• pieta (6/5): Ok, clean. Good sized rooms. Noisy. - Clean, good parking. Nice staff. Room was spacious There was a letter on the desk once we got to our room advising us there was construction nearby and we could request to be moved to another part of the motel. We decided to stay put as it was only 1 night and construction hours were from 7am. But construction noise started just after 5 am. This is outside the motel's control, we realise. But, it really ruined our stay. We were very tired for our drive home and impacted our day.

Comfy lounge, beds, great hot powerful shower with lovely amenities. Well-stocked kitchen, tea/ coffee and biscuits. Short walk to several restaurants. Lovely friendly staff at desk. Literally nothing I can think of

Paid extra for a suite and directly facing the construction. Party travelling with us were in cheaper rooms that weren't facing the apartment build.

• Erin (6/5): - The location is really good as is the value for money We had late check out for our stay, meaning check out was 11am. At 10.01 on the morning of check out we had housekeeping knocking loudly on our room door and attempting to open it. Once I went to the door they asked why we had not yet checked out as it was now “past check out” despite having late check out and it only being 1 minute past standard check out. Once saying to the staff that we had the late check out they said that they did not have it on their record and were seemingly annoyed to have to come back to the room in an hour. They were not apologetic about this misunderstanding.

Ample bedding and heater which was great for the Canberra cold Car parks are small and with some work being done and some parks unavailable if you got back late you were left with difficult parking and some very minor cleaning like vent in bathroom. • John (5/5): Very basic accommodation- 3 star - Great location. We seemed to be 10mins away from everywhere we needed to be during our stay. Food market is literally a 2min walk, just behind carpark. Warm room, has a/c. Westfield's shopping is down the road. Perfect location.. I really don't feel this is a 4 star hotel. It's quite dated and really needs some upgrading. I would definitely say this is a 3 star hotel. Hard to open blinds as they were falling off the rails and getting stuck, Keetle had black gunk at the bottom, I purchased my own kettle from shops up the road. Shower/bathroom is very run down, didn't feel comfy to use. Cleaning of room was questionable. Had to ask cleaners to vacuum and also provide extra toilet paper. No lifts in the building, so be prepared to carry your bags up stairs if you are on 2nd floor. Would be good if they had chrome-cast to stream netflix etc, on TV. All in all, it's very very basic accommodation.

• Rob (3/5): Basidally, the whole property felt sad & let down. It is nesperately in need of a renovation. - It was a place to sleep for 1 night. Ramada is an internationally known hotel chain. A such I expected better. The room was clean but worn. The fittings were dated and the whole feeling of the roo was tired. Stairs & hallway carpet were worn, particularly the step treads.
