Guest Reviews
- Nicolas (8/5): Very good -
- Carl (9/5): Great location by the river and some nice parks. Nice restaurants and bars. And felt very safe.. - Great location.
Very near the river, and the Sala Riviera music venue which is why we were there..
Really cool bar called La esquina bar a few minutes walk
Great atmosphere and free Tapas all night..
Loads of restaurants on the doorstep..
The area felt very safe.. It was very small. Much smaller than the photos had you believe.
Was a nice place though so im just being picky..
- Helen (9/5): The space was clean, had all we needed, and close to groceries, a beautiful park, attractions -
- Lily (8/5): Very good - The woman who met us with the keys was her sweet. However, she did not speak English which was not that big of a deal. Also we were late to our check-in time, but they were still very accomodating. The space felt very clean, and was in such a great location. Additionally there were fruit shops and cafes surrounding the area. Great option for people traveling on a budget The doors to the apartment were extremely frustrating. We would have to account for an extra 15 minutes when leaving and arriving because the locks on the doors were so difficult. Additionally, we broke a key which we are charged for. While this is valid, we would not have broken it if the locks worked properly. Additionally, the hosts communicated with me through booking.com and WhatsApp, but as soon as I asked how much the charge was for the key they stopped responding on WhatsApp. Finally, there were signs posted everywhere that renting to tourists was recently banned in that neighborhood of Madrid. We did not have any problems with this, but we did recieve many dirty looks.
- Rosina (5/5): Passable - The location is great - very close to the metro line 6, also a walking distance from the historical center of Madrid. There are a lot of stores and bakeries near by.
The studio has a very well equipped kitchen. On top of being very small, the bed was like a hammock - we would slide to the middle and not have any space at all. The mattress definitely has seen better days. The sheets were stained, I do like to believe they were gchanged before our arrival, but am not convinced.
There were hairs stuck to the bathroom tiles upon our arrival - not sure if anyone cleaned the bathroom at all, as if they have they would have noticed that the sink is getting clogged if you put on the water.
The space is also super dark - there is 0 natural light coming in, so you have to have the lights on all the time.
Last but not least- the whole communication with the host is in Spanish which is pretty annoying considering it is a bunch of generic messages which are sent to each visitor - it should not be so difficult to get them translated.
- Евгения (10/5): Exceptional - Location Not enough day light
- Nosa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (6/5): Great location, locks need to be sorted out - The location was very good and it was quiet. It was a bit cramped, the dehumidifier had to be on all the time and filled up very quickly. The fact that we had problems with the locks to both doors really spoiled our enjoyment as we were constantly anxious that we wouldn’t be able to get back in.
- David (9/5): Five days in hustle and bustle Madrid was fascinating. - Clean, modern bright, good location one block from the Metro, good appliances with a dehumidifier. Hot water was great, but didn’t last very long.
- Slemenik (4/5): Disappointing -
- Pau (8/5): Very good -
- Vishal (10/5): Nice place, cozy. Close to Metro. Great for a few days - Nice location Cold bathroom floor
- Gilberto (3/5): not good - Location and host stairs and bed very uncomfortable
- Mag1994 (8/5): Cozy flat near the centre - Great position, 20 minute walk to Plaza Mayor, bus stop outside. Quiet. Well furnished kitchen and bathroom. Good value for money. Ok to just sleep in, a bit small if you are more than 2 people and want to cook and eat inside, there is only a little table stuck into a corner.
- Sol (7/5): Good -
- Jose (9/5): Superb - It was very practical and comfortable, also the girl who gave us the keys was very kind. Definitely I could come back The time that we were waiting to receive the keys cause there is no a reception
- Aleksandar (8/5): Very good -
- Cryptoharvs (5/5): Functional but cosy apartment nearby the local market - Secure and quiet, well back from the street The property was quite small, in relation to the pics. It's probably only good for 2 persons, even though it sleeps 4. As its ground floor and in the interior there is no real natural lighting, so for some could feel a little claustrophobic. The bathroom door has expanded and does not close properly and the tap location in the shower makes it difficult to move around without bumping it all the time
- Md (9/5): Superb -
- J (9/5): Superb -
- Vitalii (7/5): Good - The appartment is clean, beds are very comfortable. Oil, sugar, coffee , tea are provided the owner ask to pay for the key delivery
