- Jiří (5/5): Passable - Having been using Booking for 10+ years, never have I come across such a fraud. Advertised location was misleading. The apartment was not a part of the hotel as one would believe from the advert pictures. And most importantly, the apartment equipment and maintenance was below the average. Kudos to Booking that they made this person change the advert. Additionally, after my urgency, Booking provided a substantial discount. This accommodation is not worth your money and nerves 1) The advertised location on Sunny Beach was 3,4 km far from the real location of the apartment. The actual apartment is nearby the main roundabout in Nessebar ca 500 m from the local beach. I have no clue why the person did not put there the real address. 2) Karolina Komplex hotel staff informed us that it is a private apartment not managed by them. After several calls to some Dutch guy (contact number on Booking), some lady came to the hotel and gave us keys to one of the hotel apartments (?!) 3) Not being managed by the hotel, the beds were not made, no toilet paper, nothing. The air conditioning is prehistoric non-functional machine located only in the living room - but not in the bedroom where you need it equally. We had to buy fans (plural) just to survive. 4) There is a very active ant colony in the apartment.
