En realidad era una habitación y separada por una cortina, había una cama doble. Para bajar a la cocina había que pasar por ahí. La ducha estaba dentro de la habitación.

• Crystal (9/5): Beautiful bedroom overlooking garden! - We chose this location b/c we thought it was on the Ramblas overlooking the river but there was obviously a mix-up b/c we received a message saying our apt was in a different location. Unfortunately, we did not read that message b/c we were doing the Ironman in Calella, so we got to the address indicated on the apt booking and contacted the owner who said that she had sent a message that our location was different (a 12 min walk further out from the historic downtown). This was a surprise for us and we were concerned b/c we have had a bad experience before with renting a place and the place we rented was not what we were given. We walked to the new address and were very disappointed that the apt was below ground floor (basement) and the entry area to the building was smelling musty/mouldy but the suite was a 2 level so only the kitchen and living room were below ground while the bedroom was gorgeous and overlooked a garden. Overall, we LOVED our stay after we got over the initial concern. The location is fine. It's an easy 10 minute walk to everything. The suite is beautiful! We loved the apartment and it was a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you could need or want! The bedroom is gorgeous! The bathrooms (2) are nice and the kitchen is well-appointed. It was also very clean, tidy and had brochures and information about Girona. See above.

Initially we found the apartment quirky but very quickly fell in love with the comforts and character.

• Paul (10/5): Unique apartment in the heart of Girona perfect for a couple friends and their bikes. - This apartment was perfect for my friend and I who were in Girona for a bike-focused vacation. Location is unmatched with a great shopping district about a block away. The apartment feels like someone could actually live there as it had a well stocked kitchen, nice furniture, comfy beds. I love places like this where it's not a big-business rather someone who simply owns an apartment for renting. Someone met us to hand off the keys and they were very helpful with my questions. Great air con as it was July when I visited and it was hot outside but super comfortable inside. I would reccomend this place again and would be happy to rent it on my next trip to Girona One of the bed rooms is a loft space that is separated from the master bedroom by a curtain. So it feels like a satellite bedroom and not very private at all. This was fine for me and my friend and I are close and were happy to share the space. The shower is in the main bedroom area and not in the common area which is normal for apartments in Europe. I did not mind. The main floor has a toilet half bath and that is what I used while my friend took the master suite with the bathroom and shower. I simply showered in his room and it was not an issue at all.

Owner was very responsive to messages and facilitated early entry to drop bag off, great when they were bikes! Had everything we needed , well priced. We didn’t eat in premises except breakfast as there were loads of restaurants close by. Ringing of bells from cathedral audible all night but ear plugs would solve that.

• Jane (10/5): Fabulous apartment in lovely Girona - Fabulous two level apartment. Will sleep 4 but as shower is in the main bedroom there could be a privacy issue. Bedroom has shutters and overlooks a garden.Bed is comfortable. The whole apartment is exceptionally clean and the well thought out first level living area has a well equipped kitchen. There is an upstairs toilet and downstairs toilet with sink. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would definitely stay again. Restaurant/ bars in immediate area and only a five minute walk through the lovely, historic, old town to the central area filled with bars, cafes and restaurants. Nothing
• Francine (9/5): Superb - This accommodation is in a great location at one end of the old city. We were able to walk everywhere including the train station. The loft bedroom that looks out on to the court yard was lovely. We didn't prepare any meals at the apartment during our stay, however the kitchen looked to be well equipped. It was clean and comfortable. The shower head kept falling off it's holder which was quite annoying. This would take no time to fix and improve the stay rating to outstanding. There is just a curtain between the two "bedroom" areas. This was not a problem during our stay, but could be depending on the make up of the group staying at this apartment.

We were able to prepare meals easily, in the modern kitchen that had all the utensils and equipment we required. Grocery stores are nearby. We loved the large windows and garden view. Across the street is a wonderful pizza shop and nearby restaurants were plenty. Historic Girona is interesting and we walked the cobbles every evening. We rode our bikes every day and were amazed at how gracious the drivers were. What a beautiful city and area!

Spacious well appointed suite, quiet at night and comfortable bed. Owners were very helpful and communicative. Could use a wifi speaker and water heater should be turned down, hot water was scaldingly hot. Also washing machine has broken start button.
• Douglas (9/5): A space to match to atmosphere if a most lovely town. - The apartment was simply beautiful. The beds were comfortable, design first rate in an old building, good internet, and close to town for walking. We particularly enjoyed the view from the bedroom and the high vaulted ceiling that gave a feeling of added spaciousness. A memorable place to stay in a most engaging town. The kitchen has all necessary appliances and utensils but lacks basics like salt, pepper. oil, etc. necessary for utilizing the space to its fullest. Finding the unit and making contact was a challenge as we did not have internet nor phone service upon arrival.
• Nancy (5/5): Passable - Communication in advance of our arrival was excellent. When we had to change one aspect of our reservation fairly last minute, the host was accommodating (with an additional fee which was expected). Black out doors were very effective. Location was walkable to all sites in Girona that we wanted to visit. We notified host in advance, as requested, as to when we would show up to leave our bags--understanding we would likely have to wait until we could have the unit. Ultimately, we we waited 20-30 minutes, with no communication for the first 10-15, until Fina arrived. We were greeted by a less than warm welcome. There was an attempt to negotiate different terms of payment, involving canceling Booking.com, which we declined, leaving us confused. In terms of the unit, renters should be aware that the cathedral bells ring frequently, including through the night. Sleeping quarters are up the stairs, with first the bed that overlooks the unit, then a light cloth curtain, followed by a bedroom (no door except the cloth curtain) that had a toilet with a door, but sink and shower were part of the bedroom and do not afford much privacy beyond the cloth curtain. (Downstairs has a toilet and sink in a room with a door. Also downstairs was a kitchen and living room area.) We had chosen the unit because it advertised a clothes washer. We quickly learned the washer was not operating correctly and there was not going to be a fix while we were there.
• Chris (9/5): Lovely apartment close to Girona old town. - Nice renovation. Plenty of room. Comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery etc. Large fridge freezer. Toiletries provided. Very close to the old town. Would have liked instructions on using kitchen equipment eg microwave, washing machine.

I would definitely stay here again of I return to Girona. - We experienced travel delays and our host was very understanding in arranging to meet us (much) later than planned on the first night of our stay. A user guide for the washer dryer would have helped us. The rain on our last day was very heavy and we needed to dry a large amount of clothing quickly.
