• Le Bao Ngoc (8/5): - The room was lovely, cozy and spacious just for the 2 of us. It’s located in a small beautiful rural area, we went for a walk during the sunset and it was gorgeous. Staffs were lovely and helpful. Breakfast were very nice as well. Because it is located in a small rural area, public transportation is not great. We figured out bus didn’t go that often during the weekend and there was only one bus going through this area. Securing a ride was also challenging because there was no dedicated taxi app, and most of the local phone numbers provided were either incorrect or disconnected. We ended up hitchhiking a few times.

• Tomasz (7/5): Na jedną noc ok - Fajna baza wypadowa do Bastei ewentualnie na pobliską Lilienstein. Niestety wyobrażałam sobie to trochę inaczej, myślałam, że restauracja będzie czynna cały dzień, być może zależy to od terminu lub liczby gości. Zapach smażonych potraw ulatujacy z restauracji na dole. Jest to pewnie kwestia złej wentylacji. Cały zapach unosił się na górnym korytarzu. Widok na góry to też nie był... może w pewnej małej części. Niestety gospodarz nie odpisał na zadane pytanie przez Booking.

• Bernd Stroheker (4/5): Vielleicht lernt man durch solche Erlebnisse andere Erlebnisse mehr zu schätzen - Wenn das Restaurant offen hatte, war da Essen OK. Wir wollen morgens kein üppiges Frühstück. Leider gab es nur die Auswahl zwischen "kein Frühstück" und "Frühstücksbuffet". Und wir wollen auch nicht erst ab 8.00h Frühstücken. Es stehen nirgends die Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants - aber man merkt es ja dann, wenn alles verschlossen ist. Die Handtücher im Bad waren unglaublich, mehr sage ich dazu nicht. Der Mülleimer im Zimmer wurde alle zwei bis drei Tage geleert. Nach drei Tagen wird das langsam interessant mit Apfel- und Bananenresten darin. Man sagte uns, wir müssten auf einem 200 m entfernten Parkplatz parken. Für andere Hausgäste galt das offensichtlich nicht. Schön, wenn es da nicht regnet, wenn man zum Auto geht. Als wir sagten, dass das WLAN nicht funktioniert, passierte erst mal nichts, bis wir nach drei Tagen ein mail schrieben, weil im Haus mal wieder niemand zu finden war. usw...usw...

Das gleiche Leid teilten die Gäste die Zeitgleich angereist sind. Und leider hatte die Küche an diesen Tag geschlossen obwohl laut Öffnungszeiten offen hätte sein müssen . Für uns war das ein Auswahlkriterium ,da wir mit einem Baby unterwegs sind und abends nicht unbedingt noch zum Abendessen fahren wollten.

It would be worthwhile to somehow indicate this for people whose height is higher than 180 cm)

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig aber …. Es gab leider keine Nachtischlampen . 🙈 Die Lüftung im Bad hat die Küchendüfte ins Badezimmer gesaugt 😏 Es gab zwar Insektengitter und die waren auch nötig, sonst hätten 2 Hornissen im Zimmer gehabt. Das Frühstück stand ungekühlt und ohne Insektenschutz da.

Location great but difficult to get to - Own bathroom was great Location high up in the mountains next to the Saxon Switzerland National Park was perfect Getting to the location was a bit of a pain as public transport was rare and no taxis available. Ended up walking over an hour at night from the train station. Lack of English speaking staff but at the end of the day it's in a quiet location high up in the mountains in Germany so is expected and not the end of the world.

It might not be very easy to get to the village without a car, but as soon as you figure out how buses work, it’s perfect. The village is surrounded by fields, forests and mountains, it’s very close to famous places and wonderful hiking routes. The living conditions are very comfortable too. The breakfast was amazing! I would definitely choose it for my next visit!

• Nells (8/5): Comfortable stay near the trails - Cozy local guesthouse, away from the tourist crowds but still offering everything you need if you're hiking in the region. Clean, comfortable room, restaurant on the ground floor (important because there aren't many options to eat in the area), considerate hosts. The bed (hard) and pillows (soft) were not the most comfortable. But it might be just a matter of preference.

• Alexandra (8/5): Lovely location and accomodation - I absolutely loved Gasthaus Stiller Fritz. Some small improvements to be done but overall I can recommend the place. Perfect location for hikes. Breakfast was great, we really liked the coffee. Pillow was a bit to small, just having a second pillow would fix the problem. Also the water in the shower wouldn't run away, also something easy to fix. Some veggies at breakfast would also be a nice improvement.
