Guest Reviews
- Tyler (9/5): -
- Ray (7/5): Comfortable but probably over-priced - Tucked away behind an historic house. Quite private. Wood heater would be nice in winter. An older facility in need of some TLC. Struggled with the coffee machine. Probably over-priced.
- Becky (10/5): We had a fabulous short but wonderful stay. Will stay longer next time. - Beautiful setting Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Gorgeous little cottage - Everything was perfect. Easy to find, enter Everything you could need was provided.
Loved our stay there There was nothing we didn't like
- Brendan (10/5): -
- kirkland (8/5): Comfortable and easy all you need to enjoy your stay - Very comfortable and great location The fridge
- Emma (9/5): Comfortable! Thank you! - Close to everything! Clean and tidy! Comfortable!
- Sakshi (10/5): Perfectly located gem - The location is pretty convenient where we could easily find Ubers to go to the various wineries and distilleries.
The cottage itself is the cutest thing! It may seem tiny, but it is very well laid out and super spacious. Every little detail is so thoughtful and perfect. Every amenity was purposeful.
The instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow.
All in all, my partner and I had the best time :) Nothing at all!
- Petrovic (8/5): -
- Loulier (10/5): We had a wonderful stay - thank you very much! - The attention to detail with all the little extras including coffee pods, bath salts and bubble bath were lovely. Cottage was very clean, private and had a very relaxed feel. The mattress could be a bit more comfortable and a bigger TV with better WiFi connection.
- Danielle (7/5): - Nice comfy bed the spa was nice There was nowhere near enough firewood or kindling. The cottage was absolutely freezing when we arrived at 5pm. The air con split system heater didn't even work to heat up the room while we waited for the fireplace to get going. My partner is an electrician and couldn't even get it working. We were freezing when the fireplace wasn't going and returning home from our adventures
- August (1/5): Stayed half an our it took to find somewhere else in Yarra Glen. Nearly ruined our anniversary. - We only stayed for half an hour. There was nothing we liked about the property The location is on a main road in a built up area. The facilities were ageing, the spa was old , the back yard was a piece of grass without trees or plantings.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- STEPHEN (9/5): -
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Kim (9/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): - We loved everything about the cottage. Lovely and clean, Extremely comfortable bed, had everything we needed and fantastic location
- Stephen (9/5): - Not much hot water pressure from shower.
- Briony (10/5): Cozy and comfortable - An incredible night! I loved sitting by the fire and relaxing in the spa bath, just me and my book. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable, like sleeping in the clouds. Super easy to find and check-in was a breeze. A lovely, cozy, comfortable cottage. The perfect getaway. Shower didn't have a lot of pressure, but the spa bath more than made up for it. Quite a bit of traffic noise, so play some low calming music and drown it out.
- Brooke (9/5): Superb -
- Mheron93 (3/5): Wouldn't return - Cute cottage vibes just a short walk from town
Kind of them to leave a note for my partners birthday Cockroach inside the cottage when we got there
Heating wasn't working
Hair on the bed
Not enough firewood provided
Water didn't get hot, just warm
Old mattress weren't comfortable
No one on call to assist with issues
No resolution to issues when they were raised
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (9/5): Lovely and cosy - Stunning little cottage - and perfect for a night stay in Yarra Glen, especially if you have an event in the region. Car park super easy to access too! A lot of windows without blinds so sun streams in early.
- Dalton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Superb - The heater broke on the second night so it was a little cold.
- Kerry (9/5): Private, cute and quaint property in the heart of Yarra Glen. - Very cute and quaint little cottage. Beautifully furnished. Walking distance to town. Private.
- Kim (8/5): Cozy Stay - The location was great, very close to shops in Yarra Glen and drive to the wineries. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. We had an unseasonable cold spell come through; having the fireplace was excellent. The bed is a double I believe so a bit tiny. There is only a microwave; we didn't need a cooktop/oven but just a heads up. K-fee coffee pods are impossible to find.
- Belinda (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cottage in a great location, close to everything.
The spa was lovely to relax in at the end of the day.
- Jayashri (10/5): A fantastic time in a beautiful cottage - Fantastic cottage Nothing- all brilliant
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): overall very nice i would recommend - Bed was very very soft and pillows very big
- Cassio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Sean (7/5): A clean and well positioned cottage with a really comfortable bed. - A good location and set back from the main road so nice and quiet at night. It would have been nice if some wood had been provided for the wood heater instead of being told we needed to go and buy some from a service station. The bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade, particularly the shower.
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - Fireplace TV
- Polly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (9/5): We loved it! Would come again! - It was cosy! Very comfortable, very clean, spotless, well equipped and well stocked Verandahs suffer from birds roosting on spouting surrounding cottage and leaving their messy ‘deposits’ all ‘round the floor of verandah. It makes walking into cottage a bit messy.
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - Was ok Bit run down cracked kitchen bench 2 pieces of firewood shower over bath that has jets in it that don't work expensive for what is
- David (5/5): Passable - Location..
Privacy Inadequate firewood
A little dowdy
- Helen (9/5): Attarctive, well positioned character cottage in the Yarra valley. - It's well appointed small cottage in walking distance to centre of Yarra Glen and many attractions of the Yarra valley. Owner was really good to deal with. Wood heater. gives great atmosphere but it is not very efficient. Mattress is a little soft for our liking.
- Omeson (9/5): Superb - It was cute and cosy. Very clean
- Jess (9/5): Superb -
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianne (8/5): Excellent accomodation - Well appointed and had everything we needed Unfortunately we had a 4 hour power cut, not a fault of the property but it was so hot and uncomfortable
- Beverly (9/5): Superb -
- Leigh (10/5): Well appointed in great location for exploring the region. - Very well appointed and central to town and restaurants. Couldn’t stay long enough
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -

- Chantel (9/5): Gorgeous little cottage in a great location. Will definitely be back -
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Very good - Cute little cottage, comfortable, roomy for what it is, no problems with the accommodation. Parking was a bit squeezy. If both cottages are occupied, and you drive anything bigger than a Corolla, it could be interesting in the parking space. My 4WD fitted quite well, but the other cottage wasn't occupied, left me good room to manoeuvre.
- Ilana (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicki (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Beautiful property for couples wanting privacy with more than your own home - it was lovely should have more nights. - Beautifully presented - loved the architecture, the light and privacy and large bathroom with a big spa. None
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (10/5): Clean , cosy everything you need - So cosy and private. Ideally located so close to everything in town. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family Nothing
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy clean Maybe car spots little bigger
- Lizzy (8/5): Very good - spacious, well stocked, all-round well kept property more seating outside ?
- Taliah (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (8/5): Stunning cottage and great location - Cosy and loved the architecture design of the cottage. More firewood and at least a continental breakfast included.
- Karen (9/5): Very good - All very homly Could have used a clothes horse
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional -

- Braden (9/5): Great stay! will be back for sure - Two Truffles Cottages had everything you need for a weekend away, Only 5-10 minutes from several wineries and very central in town. Highly recommend and will stay here again! Honestly, we enjoyed it all.
- Ewan (10/5): Very comfortable and convienient. Great fireplace and bath. - Fireplace with wood materials.
Kitchen was well provided for to make nice meals.
Bath was very comfortable.
Notes from owners were very helpful.

- Sara (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely cottage - Beautiful cottage with a nice fireplace. Spacious with everything we needed. We really liked the spa, high ceilings, decor, board games, and the verandah. Great communication with the host. We look forward to staying again, and highly recommend this wonderful accommodation.
- Kylie (10/5): Amazing cottage for getaway, quick response from - Beautiful cottage, Lovely spa bath with salts and bubbles, extra touches like hair straightener and shower soaps. Thoroughly enjoyed our getaway!
- Lee (9/5): Superb - there was no breakfast we took our own. as mandy said that people go into to town for breakfast, not everyone can do that especially after open heart surgery in oct, and using a walking stick i can't walk far.It should be an option and we should be asked if we want breakfast. Not have me ask. there were triangular windows above the bed and the lounge window with no coverings on them which meant we were woken up at the crack of dawn. You can get curtains now that are remote controlled. Not happy about that as we like to sleep-in.
- Gabrielle (9/5): Superb -
- Damian (10/5): perfect weekend away - absolutely everything!
- Jacinta (10/5): Exceptional - cleanliness, facilities, fireplace, nothing
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (6/5): Pleasant - Really enjoyed the cottage, the bed was extremely comfortable. The cottage was very clean and provided some information on the surrounding area as well. The fire place was wonderful too! There was a store room for staff to access in the cottage with a back entrance, I was not aware of. This felt as though there was someone else in the cottage and a bit of an invasion of privacy as I was able to hear them walking right at the head of the bed. I know it is normal to have a store room in these types of accommodation but don't think they are accessed while others are staying in the accommodation.
- Jenna (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): Very enjpyable and will do again! - Very comfortable and well appointed. Good value for money. Excellent position.
- Carlee (10/5): Exceptional - Such a beautiful, cosy cottage that met all our expectations. So relaxing to sit by the fire place and have a lovely quiet evening. Very easy to check in and out and great communication from hosts.
- Sarah (10/5): Two Truffles was a really calm space to spend some quality time in. - The space was small and cozy, but the high ceilings let a lot of light in and gave the illusion of space. It was a really lovely space to spend time in. The pillows were a little soft for our liking. Otherwise, everything else was great.
- Carol (8/5): Lovely studio cottage with a fireplace! - Great location to stay in to explore the Yarra Valley. The bathtub was nice and it was lovely that owners supplied bath salts and bubble bath! Cottage was well kept and organised. I particularly liked the FAQs the owner left including not to be scared by a local bird that taps on the window! Just a heads up the property is an open plan studio, it wasn’t clear from the photos. Some of the dishes in the cupboards were a bit dirty and oily so needed washing before use. Would be good to have a drying rack for the dishes after washing up.
- Christine (8/5): Smokey night, pleasant morning. - The cottage was very cosy and roomy. Quite surprised by how lovely it was. Had everything you would need. The mattress needs updating. We lit the wood heater and the chimney was blocked and whole cottage became engulfed in smoke. Was not a good night for air quality. Have emailed owner direct and no response received one week on to receive an apology.
- Daniela (8/5): Very good -
- Hayden (10/5): The stay was extremely cozy and inviting with excellent amenities, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for accomo - very comfortable stay, great bubble Barth and fireplace had wood and newspaper ready to go!
- Christina (7/5): Cozy Cottage - the location was perfect for the wineries and activities surrounding this beautiful area. the accomodation was cozy with a nice touch of the fireplace and the bed was comfortable. the spa bath wasn’t working unfortunately. the utensils were blunt and some were not usable.
- Rod (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ayisha (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl (10/5): lovely property. we could not have asked for more. would - Lovely little cottage with lots of thoughtful extras provided. Private, surrounded by trees and garden, however walking distance to the centre of town. Comfortable bed, and great shower. no wifi
