• Noga (10/5): מקום מושלם, נוח, נעים, נקי, מיקום מעולה. - מקום מושלם, נוח, נעים, נקי, מיקום מעולה. נגישות גבוהה באוטובוס ומרחק קצר לרכבת התחתית הפכו את כל הטיול לנוח וזמין. המארחים מאוד זמינים וקל לתקשר, אבל באמת שלא היינו זקוקים לכלום כי הכל היה בנמצא. ממליצה בחום לשהות של שבוע ויותר בלונדון. הכל היה מושלם. העליה לקומה 3 בלי מדרגות עשויה להיות מאתגרת ולא לגמרי היה ברור שזה המצב. אמא שלי בת ה 76 שהיתה איתנו עמדה בזה בגבורה אבל נכון היה לתת התראה טובה יותר לגבי רמת הנגישות או לגבי זה שהדיררה הנבחרת היא בקומה 3 ללא מעלית.

• carolina (7/5): Great location - Great location and very clean. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, replying quickly to everything. The place looked lovely and being on the first floor was convenient. The main bed felt quite old and the sides seemed worn, so it felt like you could almost roll off. The sofa bed was also very hard and not very comfortable. In addition, there is a restaurant next door that plays loud music until at least midnight or 1 a.m., which was not mentioned in previous reviews. If you are very sensitive to noise like me, this might be an issue.

• Paul (10/5): Perfect location for a comfortable stay - A very well situated and appointed apartment. A lovely patio deck on the back of the property which really gives a sense of space. A host was attentive and answered any questions we had not only relating to the property but to exploring the surrounding area. To be honest there was nothing that we didn’t like about the property.

• dana (10/5): Very recommended!!! - Excellent apartment, fully equipped with everything needed. We were three guests and the sofa bed was very comfortable. The location is great — about a 10-minute walk from the underground station and right by Portobello Market. Exploring this neighborhood was a real pleasure. Vincenzo was very responsive and available for any request we had. Just worth noting: the apartment is on the first floor with no elevator, the bedroom mattress is relatively soft (for those to whom this matters), and at night there can occasionally be music noise from the restaurant below.

Es befindet sich in einem schmalen Haus, in jeder Etage ein nur Appartement und unten eine gediegene Bar. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Ausstattung. Das Sofa lädt dazu ein, nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in London zu entspannen, bevor man zu den Abendaktivitäten aufbricht. Das Bett ist bequem und die Wohnung ist ruhig. Da es sich um einen sehr aufmerksamen Gastgeber handelt, wurden die paar Kleinigkeiten, die wir nicht so toll fanden, sofort behoben. Dadurch war der Aufenthalt perfekt.

We travel a lot to London and this will now be our “home from home”. - Extremely well appointed and attention to detail everywhere with beautiful interior decorating. Communication from property managers was fantastic. The Location is perfect in the heart of Notting Hill and the little terrace at the back was a welcome surprise. Nothing! Truly Exceeded our expectations.

The patio was very nice, the apartment was cozy, the shower was refreshing overall it was great. A couple enhancements would make this place 10/10 It had no A/C, we had to open the windows no net so flies would go in. The bed mattress and pillows must be renewed.

• Malte (9/5): Gemütliches Apartment in toller Lage - Das Apartment ist im Dachgeschoss wunderbar gelegen, direkt in Notting Hill, um die Ecke der Portobello Road. Das Apartment wirkt vom ersten Betreten direkt gemütlich und holt das Beste aus der Fläche heraus. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Sofa bequem, wenn man mal kurz verweilen möchte. Sehr schön ist auch der Blick in die Ferne über die Dächer aus dem Badfenster. Der Nachteil der guten Lage ist natürlich, dass viel los ist, wobei man den eigentlichen Trubel tagsüber weniger hört, sondern eher nur die Weinbar direkt gegenüber, die aber auch zwischen 23 und 1 Uhr schließt. Und es wird natürlich an sonnigen Tagen etwas wärmer im Dachgeschoss, aber dafür hat man auch seine Ruhe.

• Athena (10/5): Lovely flat with outdoor area next to Portobello road - Brilliant location right next to portobello road market, on a busy street in the daytime but quiet at night. The bedroom was at the back, so quieter still, and opened out to a small outdoor area with outdoor furniture. The weather was good enough for me to have my morning coffee there, which was a bonus! The host, Vincenzo was readily available with instructions on how to access the property and very friendly. Nothing, loved it.

• Michael (7/5): Our stay was reasonably pleasant and the excellent location helped us in meeting our trip goals. - The location is spectacular and really close to many key attractions to those visiting London. The property is well taken care of by the owners who have done their best given the very limited space. For those getting on in years, the property is situated on the 3rd stair level. With heavy luggage, it can be difficult to climb up many stairs. More investment into sleeping comfort can also enrich the experience. Vincenzo could consider investing in a hotel grade queen size bed and mattress and possibly air conditioning for the summer. Being a hotelier, I am more critical than most but it’s intended as constructive.

• Anne (9/5): Lovely quiet apartment in Nottinghill - We enjoyed the location very much. Close to interesting shops and the famous Portobella market. Good range of cafes for all meals if you choose to go out to eat but the well-appointed flat offered us the option to prepare our own meals on occasion which is a bonus in London if you are on a budget. I have mobility issues but found the fantastic bus system both inexpensive and easy to access from the flat and recommend this mode of transport. The flat has a very welcome outside patio, which can be accessed through the main bedroom. Great place to rest and unwind after a busy day. The shower is a good one. Easily accessed, a decent size and with constant hot water. I found the bed and bedding clean, fresh, and comfortable.The hosts communicated promptly and were helpful. Nothing. All good

• Cuervo (10/5): Perfect location. - We absolutely LOVED our stay. The location is unmatched, right next to portobello road so lots to do. The neighborhood is lovely and beautiful. Honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was so nice coming home after a long day exploring. The onlyyyy thing is the bed is a spring mattress so it wasn’t the most comfortable but I still was able to sleep well.

One light flickered constantly, faucet in bathroom not working properly, the fact that it was on the third floor and it was difficult to tell which level it was on when booking. This was hard to go up and down with an infant, our luggage and the stroller. Also thought it was weird we had to remove our own trash.

• Neil (7/5): Good - The instructions to get into the apartment were clear, with the owner providing his mobile phone number if there were any problems, which there weren't. The apartment itself was clean, cosy and as shown on the Booking.com website and while small, is a good space - just too cluttered (see below) . Fantastic location. The public entry and the stairwell were in need of a good clean, and mail was left uncollected on the floor. This may sound a small thing but it provided an unwelcoming impression that let the apartment down The bathroom needs an upgrade: the shower leaks and the bathroom tap needs maintenance. There are too many bits and pieces in the apartment (including a large and clunky vacuum cleaner and a large, useless wicker lampshade) that make it cluttered and less practical than the space could be. It needs an edit.

• Taylor (9/5): Conveniently located well lit nicely decorated functional and pleasant accommodations. - The lock box for the keys was easy to use and the property owner sent text and video instructions for accessing the apartment We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the heater in the bathroom, so that made the apartment too warm and we needed to open the windows at night to let cool air in.

Bathroom excellent and shower was great Heating good, bed comfortable. Would be ideal with the hoover and other essentials were in storage of some sort but it’s appreciated that’s not possible in that flat but it’s a bit of an eyesore in the lounge. Smoke alarm hanging from bedroom ceiling. Damp by bedroom window. No pillows or duvet for the sofa bed.

• Lesley (9/5): Great location, clean and spacious with a comfortable sofa and living area. Highly recommend staying here ! - Very clean and represented exactly as the pictures. The flat is in an excellent location as you are between Notting hill gate and Ladbroke Grove underground tube stations. Lots of local bakeries for pastries and coffee on the street.Walking distance to local pubs and restaurants. The living area is generous and the sofa very comfortable. We used the washing machine and kitchen facilities which were good. The flat is tastefully decorated also. Our host was very responsive too. The bed was lumpy and needs an upgrade. We both left with sore backs. Unfortunately this was the only negative and I have to be honest and provide this feedback to the hosts. Also on one of the nights the restaurant below us had an event on with music blaring until 11pm. It was quiet on all the other nights.

• Gail (9/5): Excellent - Very easy to figure out check-in procedure. Loved the little video Vincenzo sends pre-check-in. Apartment spotless and lots of hot water and strong flow in shower. Location is perfect and very quiet. Great bakery on the corner. Excellent decor. Comfy couch. Easy 12 minute walk to the Notting Hill Tube Station. There is an M &S food hall (small version) and a good Tesco Express on Holland Park Road about 2 minutes walk from the tube station. These are very MINOR issues: The lock box numbers at night are difficult to see. Make sure you have your phone flashlight available. No issue if you are arriving in the daylight of course. I would recommend that Vincenzo buy a sheet pan and baking dish for the oven so it is easy to reheat left-overs. The fridge door is incredibly difficult to open. There should be a handle on the side. Mattress is getting old. The right hand side of mattress slopes down and I found myself on the edge of the bed many times through the night. Hubby's side was fine. We still slept well.

• Elena (9/5): Excellent apartment - Excellent location, comfortable and clean. Well equipped and communication with Vincenzo was easy. The only minor comment I would make is that the outdoor balcony needs some attention, although we didn’t use it due to the weather it needs cleaning as was looking a bit green and dirty in places. Also the door frame of the bedroom needs attention as one side has moisture/mould.

Lovely styling and a great space for a small family of 3. Nice to have the outdoor area too. Had all the facilities we needed. Great communication from Vincenzo and clear instructions for check in, which made getting into the flat super easy. Cosy bathroom but had all you needed. The beds were not super comfy but fine for the five nights we stayed.

• Levijoki (9/5): Enjoyed our stay! - It was a cute little apartment that accommodated three people. One of us slept on the couch which hadn’t been set up. Everything was clean and there were a lot of towels which was really nice. There were air fans that were deeply appreciated even though the weather wasn’t that hot or summery. The WiFi worked well. The bed was nice but too soft for my taste. The host was really nice and communication between us worked great. There’s a possibility for later checkout if the next guests are coming in later. The location of the apartment is ok. It’s really close to Portobello market and the beautiful Notting Hill streets. We took the underground and used the Notting hill gate station. It was 800m walk. It is about the same walk to the other station, Ladbroke grove. The street outside was quite peaceful and there wasn’t any unnecessary noise from that.

• Sarah (10/5): Fantastic stay! Location cannot be beat for Notting Hill / Portobello Road! - Fantastic location! The apartment has everything you need to make it a home-base for touring London. Easy 10-15 min stroll to Notting Hill Gate tube and multiple bus lines even closer! Short walk to the grocery shops for everything you’ll need. Traveling as a mother and teen, we had plenty of space without feeling cramped! Having a full kitchen, dishwasher, and laundry facilities was very helpful. Appreciated the stocked breakfast area with cereal, jam, tea, and Nespresso pods with some extra milk pods in the fridge. Comfortable and clean! The hosts were responsive and friendly. Loved everything! Folks with mobility differences should be mindful it is a third floor walk up! We didn’t mind!
• Sallie (8/5): Comfy, quiet . - We could walk to Kensington Park and Hyde park. which are my favorite places in London There was coffee available, a nexpro with pods which had not been listed and so was a nice bonus. There were also coffee shops, pastry shops and a wonderful brassreie close by The Underground Station Notting Hill Gate was was a .4 miles walk and got us to all destinations. We walked around london each day for 10 miles and so the walk to the 3rd floor reminded me how much I had walked during the day
• Julie (10/5): Special and charming! - We liked everything about NHAC especially the location! The apartment is just off Portobello Rd, at what we think to be, the right end of it. The convenience to access everything/everywhere, improved our holiday, 100%. There is the short meander along the gorgeous streets and character homes to the circle line tube but even better and quicker is the 2 minute stroll to a bus stop which for most places, took us door to door! Just outside of the welcoming wooden door to the apartment are so many wonderful wine bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, Portobello Markets, the Brand Museum, everything! The apartment itself was perfect for the two of us; cute, clean, bright, with a calm, colour scheme and comfortable furniture. The hosts provide adequate hanging space with shelves and ample wide drawers in the dresser. There is a short flight of stairs but they are safe and accessible. We loved the Juliette balcony, with the open French doors so that we could hear the sounds of Notting Hill; laughter, busy lives and activity. However, there is excellent and effective sound-proofing to block out street noise when the door is closed. The spacious back patio was also a bonus to enjoy the London Spring sunshine. The hosts also provide a thoughtful basket of staples on arrival such as tea, coffee, cereal, sugar and a load of milk caps in the fridge. There is good quality hand and body soap, fresh, crisp linen and towels, long length mirrors and modern crockery. Each power point has USB chargers which were so appreciated! Vincenzo kept very good communication, provided us with informative and visual instructions and it was so convenient to have a lock-box system of check-in/out. As you can tell, we loved our Notting Hill 'experience' because of this apartment ♥ Thank you!

• Kristian (10/5): Exceptional - Location. The necessary couple of minutes walk from public transport is compensated by the originality of the neighborhood. The apartment style is modern and bright but still maintains the London feeling. Complementary coffee, tea bags and muesli help in the morning.
• Samantha (9/5): Cracking little studio in the heart of Notting Hill, comfy and quiet. - It was clean and comfortable, loved how all the appliances were cleverly hidden. Having a washing machine/dryer was great.
• Terina (10/5): Lovely for a longer stay. - We loved our stay! The flat was comfortable, very quiet and an easy walk to and from the tube. We felt very safe and enjoyed exploring the area. We also appreciated being able to check in early. Only one set of keys made it tricky if you don’t stay together. Also would suggest more toilet roll for longer stays.
