het huis parkeren. Contact met de host ging vooraf prima via WhatsApp. Waar de eigenaar nog aan zou kunnen werken is de afwerking. Denk aan nette/schone kitrandjes in de badkamer, een trekker om de badkamervloer mee te drogen, een nachtlampje bij het eenpersoonsbed. Maar dat zijn kleinigheden. Het zit een eindje van het centrum af dus is vooral praktisch als je met de auto komt.

• Danny (6/5): I identify risks to your staying here. See photos. - Tricky to find the property. Look at the map, look at Booking.com, and you will no street address (number). The photograph is correct but it shows a private view which cannot be seen from the street. You have to ring the occupant to meet in the street nearby. Inside, the studio is beautifully tiled and decorated. It is spotlessly clean. The kitchenette is good and it is easy to come and go as you like. Slippers are provided. Shower is good. Bed is comfortable and linen is very clean. Free WiFi is a false claim. There is no signal. The only source of heating is a naked gas flame from a portable appliance. As the safety plate on that unit explains, this is not lawful as a sole source of heat. Even as a supplemental heat source, it requires ventilation. See my photographs. Carbon monoxide will build up and death can result. I regret to say that I have experience of investigating such deaths on behalf of the Coroner. I have trained local government staff in law and procedures. Because the exact address is not stated on Booking.com, and because the heating could not possibly pass inspection, I don't think this place is registered with the local authority. That means the cash you hand over for local taxes is unlikely to reach the right hands. Staying at an unregistered address brings risks of many kinds. I urge the owners to make this place safe and to have it inspected and registered before they list it again.

• Beate (6/5): Für unser Wochenende in Gent hatten wir alles war wir brauchten. - Wir hatten einen eigenen Eingang zu unserem Apartment. Unser Auto konnte sicher geparkt werden. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte unkompliziert, obwohl wir später als vereinbart gekommen sind. Es liegt eine Bahnlinie in der Nähe, die aber nachts nicht gestört hat. Alles war in Ordnung

• Craig (10/5): MOST COMFORTABLE BED EVER - THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED WE HAVE EVER SLEPT ON!!! We really enjoyed our time here even though it was very brief. very spacious studio with all the comforts of home! host was very nice and very easy to contact. outaide coty centre but an easy commute in via public transport. Even walking would only take half an hour at the most. can't recommend this place enough.
• Donatien (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was very great, the place is calm and the studio has everything you want for a short stay. A bus station is near the studio so you can go to the center easily.
