Poder comer frente al mar haciendo parte del lugar con los animales presentes es algo indescriptible. recomendado 100% la verdad todo me gusto el lugar supero mis expectativas

We stayed at the Cabana 1 and it's the most unique experience falling asleep with the waves and wind (quite loud but we loooved it). It's warm but with the wind and fand it's totally fine. Be ready for a once in a lifetime experience living at peace wit ht ocean and the jungle :)

Also AC in the room wasn’t working so well. Finally, I would recommend verifying all the prices for Tayrona in advance, because it wasn’t clear with the driver of the shuttle.

• GUTIERREZ GIRALDO (9/5): un hotel espectacular para relajarse y aislarse de todo. no hay musica. - la alimentación es muy buena muy variada. hay platos para todo el mundo. el hotel no es de rumba es literal para desconectarse cero musica plan recargase y disfrutar del entorno natural. muy limpio. siento que el servicio en el resturante no esta mal. pero podrian ser un poquito mas atentos y con mas calidad con el cliente. siento que por el precio que uno paga no esta demás sentirse mejor atendido. hay dos picinas espectaculares. pero mejoraria muchisimo que almenos cada media hora fuera un mesero a venderle uno algo creo que haria que se sintiera mucho mas la presencia del hotel.

• Kristin (9/5): Tolle Lage direkt am Meer - Die Lage ist großartig - man ist direkt am Strand und hat seine Ruhe. Wenn man nicht am Strand liegen oder baden möchte (was wegen Kaimanen nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert ist) kann man dies auch sehr gut am Pool. Die Aussicht vom Restaurant ist fantastisch. Auch die Lage zum Tayrona Nationalpark ist super. Per öffentlichen Bus, der direkt von der Hauptstraße fährt (es gibt keine Haltestelle - man wartet dort einfach, der Bus sieht einen und hält dann) ist man super schnell und sehr günstig am Haupteingang des Tayrona NP. Das Zimmer und Bad sind groß und das Bett bequem. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Für den Preis hätte ich mir auch ein besseres Frühstück gewünscht. Das Frühstück ist sehr spärlich in der Auswahl. Vor allem kann es nicht sein, dass man sich entweder ein paar abgezählte Stückchen Obst (das in Kolumbien in Fülle wächst und super günstig ist) oder einen Fruchtsaft entscheiden muss.

• Sas Le Rouage (10/5): Séjour en famille, mémorable ont droit paisible en parfait accord avec la nature. - Nous avons passé deux nuits et trois jours dans l’hôtel, un voyage en famille avec nos ados des 12 et 14 ans. L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour visiter le parc Tayrona qui se trouve à seulement 10 minutes en voiture. Le lieu est tout simplement splendide, l’hôtel s’intègre parfaitement dans le paysage et dans la nature, le personnel est au petits soins. Le restaurant et le bar tout était délicieux et à des prix correct. Plusieurs piscines disponibles et toutes dans un endroit différent de l’hôtel, ce qui permet d’avoir des l’intimité et cette sensation d’être seul au monde face à la nature. Séjour qui aura marqué notre voyage en Colombie. Je recommande sans hésiter.. L’humidité dans la chambre, mais ce n’est pas lié à l’hôtel, mais tout simplement à l’endroit où il est situé en pleine forêt. La plage ne peut pas être réellement utilisée, mais c’est comme ça dans toute la région et on le savait avant.

The staff were very pleasant, but sometimes more interested in chatting with each other instead of checking that customers are waiting for their attention. • Tom (9/5): - Best views we have ever had at a hotel! Location was beautiful and food was delicious. Loads of wildlife to see from the pool and from the sea view rooms which was amazing. These are small complaints but for the price of the hotel they are worth mentioning. I think the service could be improved to match the high price of the hotel. For example, water/tea/coffee should be offered in the room, as well as better toiletries (e.g. body lotion). We ordered lunch to the pool and our plates were left beside us for the rest of the day. I also booked a massage and when I got to the spa, it was 6000 COP more than what was advertised on the spa menu in the hotel so I had to pay extra. The masseuse told me that the hotel’s menu was outdated by 2 years.

• Dario (9/5): Beautiful stay surrounded by nature with stunning ocean views - We had a fantastic stay in this location surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views that are truly rare to find. One of the best parts of the experience is waking up, eating and spending the whole day with a sea view. Guests can also access the facilities of the neighboring properties within the same complex, including two swimming pools and a spa, which are very relaxing and comfortable. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the same goes for the drinks. The staff was very kind and helpful. Considering this is a three-star hotel, we had a very positive experience overall and no major complaints. The only downside was related to communication regarding transfers. We had previously requested and confirmed transfers with the hotel, but upon arrival they turned out not to be properly confirmed and were more expensive than expected. This created some unnecessary stress while trying to organize the transportation.

• Jan (7/5): Dem Meeresrauschen lauschen und entspannen - Hier zahlt man vor allem für die Lage! Meeresblick! Rauschendes Meer. Privatstrand. Das ist schon was besonderes. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Der Transport vom Hotel zum Flughafen war günstig. Bei mir hat das WLAN gut funktioniert. Man muss halt beachten, dass jeder Bereich auf der Hotelanlage einen eigenen WLAN-Namen hat, aber mit dem selben Passwort. Man konnte selbstständig die eigene Wasserflasche auffüllen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, ließ sich aber schlecht kühlen. Die Fenster waren alle undicht, sodass Insekten leicht ins Zimmer kommen konnten. Das Zimmer bietet nicht besonders viel Privatssphäre. Wenn die Gardinen nicht richtig zu sind, kann man von zwei Seiten total ins Zimmer reinschauen. Besonders unangehm ist das Badezimmer. Auch hier sind von zwei Seiten Fenster vorhanden, die zwar einen Holz-Sichtschutz haben, dieser Sichtschutz lässt sich aber nicht verschließen. Personen die unmittelbar von draußen am Bad vorbeilaufen, können totat reinschauen. Erst recht wenn es draußen dunkel ist und im Bad Licht an ist. Das fand ich sehr unangehehm. Die Suite lohnt sich nicht. Ein Standardzimmer mit Meeresblick ist besser und hat auch den Vorteil, dass die Bäder keine Fenster haben, somit kann keiner reinschauen und man spart ca. 50 Euro pro Nacht und man ist näher am Restaurant. Ich hatte bei meiner Hinreise drum gebeten, mich von meiner damaligen Unterkunft, die nur 5km entfernt lag, abzuholen, leider erhielt ich keine Antwort. Der Strand sah nicht so schön aus, wie auf den Bildern, er war voller Geäste.

Muita natureza, animais livres, estrutura como restaurante e piscina e diversas áreas para descanso e contemplação. O café da manhã é maravilhoso, com opções diversas. O restaurante serve outras refeições muito boas. O quarto é confortável. O banheiro tinha um chão muito escorregadio, tornando-se perigoso. O chuveiro tinha aquecimento por painéis solares entretanto a água era muito pouca e difícil de esquentar. A hospedagem não tem acessibilidade, por exemplo, para chegar ao restaurante há uma escada longa.

• Paulina (8/5): - El lugar es muy bonito. Está ubicado en un lugar bastante excepcional donde se junta el mar y el río. Las habitaciones son cómodas, ienen una preciosa vista, la comida es muy buena y las instalaciones del Hotel, incluyendo el spa también muy bonitas e integradas a la naturaleza. El personal que atiende tiene niveles muy disímiles. Es evidente que no hay un estándar común, por lo que si bien uno se encuentra con personas amables y más dispuestas a entregar un buen servicio hay otras que claramente tienen un aproximación muy deficitaria a un concepto de servicio al huésped (pobre manejo de información turística y del propio Hotel, demora en las respuestas, trato poco amable, poca respuesta lenta y algo displicente para dar solución pronta a requerimientos que se solicitan, por dar algunos ejemplos). Por otra parte, los servicios que ofrece el Hotel a través de su página no estaban todos disponibles. En nuestro caso, una de las razones de elección del Hotel, fue la posibilidad de tomar clases de yoga, lo cual no fue posible ninguno de los días que estuvimos ahí. Solicitamos como alternativa que nos prestaran la sala de yoga para poder practicar por nuestra cuenta, pero eso tampoco fue posible, por lo que las fotos que aparecen de la infraestructura de yoga en el perfil del Hotel ni siquiera la vimos. En consecuencia, el precio es bastante elevado para el nivel de servicio que se ofrece. Estuvimos luego en otro Hotel de la zona con un estándar de servicio de muy buena calidad y en un entorno muy bonito y acogedor a la mitad del valor que Barlovento.

The menu is good enough for a couple of days but there are nice restaurants nearby. For elderly people it is a little bit annoying to take the long stairs.

The food was good value and tasty. We did not want to leave. If I had to chose some areas of improvement it would be to offer some filtered water and more shade by the pools.
