Guest Reviews
- Catherine (8/5): - The location was close to most places. It was very noisy. On a main road without double glazed windows. Very difficult to sleep well.
- Burgess (9/5): - The location was very central! A tad noisy as warned my the owners but nothing a couple of whiskey's couldn't fix haha
- James (8/5): Good stay in central location - Comfortable. Good communication from host. Lots of good restaurants near by. Shower room space is difficult due to large cupboard for tumble dryer
- Kim (7/5): It was ok but I wouldn’t go back - The beds and couch were very comfortable The bathroom was very awkward to use and the shower was not clean . Very hard to get a large suitcase up the stairs
- Lisa (10/5): - Location was great, small walk to Kings Cross for restaurants and shops. Unit was clean and tidy
- Jean pierre (8/5): -
- Ruth (7/5): The accommodation was in a great location to explore and enjoy Sydney. - The location was good. The sheets and towels need an update! They were thin and worn. The dark bathroom felt a bit grubby.
- Eoin (8/5): Excellent overall and fhe owner very kindly let us leave our bags until 12:30 as we had an afternoon flight. - It was very clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well equipped and included a Nespresso coffee maker and pods and plenty of the bags, sugar and condiments. Location was good. We walked to Sydney Opera House via the Botanical Gardens in approx 25 minutes A minor gripe; The bathroom was very dimly lit.
- Robin (10/5): -
- tamira (7/5): - Was alleen jammer dat de badkamer erg donker is en de verlichting zwak als je je scheren maar verders niets op aan te merken
- Marian (7/5): -
- Juan (8/5): -
- Olivia (5/5): Convenient - I liked the location, easy to walk to places It wasn’t overly that clean, I noticed I had issues breathing and was coughing only when I was in the apartment, there was small things that just weren’t clean, beds were quite hard and uncomfortable
- Aine (8/5): - Location is excellent. The external noise didn't bother us as we were awake from when traffic noise would start, but if you wanted a sleep in that wouldn't be possible Very close proximity to neighbours I can almost hear them breathing in the next kitchen as the kitchen windows are facing each other
- Kevin (8/5): - Great location close to public transport and walk to Botanic Gardens and the harbour precinct. Traffic noise at nighy
- Djordje (9/5): - Great location, clean and comfortable.
- Lee NZ (8/5): - I liked the layout of the apartment, the kitchen facilities, the location, the washing machine,, the comfy bed in main room, the shower and the balcony. Communications with Jacqui was excellent and it was a very comfortable stay with everything I needed. Between Kings Cross and the city so I walked everywhere. Bed in second room needs repair.
- Robina (9/5): Enjoyable. Very handy to transport - Location
Balcony
Spacious A few suggestions: wall mirrors in bedrooms
Side table and bed side lamp in bedroom 2
Check out mattress in bedroom by bathroom, right hand side is very uncomfortable
- Olga (9/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Lovely comfortable apartment. Walking distance to where we needed to be. Car parking available at an extra cost but good - Great location Traffic noise which we expected
- Elisabete (9/5): - Ótima localização.
Anfitrião prestável e simpático.
Apartamento espaçoso e bem apetrechado.
- Debbie (9/5): - Ligging, schoon, netjes
- Philippe (8/5): - Emplacement top
Équipement de qualité
Grand appartement Le bruit. Étant situé devant une grande route au premier étage, les fenêtres des chambres devraient être changées pour un double vitrage.
- Natasha (10/5): - Perfect location, beautiful spacious apartment. Was perfect for our family of 4
- Angela (9/5): - The location is excellent! Walking distance to train station, shopping area, museums, bus stops nearby, and a supermarket a block away. Jacqui is a great host and very responsive. The beds are comfortable and the apartment had good space for my 8 year old and partner. I really liked the airiness of the bedrooms. Hospitable touches throughout, like a multi charger that can handle all different international plugs. We stayed for 9 nights and the commuter traffic noise is noticeable (honking arguments before 7am). Jacqui provides earplugs, but unfortunately earplugs don't fit our ears well. We sleep with noise machines, but even with those cranked up, the noise could be heard. The bathroom is really incongruous with the flat as it's all black in contrast to the light and airy apartment. It's really quite dark and an odd configuration; it was okay once we got used to it, but it took some getting used to.
- Komang (8/5): Very good -
- Vivian (8/5): We would recommend family stay here. The host is nice and communication was smooth. We had no problem with any maintenan - The location is very convenient and 15 15-minute walk to the King's Cross. They have a big fridge and coffee machine. It was a bit noisy on the weekend but it was not that bad. We kept the balcony door closed all the time.
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Char (8/5): Overall a good stay apart from the dark bathroom. Some traffic noise, but not a problem for us. Jacqui was great. - Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Good location for access to waterfront and transit. Host was very accommodating and responsive Bathroom was very dark and needs brighter lighting due to black tiles. It also lacked places to hang towels and store toiletries.
- Thao (6/5): Good location, nice host with detailed instructions and support my family during our stay - Location The mattress was sagged, not comfortable. The light in bathroom was not bright. The bad smell was from decorative pillows/ carpet in living room.
- Xin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cory (10/5): Amazing! - Perfect location!
Easy to get into!
Host was so accommodating before we arrived really appreciate everything done
- Williams (10/5): Jacqui was amazing allowed us to check in way earlier and also leave late due to late flight - Nothing
- Taylor (8/5): Very good -
- Longina (10/5): Great stay in center of Sydney. - The location was perfect, right in the middle of the city, close to Opera and Harbour Bridge. The street noise was high even with the close windows.
- Robert (8/5): Very good - While it was a little noisy and we were pre-warned of this, the location was perfect for us. There was food and transportation within easy walking distance. The bathroom was very dark, no air conditioning in 1 bedroom. Mattress in 2nd bedroom not comfortable. No trash bags provided and no broom.
- Angelyne (9/5): Superb - The apartment was great! Jacqui was also really lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Right next to a main road so was quite loud and could hear everything below. Earplugs were provided though!
- Ebrahim (7/5): Good -
- Daniela (8/5): Very good - Apartment is located in a very good location, walking distance to several tourist attractions, as Australian Museum, Botanic Gardens, Darlinghurst rd, Art Gallery, etc.
Apartment had everything what we needed (towels, shampoo, earplugs, oil, salt, etc.), has a nice decoration, it was clean and the host gave us all the information that we needed. Also, she extended the check out as we had a late flight. Highly recommend this place if you want to be a tourist in Sydney. Apartment is in busy corner so is quite noisy, specially at nigh. They provide earplugs thou. Shower needs a deep scrub, overall it is clean.
- Raveen (10/5): Weekend trip in Sydney - We really enjoyed our stay at Jacqui’s apartment, the location was central and the apartment was super comfortable. We really loved the coastal beachy aesthetic inside. It was furnished really well and the beds were very comfortable.
Jacqui was also very responsive, accomodating to our requests and a great host overall. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Sydney and will definitely book this place again.
- Nirmal (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location, short stops when taking public transport. Fairly walkable distance to major tourist spots like Opera House (if you have the time). Apartment itself is spacious and easily housed our family of 4. All amenities worked fine and well provided for. Host was really helpful and responsive. Great balcony as well. High ceilings as well, rooms felt very spacious as well. No real complaints, just that there were quite a few unclaimed postal deliveries such as magazines and stuff in the entrance.
- Sue (9/5): Superb - The location was great close to all trains etc Carrying the bags up stairs
- Georgia (9/5): Superb - Very responsive host and great location to walk to main tourist attractions.
- Joanna (9/5): Amazing location and host - Superb location and fabulous host! Grateful for host’s responsiveness and willingness to accommodate to our request to drop our luggage way before the check in time. Need more lighting in the bathroom in view of all black tiles.
- Donna (9/5): Superb - Very clean, tidy and well presented A bit noisy from traffic, but the host was upfront about this and was very accommodating about the noise.
- Amir (7/5): Good -
- Laine (8/5): It was a lovely, spacious apartment and good value for money - Very lovely, host was lovely. Host allowed late check out which was very kind. It was noisy but we were provided ear plugs to sleep with
- Mcconnell (10/5): Central location, nice apartment with balcony (part view of harbour bridge!) & air conditioner. - Easy access to the location and keys is collect in safe. No issues. Maybe some spare toilet paper as only 1 roll on the holder, couldn't spot any backups.
- Suzanne (7/5): Pleasant enough stay. However would consider options for next time. - Location
Pleasant apartment
Comfortable furniture
Balcony Bathroom was not user friendly. Too dark, no where to put soap etc in shower and too small. Second bedroom had no easy access to power points, no ac, no fan, no mirror. Headrests on lounge don't stay up. No coffee no milk no sugar.
- Barnett (9/5): Convenient, clean and comfortable but can have traffic noise. - Very clean and well prepared. The host ,Jacque, was very responsive. There was no iron and she bought one and iron board straight over. The area is on a main road so is noisy but we all slept well. Good beds. Close to city and transport. Supermarket around the corner. It is on a main road so noisy so need to be aware of this. Jacqui supplied ear plugs but we did not need them.
