• Eva Boudry (8/5): - Leuk dat we een terras hadden, vooral voor savonds want overdag veel te warm. Er was airco. Ruime badkamer, ruim keukentje. Heel duidelijke communicatie via whatsapp over hoe we aan de sleutel konden geraken en de weg naar het appartement eens in het gebouw. Als er vragen of problemen waren kon je snel en gemakkelijk sturen via whatsapp en er kwam snel antwoord. Heel aangenaam contact. Dicht bij een treinstation waar je voor een heel lage prijs naar Rome centrum kon reizen. Naast het appartement is er een vrij grote supermarkt wat handig is als je eens in het appartement zelf wil eten en voor drank en ontbijt. In de buurt zelf is er niet heel veel te beleven. Er zijn stadsparkjes en wel wat eetgelegenheden maar voor de rest niet zo veel.

• Andres (9/5): A very nice 4-night stay at a well-equipped apartment - I had a very pleasant four night stay at Green Holiday Penthouse. Host Gabriele was very cordial and gave clear instructions on Booking on how to access keys and get into the apartment (including photos), which really helped because I arrived by subway during a heavy rain near nightfall and I was not able to get my maps app to work (the subway station is 2 blocks west and two blocks north). I had questions about operating the apartment's wi-fi and water heater, and Gabriele responded to me quickly and clearly. The kitchen was well equipped which I liked because I fixed many of my own meals. What I especially appreciated was the elevator (the apartment is on the 7th level and I was carrying three bags at the end of a 45-day Italy trip), and the penthouse terrace on what turned out to be four sunny days in March. I would definitely stay here again. Minor note: The apartment could use a few more plates, bowls and cups as well as paper towels. I needed to wash dishes right after meals to assure they could air dry and be ready to use by the next meal.
• Jani (1/5): The most horrible place I have ever seen, and the owners are equally horrible, so STAY AWAY!!! - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It is by far the worst property I have even seen; plainly horrible in every way. The hosts are equally horrible: utterly disrespectful, unfriendly, uncooperative, terribly cheap, self-centered, self-serving, and they were also repetitively lying! STAYING IN THIS PROPERTY WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IN EVERY WAY. I ADVISE TRAVELERS TO STAY AWAY FROM IT!!! It is also totally misrepresented onthe website. 1. This is NOT A PENTHOUSE and NOT ROOFTOP as they misleadingly call it. There is another story above this apartment and the very loud noises coming from there are incredibly annoying. 2. The apartment does NOT HAVE THE VIEW that the hosts' photos imply. They must have taken thom from the roof. The real views are walls of the neighboring condominiums, some of which are so close that they can watch you in your bed, since this unit has also NO CURTAINS! 3. This property is VERY FAR FROM THE HISTORIC CITY CENTER! It takes 45 to 55 minutes to reach the historic center by metro, bus or train. In most cases, you need to take two of them: metro + bus, or metro + train, or bus + train. 4. This unit is MUCH SMALLER THAN THE MISLEADING PHOTOS IMPLY. The kitchen is so small you can hardly move in it and the kitchen table is so small that two people can barely sit there. Also, this apartment has no living room, so you will have hard time living there even for one day, since there is literally no space. 5. The owners keep this apartment UNHEATED to save themselves money. In winter time, you will freeze to death there. Since it has northern exposure, also the sun never reaches it in winter time. It took three days of my complaining and requests for heating before the owners finally had the heating in the apartment turned on and the radiators started getting warm. Since the apartment has obviously not been heated for a very long time before that - maybe never - it took another three days to start slightly warming up. I was freezing there for 10 days! 6. The equipment is very cheap and so scarce that there are not even the basic necessities in the kitchen. You literally need to bring your own cutting knife to prepare your food because there is none in the apartment! The owners did not deliver one also after I had asked for it. Also, there was an old, worn out, dirty coffee machine with a damaged electric cord, partially taped together by a duct tape. When I asked for a coffee machine that I could use without the danger of being electrocuted, it took them four days to deliver it (and they did so only after I was urging them for three days). The new one was the smallest and cheapest coffee maker I've ever seen. It was literally as big as my palm and produced one mug of coffee. I took a photo of it with my palm next to it for the size comparison. 7. The owners do not care for anything but to get as much money from you as possible and deliver hardly anything for it. They don't fix things, either, but they do praise themselves daily in their messages about how attentive, cooperative, caring and prompt they are in resolving any issues, NONE OF WHICH IS TRUE! Their own deeds repetitively bely their words. It took them four days to deliver that coffee machine and towels, which could be done within four hours, and they only did it after I was demanding it for three days. 8. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLY OVERPRICED! You can get AN EQUALLY BIG OR BIGGER APARTMENT IN THE HISTORIC CENTER FOR THE SAME PRICE as this one costs that is an hour drive away! 9. Owners have no respect and consideration of your privacy and rights! THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME AND INSPECT THE APARTMENT WHILE I WAS RENTING IT (!) to see what was missing, after I had asked for a knife, a safe coffee machine, and usable towels.
