- Edward (1/5): Modern Sound Proofing Required - The cleanliness, layout, equipment, decor, kitchen, living room, bed and bathroom are all up to modern standard. Access via stairs and lift to the 1st floor is easy. Our Host met us at the train station late in the evening and helped us to reach the apartment. He was very good to respond to our complaint via the Booking.com chat system. The apartment's lack of sound insulation made it a disaster for us. We are seniors and couldn't sleep because the street noise via the balcony from a very busy side street with pubs and restaurants was loud from 3pm and extremely loud at night up to 3 am.. If the balcony was enclosed and the doors and shutters changed to modern standards it would be fine.

Flat was spotless and ideally located, with a balcony and once out the door we could cross the road straight onto the beach. Also surrounded by lovely eateries and pubs. A true gem in Fuengirola...
