Tomasz (9/5): Well equipped apartment, 30 minutes from the city center - Comfortable apartment in a nice residential building in a quiet neighborhood. Efficient AC with separate units for every room. A spacious bathroom with a window and a corner for clothes hanger. Two balconies, which I didn't use because of the heat outside. Nothing about the apparment itself (well, I miss a cutting board in the kitchen). Although the close neighborhood is nice, the area close to Cornelia subway station, which probably will be your transit point, is dirty and upleasant. The lack of nice places for dining in this area means you have to travel a lot to the city center. The metro ride to Termini station takes ~15 min. A walk to Cornelia station from the apartment takes another 5-7 minutes. Platforms at Conelia are very deep under the surface, so you need 3-5 minutes to get there from the ground entrance. You can also take a bus from Cornelia (lines 46 and 916: direct to the center or to Trastevere with a connection at Piazza della Rovere stop).
