• Ana (10/5): - Es un piso con todo lo que necesitas para estancias cortas, es cerca al centro, tomando metro en 10-15 min estás en la Gran vía, el sector es residencial,muy tranquilo, hay comercio a dos cuadras, donde encuentras todo lo que necesitas

• MARIA BELEN (1/5): HORRIBLE Y PENOSO - No es un apartamento ni está disponible el apto. entero para los huéspedes ni hay cerradura en la puerta de la habitación, cualquiera puede acceder a ella libremente. No pernocte en el alojamiento, el anfitrión un maleducado y apático. No quiso cancelarme la reserva, me encontré con la situación al llegar, esto se considera estafa y publicidad engañosa y me ha acosado por teléfono y amenazafo porque no he pude llevarle las llaves antes por asuntos laborables. La estancia, una habitación en un piso compartido, sin cerradura, la cama , un colchón con 4 patas de metal, antigua y maloliente. Un auténtico cuchitril y sin ninguna seguridad ni privacidad.

• Wendy (10/5): No problems, and I think it's safe for a single woman traveler - Raul met me personally, showed me everything, and reinforced my transport options to the airport. I explores the neighborhood a little; it was between twi major roads with metro/bus stops, restaurants and grocery stores. Really, no negatives. You should just be aware that another person might occupy the other bedroom. There was another guest but he was fine and we shared the bathroom and kitchen without a problem. My goal was to be closer to the airport for an early flight and Raul filled the bill. If your goal is to be close to the museums, etc., this might be a little distant.

• Lucio (8/5): Great stay, quiet, comfortable and well connected. - I stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. The room was very quiet and comfortable, perfect for resting after a long day. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and all the main attractions. Everything was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! It’s a shared house, so the bathroom is not private. Of course, if someone is using it, you have to wait a bit, but that’s perfectly normal, especially considering the price.

The highlight of the stay is Mr Raul, the excellent host, who goes over and above to look after his guests and keeps the property neat and clean! Would definitely stay here again. NIL

• Lola (8/5): Muy bien - Estaba todo muy limpio y el dueño fue súper amable conmigo! Gracias!! Hacía mucha calor a pesar de haber un ventilador. Al estar a pie de calle no podía abrir la ventana ya que te veían desde fuera. La habitación no se puede cerrar por fuera cosa que no me gustó porque hay otra habitación al lado y depende quien te toque te pueden robar. Es un piso extremadamente pequeño.

• Marek (7/5): I was prepared for the modesty of the accommodation and I am pleased with the low price. - The overnight stay was quiet, the host also offered earplugs to protect against street noise. It is a very small room in the owner's apartment, with shared use of the kitchen and bathroom. I knew about it from the descriptions, so I was prepared for it and I'm not complaining. For Madrid, this is quite a low price. You can't have super hotel comforts for a low price. Thanks to self-cathering, I saved money. It was OK. I would feel better having at least a small key to the room (the room is not locked in any way) - such a room key is not an expensive investment. Some technical elements of the apartment, including the bathrooms, require repairs - if it were my apartment, I would try harder to repair the damage. There's not much you can do about noise from other apartments and the street (these are typical problems in multi-family housing in city centers) - but earplugs help you sleep. The room does not have typical air conditioning with a heat exchanger, which may be uncomfortable during the hot summer months (there is only a fan). But it has heating, so in colder periods there is thermal comfort.

The property was just what I needed for this trip, the owner/manger was very accommodating, had a late check in due to flights. He was very responsive and helpful, I didn’t want for anything during my stay.

Loved it - perfect experience!! easy check-in with a very kind host (Raul met me, showed me around the apartment, explained everything i would need, etc.), great location to enjoy the neighborhood and also quick access to the metro for the city center/airport/etc., and also very quiet and safe - both the apartment itself and the neighborhood. as a female solo traveller i felt extremely comfortable and had zero worries in this space. loved it and i would definitely seek out Raul's accommodation next time i return to Madrid! all was great for me!

I was traveling with a big travel case so it might be little dificult to move around the room. But you are not traveling to Madrid to stay in a room so it was ok!
