• RICHARD (9/5): A lovely apartment in a great central location - The balcony and view are excellent. The location couldn't be any better. We've never stayed in such a quiet apartment. Not a sound apart from pigeons in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is a light and airy space. The apartment is at the top of the building and there are 9 flights of stairs to contend with (particularly with heavy cases). It didn't get easier as the week went on.

• Jack (9/5): Absolutely divine! - The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The location is exquisite - right in the heart of the old town (we barely left the area). Also gives you backstreet access to Tarragona's superior beaches (Arrabassada). Villa is clean, cool, comfortable and nicely finished. Slightly musty smell in the bathroom (a minor complaint!) Maybe could have done with a bit more worktop space and a few more pans in the kitchen

• Susan (10/5): Superb,authentic,modern apartment with lots of great extras - The space is really beautiful and well laid out. The bed was really comfy. The balcony and view are just amazing. Great location to see the best of Tarragona Bedroom window blinds need replacing as they don’t cover the windows and have holes.

• Chris (7/5): A private, large apartment for 2, with a great view and close to resturants and sights. - The location is within the east wall of the old city perimeter. It's location is perfect for local restuarants and main historic buildings. The top floor apartment also had a great sea view and is large enough to sit on recliner chairs, together with a small table for your refreshements. The airconditioning worked well, and not overly noisy, with one in the lounge and another in the bedroom, neither overly noisy. No one met us, we had to visit an office to collect the keys. The taxi wouldn't take us to the office due to the old city road layout (he said), so we had to walk from the east city wall entrance to the office, then from the office to the apartment. (Later we learnt the western wall is nearer the office.) Communication was via text (through Booking.com). There was no practical sun screen over the balcony so you cannot sit there during the hot sun, which is most of the day. The photos implied a welcome pack showing a bottle of wine; there was no wine or welcome pack, which we expected for the amount we paid for the apartment. There were no washing machine/dishwasher tablets, and no kitchen roll paper. There was no information pack with special hints about where to go, where to dine and what to see. There was one medium sized bathroom towel each to last our 8 day stay. The single kitchen tea towel was about 30cm x 40cm and was poor at drying anything. Upon departure a text asked that we wash all the dishes and remove all our rubbish, again something unexpected for the price and not explained before making the booking. Due to the main railway line hugging the beach you walk via one of two entrances, a tunnel or bridge. It takes about 20 minutes. One parasol was provided, not two as mentioned in another review, and there were no beach chairs provided. You need a good sun-blooking parasol as the sun is strong UV-9 whilst we were on the beach. As for the 76 steps up 5 flights, it is not for everyone so bear that in mind, but the view is the reward.
• Catherine (9/5): Tarragona what a Treat - Very Beautifully decorated apartment with magnificent view. Spacious and very well equipped. Excellent location for local restaurants and cathedral. There was no mention of the very steep stairs which would be an issue for elderly or less fit guests. We managed but it was difficult to get suitcases up and down. That aside we would definitely return, just with less luggage :)
• Sofia (8/5): Very good - Beautiful views and spacious. It was a bit dirty, the sofa has visible stains and the bed throw smell dusty like it hasn’t been washed for a very long time. The balcony doors didn’t close which was a bit concerning as someone could get into the flat.
• Linda (9/5): Beautiful apartment - Beautiful apartment with a fabulous view over the bay. Very clean and modern with original features too. Good location in the old town Be aware that it is on the 5th floor with no lift (74 steps) which I don't think is mentioned in the listing. There was a bad smell in the bathroom (drains?) The air con wasn't switched on so we were unable to use it. More towels would have been nice. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, due to the stairs
• Darren (10/5): Incredible apartment with even more incredible views. - The view is incredible, you won't find a more amazing and private spot in Tarragona to enjoy your morning coffee, lunch, or a glass of wine while looking over the sea. The owner of the property is also great. I had a minor issue with the heating/AC and he came over personally to address it. Super friendly and nice and he even gifted me a bottle of wine to compensate for the inconvenience. Picking up the keys at the Unik office was easy and only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Yes, there are 5 flights of stairs to climb, but they are worth it every time. The exposed beams, old brick wall, and overall atmosphere of the apartment is fantastic. Perfect location in Old Town with sights and grocery stores in easy reach, and being on the top floor of the building with an unobstructed view of the sea makes for a quiet and comfortable stay. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

• Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing view, clean, modern, minimalistic, private and very spacious Mediocre ’service’ (the staff wasn’t really present). Considering that the apartment is on the top floor with no elevator, you would expect the staff to bring toiletries, towels etc. but we had to go and pick them up in the office, which was annoying considering the stairs, the heat and the distance from the apartment.
• Erwin (10/5): really nice - The location in the old center of Tarragona, the nearby sea and the nice center. The center was a good place to be. The people were very nice. The view from the apartment was breathtaking. To see this every day was a really nice thing. The combination of the nice city (not too many tourists) and the apartment was one of the best we had had so far.

Freezer are all in - The property is beautiful with panoramic Seaview, very clean, beautifully furnished and location is just by the centre of the town. It’s lavishly furnished with Evri details and historical building, kept it still heritage with the modern twist into your design finished Nothing
• Barbora (9/5): Breathtaking - The apartment is amazing, completely equipped, clean, and with breathtaking view. As people said, the lift to the 5th floor is missing, but given the specifics of the building, its impossible to install.
