Guest Reviews
- Selina (1/5): Disappointing and stressful - Booking.com did offer to try and find us another place to stay. Very disappointing experience. We arrived in the evening only to find other people already staying in the house. Apparently the owners had not checked that there was an active booking for our stay.
This left us stranded in a rural town during a heavily booked competition weekend, with almost no accommodation available at short notice. In the end, we had to cram into a friend’s hotel room for the night.
The situation caused a lot of stress and inconvenience and completely disrupted our trip. Very disappointing communication and organisation from the hosts. I would not expect this to happen with a confirmed booking.

- Hemanth (4/5): The price of this accommodation did not meet the expectation - Location Not kept well, outside areas need cleaning, repairs required inside the house, cupboards and drawers not opening properly, there should be more linen , blankets and pillows. Front gate needs to be fixed.
- kobi (10/5): amazing - beautiful accommodation nothing it was perfect
- Sue (9/5): Would return - Fantastic, neat and tidy home - large rooms, great areas. The outlook from the back was a welcome surprise. Good location. Extremely quite.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Rosemary (5/5): Comfortable enough. - Beds were comfy. Outdoor seated area lovely. The windows didn’t open. Duluxed shut. Freezing cold 1st 2 nights then worked out that air con system was on even though we didn’t turn it on.
- Lou (6/5): Pleasant - No BBQ
Shower in bathroom extremely small
Unable to hand wash as the laundry tubs are covered in paint
Discovering the air conditioning vent leaking in lounge room
Really not value for money charged.
TV not working on third and fourth nights

- Michaela (4/5): Lovely home just way too hot!!!! - The house was in a great location close to the town shops I stayed at this property for three nights in early November, specifically choosing it because it was advertised as having air conditioning. However, the property only has evaporative cooling, which was entirely ineffective. It felt as though the vents were blowing warm air, and to make matters worse, the windows at the front of the house could not be opened. The heat was unbearable, making it nearly impossible to sleep, especially as the house is an older. I would strongly advise against staying here during the warmer months.
- Belinda (7/5): Good - Clean and comfy Air con was not great
- Cheyanne (5/5): Passable - The air conditioning was not working and the house was so hot of an afternoon/night.
- Kiri (7/5): Nice family stay - The location was great and the house had a good layout with plenty of space and a large back patio. Driveway gates don't close properly and lawn not maintained (long grass, wary of snakes).
Pantry staples were not sealed properly and attracted ants.
- Laura (7/5): Good - The property was beautifully renovated inside, clean and comfortable. The gas heater in the main living room was broken and we were freezing unless in the bedrooms or TV room where there was supplied electric heaters (however they were too small to heat the main room). The kitchen could also use additional pots, pans and glassware.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - The house was very comfortable with plenty of room. Comfortable furnishings and lots of cupboard space. The outdoor area was lovely and sunny and the well equipped kitchen made cooking easy. We had a few minor maintenance issues but communication was very prompt. The yard was overgrown and while the back yard was large, it was not fully fenced which may be an issue if you have young children.
- Jewel (9/5): Comfort of home - Comfort of home Not many kitchen pots or pans
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional -
