• Sendy (10/5): 7 days in Istanbul - The place is great for the price. It’s right in the city center, once you step out of the hotel, everything you need is happening just in the next street. All kinds of public transport are nearby too, so you can easily get anywhere. The hotel has a small, family-style vibe, which we really liked. And a special shoutout to Mami at reception: he’s amazing. He answers all your questions, always checks if you need anything, recommends places to visit, and is just genuinely kind and helpful. Definitely recommended!
• Heather (8/5): Good overall, but many issues - I booked at the Robin Hotel for 8 nights. Upon arrival I was met by a very friendly and professional person, Mohammed. I had booked a Deluxe room with a balcony, but prior to arriving was sent a message asking if I wanted a smoking room. Since I didn’t, in fact, want a smoking room I replied no. But I assumed of course, I’d still be smoking on the balcony that I had paid for. However, when I checked in they were under the impression that I didn’t want the room with a balcony that I had booked and paid for, which unfortunately was no longer available. It was misleading, confusing, and very frustrating. Also, I’d just traveled over 24 hours via Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and was coming to Turkey as to escape the current war with Iran. Due to my distress about this, the person working (very helpful and professional) suggested they could put me up in another sister property (La Vitrene) which was a short walk away and had a balcony (which I had booked at Robin Hotel). So, we went there and he kindly carried my bags up 2 floors (no elevator). The rest of my stay was nice, quiet, and I felt safe. The owner also reached out and was quick to fix the WiFi issues I had, as I was there for remote work, and not purely tourism. It was overall a good visit, and I’m thankful for my time in Istanbul. However, there were in fact multiple issues that arose. I’m sure I overpaid, but it’s ok since I felt safe where I eventually stayed. Was it the Robin Hotel in Istanbul that I booked for? No. Did they put me up in another adequate and nice property? Yes. Should this issue have happened at all? No. Do I feel like I overpaid for what I received? Yes. I really took my time in leaving this review, as the owner was so kind. He also graciously took me out to dinner, which was so lovely and wonderful. However, the problem came from their end, and even though it was remedied, I still did not, in fact, stay in the Robin Hotel that I paid for. They were gracious, friendly, and professional though. Miscommunication about the room I booked, which led to staying at a different hotel. Also, some WiFi issues.

• Elene (10/5): - 🤩🤩🤩We had a wonderful stay at Robin Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location was perfect — convenient and close to center, Taxsim Square, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality of the amenities to the overall atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul!

Room are clean but the room service personnelnot properly check everything fine. 1 st two day i havenot get any showers gel and shampoo. I informed to reception but I have not received. Room doors are not soundproof. I heard outside noises. I always pass the reception and its always filled with someone it's make bit less private. This is only good for fewdays stay.

• Caroline (3/5): Грязное белье,завышенная цена - Только услужливость персонала и относительно удобное расположение на площади Таксим - крупном пересадочном узле при поездках в оба аэропорта. Мне нужно было остановиться на одну ночь по прилету из аэропорта Сабиха и на следующий день улететь из большого аэропорта Стамбула. Я не очень внимательно вчитывалась в отзывы и посмотрела только на общую оценку и на несколько последних отзывов. Забронировав жилье,я написала в отель,где со мной были на связи в течение дня,но я заранее предупредила о своем позднем приезде (в районе 2 часов ночи). То есть,мой приезд точно не должен был быть неожиданностью для отеля. Приехав на место,я пришла в отель по адресу,где на ресепшене мне сказали,что с моим номером какая-то «проблема» и придется пойти в другой отель прямо рядом с этим. Мы прошли в районе 5 минут,сотрудник Мохаммад помог мне довезти чемодан и поднять его на второй этаж по лестнице,за что ему спасибо. Также в отеле не было питьевой воды и он купил мне две небольшие бутылки воды в магазине внизу. Но на этом плюсы закончились. В номере я обнаружила грязное постельное белье с чьими-то волосами на простыне,грязные наволочки,а на пододеяльнике даже были какие-то прилипший кукурузные хлопья. В целом,создалось впечатление,что постельное белья вообще не меняли после последнего гостя (или гостей),хотя при этом наборы мыльных принадлежностей были обновлены,то есть формальную «уборку» они как бы сделали. Поскольку время было очень позднее,а вставать мне надо было через 6 часов,то я не стала говорить ничего персоналу,потому что сильно устала и хотела спать. Но к сожалению,было очень неприятно столкнуться с подобным. Увы,я забыла сделать фото этого прекрасного постельного белья, это бы сильно впечатлило читателей отзыва. К сожалению,позже я прочитала отзывы и увидела тоже информацию про грязное белье,а положительные отзывы в основном одинаковые,что скорее всего говорит о том,что они накручены. За эту цену в данном районе конечно же можно найти и другие варианты,а можно и варианты дешевле. Не советую этот отель и больше ни за что ту не остановлюсь.
• Mohamed (10/5): Will love to come here again - The staff is super friendly and helpful We missed our flight and we already booked the hotel for that day, when we came on the next flight next day, they didn’t charge us for that day and compensated us. Moaaz is super helpful, he even charges the Istanbul public transportation card for us from his application to facilitate it for us They have indoors air fryer, microwave, electric oven all for us to use to heat our food. And it is in the center of Istanbul. Apart from a minor problem with the shower, the hotel is otherwise a very great price for value

• Heather (9/5): Welcoming & Comfortable. - We stayed for six nights after having booked and paid for 8 nights at another awful hotel called Otantik Taksim Hotel, which was such a terrible experience we had to leave. Robin Hotel was such a relief to stay at for our remaining six nights in Istanbul. Lovely clean sheets and towels and there was good lighting in the room too. There were good curtains to block out the light and the air con worked well. The bathroom was one of the best we’ve experienced in our travels in Türkiye with a heated floor, excellent lighting and lovely large shower head with plenty of hot water. Also a bar fridge in the room as well as a kettle. The staff were really kind and helpful and always checking to see if you needed assistance with anything. The mattress was a bit saggy. There is a nightclub close by that starts up around 11.00pm and goes until 4 or 5am (except Mon & Tues night). Not overly bad because of the double glazing but it did effect my sleeping a bit.
