susan (5/5): - The property was good but the drains in the bathroom in the club room were smelly on complaining we got a free valet would have thought a discount on the rate would have been more appropriate , the next 2 nights we stayed in a suite as per our booking which was lovely but we could here the people all night thudding around then again at 4.40pm in the morning did not complain but if we had sure we would have got another free valet , however I must say the staff at the hotel in the bar and restaurant and valet went beyond with the most excellent service we have experienced in a long time the hotel are very lucky to have such a great team

We were on level 4. I'm presuming it's not as noisy on a higher level or over the other side but it's definitely not bad if you compare it to accommodation near hindley Street

Kilian (10/5): Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Es war ein fantastischer Aufenthalt. - Das Marriot ist ein tolles modernes Hotel. Das Zimmer hat grosse Fensterfronten. Die Lage im Zentrum von Adelaide ermöglicht die Erkundung der Stadt zu Fuss. Mit dem Tram ist man in einer halben Stunde am Strand. Der Pool ist leider Indoor. Aber das ist eigentlich unwichtig wenn das Meer so nahe ist.

どんなモンタナ (8/5): - トラム駅やBus路線も多くて、公共交通機関を利用しての移動には、大変便利であり、徒歩15分圏内にアデレード駅や美術館、博物館等の各種施設もあります。 Hotelが新しくて、明るい感じも好みでした。また、スタッフの対応もフレンドリーで素晴らしかった。かなり早めの予約で、高級なCLUBRoomを７泊でしたが、三階という低層階の部屋だったのは、少し残念でした。

Maaike (9/5): Super voor een paar dagen Adelaide! - De kamer was erg ruim en de douche was fantastisch! Het ontbijt was lekker, alhoewel het misschien iets overprijsd is. Het zwembad was jammer genoeg erg koud. Het was niet echt een binnenzwembad aangezien de ramen altijd open stonden.
Kilian (10/5): Einfach toll! Auch das Personal war sehr Aufmerksam und sehr freundlich! - Alles! Das schöne Zimmer mit grossen Fenstern! Gute Ausstattung mit edlem Matrial. Wir waren drei Personen. Es wäre schön gewesen wenn ein Bett ein King-Size Bett wäre, anstelle von zwei 1,5 Meter Betten. Aber es hat uns trotzdem super gut gefallen!

Rebecca (10/5): A+++ Great stay at the Marriott - The Marriott is a 5 star hotel in the heart of Adelaide. As soon as you enter you are greeting by a wonderful perfume, signature fragrance of Marriott Adelaide. The staff also greet you and welcome you in and you are taken care a the booking checkin desk. The downstairs bar offers earlybird work drinks and you can immediately walk to some high class restaurants. I stayed in the King room, and this room was in excellent condition and modern, clean and functional. The bed is very comfortable and the inform TV and access to Internet is easy to navigate along with the lights! Finally. I think the selection of the mini bar items is not good enough, and the small packets of chips are charges out at $11 a packet compared to other hotels this was a let down. No juice in the fridge and you could order, however waking up would have preferred to have it there in the fridge. No toothbrush, however was able to grab one from the front desk.

The common area music was nice but to loud. I finally went to the 2nd floor where elevators exited nice seating there. I would have liked a jacuzzi or sauna

John (3/5): Fell short again I’m afraid - The hotel is stunning, no issues there. This was my third stay in 3 weeks. I Airbnb my house so I stay in hotels 50-80 nights a year and was hoping the Marriott would be my go to. The first stay went well, the second stay was a bit average with billing issues and then being sent a blank invoice. The manager assured me of an improved showing this time around. I changed my booking from here to direct to the hotel but sheepishly forgot to cancel one of the two rooms booked. The front desk attendant flat out refused a free cancellation for the accidental 3rd room. I asked for him to check with the manager and get back to me, that never happened. I eventually went back down a few hours later and he said the manager declined. I asked to see the manager and after apologising for my mistake, and also highlighting I was still occupying 2 rooms she begrudgingly agreed but said she would put a black mark on my name with comments that I wasn’t to receive any further favours. The hotel was half full, the free cancellation had no impact on their revenue so to go to such depths to shame me was just silly. I get up to the room, some nice cakes for my daughter birthday (thank you). I went and showered and went to tilt the shower head only to get a handful of human filth (see picture). I sent the manager an email but nothing was done, nor was my email or picture followed up. This is a beautiful hotel, maybe understaffed? If you want spot on service, try Crowne Plaza…yeah not as fancy but you are treated like a guest.
Ellison (10/5): Great hotel, in a good location, definitely a 5 star stay. - This was a great hotel, very close to everything in central Adelaide, the M Club King Room was luxurious and very comfortable. The room came with Lounge Access, which provided very good value and was comfortable. I really wish more hotels would have the diffuser fitting for hairdryers.

Davy (8/5): A decent stay with great staff, but a few comfort issues held it back. - Professional and friendly staff, always available and helpful. Room was clean, with a spacious bathroom and shower. The experience didn’t quite meet a true 5-star standard by international comparison. Shower pressure was weak, mattress too firm, and pillows bulky but not comfortable. Door handles in the bathroom were oddly small from the inside. A loud function on level 1 and ground floor made it hard to relax, and the minibar was disappointing with minimal complimentary items. The indoor swimming pool is technically indoors but has open windows, making it unusable during winter or colder seasons.

Good sized pool. Great buffet breakfast. $140 for valet parking for two nights for a car that would say in the carpark the whole time was a bit expensive. Especially when self car parking was $64 for two nights. Pillows weren’t that comfy. It was hot in the room over night even with the aircon on- it seemed like it went into sleep mode but it didn’t show that on the control panel and the aircon worked really well during the day when it was 40 degrees plus. No spa.
