- simonty72 (8/5): I only spent one night but enjoyed my stay. Great band in the front bar! - Room was comfortable, clean and tidy. bathroom was excellent. Bistro food was very good- good value, fresh ingredients and large portions. Friendly staff. Will be back. Nothing
- WENDY (8/5): overall we were happy - The staff were friendly and very clean the bed was a little harder than we are used to
- Sally (4/5): Very basic. - Location. Breakfast room/lounge Staff not super welcoming. Room needs a facelift. Needs a deep clean. No hairdryer in the building.
- Shaun (10/5): - All good Othong
- Maria (5/5): Friendly staff, clean accommodation but poor sleep due to loud environment. - Clean rooms and bathroom, good aircon. Utensils and cookies offered in the kitchen were a nice touch. Noise from pub really travels upstairs. I could hear loud conversations until nearly 12am on a weekday. Walls are quite thin and noise from corridors also travel. Rooms also had a weird smell.
- Brian (10/5): Comfy and quiet - Location
- Leone (8/5): - It was a nice comfortable hotel/pub room with a basin and TV.
Being a Friday, the Music/band/singer was to be expected. It was awesome music and the singer had an amazing voice (my room was almost above the band)
The restaurant was good, with, large meals. The guest kitchen area was well stocked and very clean. The ladies toilet, bath area was dated and water stained with shower over bath but no basin

- Jayne (8/5): Great dinner, clean comfy room, could make a tea in the morning. - Location great, staff very helpful. We had a 96 year old with us so a lift would have been great.

- Carey L (9/5): We had great service and look forward to our next stay with you. Your warm hospitality was fantastic - Super friendly staff, professional, fresh clean with a share kitchen and loungeroom. highly recommend No A/C. This was needed in the summer heat.

- ERWIN (8/5): grate old county pub - did not have breakfast
- Carolyn (7/5): Looking for a decent bed for the night? - Its an old pub but has quite obviously had renovations done to the accomodation area. Very clean, adequate size room for 2 of us, lovely modern bathroom. Communal kitchen with complimentary coffee/tea, biscuits and breakfast items too. Very nice, helpful staff . I would stay again. I found the bed comfortable but my son didnt. But the beds will aways be hit and miss with accomodation.

- Rayner (10/5): Great old style pub. Value for money - Great customer service NA
- Sharon (10/5): - Surprisingly so many rooms upstairs. Room was nice with a big bathroom.
- Eleanor (5/5): Clean and convenient - The staff were lovely, and very friendly. The room was clean and tidy.
- RHONDA (10/5): Unexpected comfort and cleanliness and quality and value for money. - Great selection of breakfast foods.
Great communal kitchen and sitting area. The communal fridge, freezer where customers can take someone else's belongings or food.
Maybe if there was some markers to name food and drink etc, it would prevent this from happening.
- Nicky (9/5): -
- Kirsten (5/5): - Central location. Clean room. Comfy beds. Room was hot with no air con. Couldn't leave window open, as there were noisy smokers below.
No instructions as to where to find shared bathroom, so had to go explore.
- Rebecca (8/5): Will be back if travelling back to Kyogle in a heartbeat. - The property was all you could ask for & great hospitality. The best dam cob loaf ever had from bistro, absolutely delicious. Great kitchen to make coffee & breakfast. Would definitely recommend this property to fellow travellers. Only issue was a generator cut in & cut out throughout night for coolroom below our room, but apart from that great place to stay
- Gillian (8/5): -
- Evan (8/5): - Price was good. Dining at location and having a common area to watch tv.
- Kath H (8/5): Good value and comfortable beds. - The room was clean although a little small for 3 people (only a small space to walk between the single and queen bed), however the beds were comfortable and the hand basin in the room was helpful for freshening up in the morning before departure. Staff were friendly and helpfully advised that we could park our motorcycles in the lock up garage under the hotel in the carpark. The meals in the bistro were very nice and good value. The common area/lounge was fantastic and had tea/coffee, toast and spreads as well as a fridge. The pillows on the queen bed were too high for me, thankfully the single bed in our room had two thinner pillows which didn't suit my adult son so we swapped them over. Perhaps having one high and one lower/thinner pillow on the queen beds would be more suitable to cover most people's requirements. The after hours stairs to the back carpark are very steep and not suited to anyone with mobility issues. The room was quite warm and only having a fan we had to keep the window and blind open however this allowed all the noise from the main road into the room as well as the early morning light.
- Robyn (8/5): Above expectations - The shower was great - hot, roomy & NO shower curtain. Friendly team at bar with check in . Good central location. Was traveling with elderly mother in law & she was happy .😃
- Brendan (7/5): terrific - yes central

- Jody (8/5): Everything we needed - Unit 11 - Great room, heaps of space. Everything we needed. Bistro downstairs, great food, friendly atmosphere. Bathroom door needed attention. It came off its runner however was easily fixed, but shouldn't of happened.
Stairs!!!! An elevator would have been amazing.
- Peta (9/5): Excellent. 100% would recommend. Staff are lovely and cleanliness superior. - Very clean, facilities great. Convenient location. Bathroom lay out a bit odd. No toiletries.
- Sally Eldridge (7/5): - Clean, convenient, and good value for money. Staff were friendly. Some basic breakfast items were available. The showers were in baths, which always makes me a bit nervous getting in and out of. The back stairs are very steep and slippery when wet. Descend with care!
- Amanda (8/5): Probably a little overpriced but worth it for our own bathroom and toilet. - Check in was great, room was small but everything we needed. Ensuite was a great addition. Free toast, tea and coffee making facilities in the communal area on the same floor. Great lock up garage under the building for a motorbike.
- Gillian (8/5): -
- Nicole (5/5): Bar staff were friendly and helpful, kitchen looked understafed for the busy night. - Food was good. Room was clean and functional. Beds were uncomfortable and past their use by date. Room was hot and aircon was noisy.
- Condon (8/5): - Clean nice kitchen tea. Coffee ECT Shower water was nearly to cold to use
- Melanie (7/5): Good - Great stay .. great room .. love the shared lounge area & kitchen Ladies shared bathroom had only ONE toilet and the showers were over bath tubs and waaay too high for short people .. I had to use men’s showers .. they actually had individual cubicles .. with adjustable showers 🤷♀️
- Darren (8/5): Very good -
- Yukari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nick (7/5): Met expectation for budget pub accoms - Great location, free parking at rear, good value Very little included in the room
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Good sized room and very comfortable. Great facilities and locked garage for motorbike. Great value. Very impressed.
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- Nathan (10/5): Good honest country location - Home away from home
- Condon (8/5): Very good - Was clean tidy nice room free breakfast and tea coffee Had meal in restaurant and the buzzer never let us know our meals were ready so eventually one of the waiters came and asked for our number and said our meals were cooked and the buzzers weren't working so meal was nearly cold
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Leeanne (3/5): We left and did not stay there - The service for lunch was very poor we waited nearly 1 hour for lunch There was pubic hair on the toilet seat
- Jennifer (8/5): The guest lounge and kitchen area was good. -
- Mattner (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (8/5): Country pub - Upstairs lounge and kitchen Camper Van tampered with in the back carpark
- Ballantine (10/5): Enjoyable. - Loved the ability to lock away our motorbikes while we were there. Good piece of mind knowing they're safe, we were on a motorbike trip
- John (9/5): THE GRANDIES HAD A BALL AT THE COMM. - The perfect pub-stay for us & two young grandchildren (6 & 4). The ensuite was handy & the beds comfy. Awesome indoor playground & fantastic communal kitchen with complementary bread & spreads.
- David (6/5): Suited the purpose of somewhere clean to stay overnight. - Basic but clean and comfortable accommodation. Quite noisy but it is a hotel.
- Kirstie (9/5): Would recommend, would stay again -
- Duncan (8/5): Great place for a couple night's stay. - Great location, very friendly staff. The lighting in the rooms are very dark.
- Stella (8/5): Great apartment in the heart of Kyogle - Really impressed by how new the apartment is.
Bed mattress is a little rough.
No hair dryer
Kitchen very well supplied.
Great surprise overall!
- Russell (7/5): Good value - Bed was hard - only blemish
- Leanne (10/5): Great location in town, beds are crap. - Location The bed felt like I was on floor. They need new mattresses.
- Matthews (7/5): Good -
- Kathrine (7/5): One night is ok… - I had to change rooms and pay an upgrade fee. I realised that the budget room I had booked was facing the main highway, no aircon and an open window. I moved to the back of hotel and a room with an ensuite. Really clean and quiet. There was only one person working the whole hotel and he was so busy. I had a problem with tv remote and it was easier to give up rather than get help.
- Munro (5/5): Passable - Could have deb bed in it I like it
- Martha (9/5): Superb -
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kellee (5/5): Clean rooms, own bathroom, air con etc. fine for a one night stay. - Cleanliness of room New Year’s Eve, no staff after 4pm, there was a stranger who accessed common area.
- Sharon (7/5): Fair - The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean.
Having a bistro was very convenient for us
The tea coffee making facilities, although in a shared area were very good The window coverings were inadequate to keep the light out, just outside our room was a light on all night. Our room was at the front of the hotel and we had no sleep from 4.30am, due to excessive traffic noise, which was unfortunate as we were travelling a long way. The night before, owing to someone cooking stir-fry in the shared area, the fire alarm went off, very loud and continued for quite a while, other guests were up too..
- Cheryl (10/5): amazing - Had our own nothing it was awsome
- Shane (7/5): Good - Nice comfortable bed, aircon worked well, good food in the restaurant downstairs. But expensive for pub accommodation, but getting expensive everywhere.
- Nicholls (8/5): Very good -
- Princy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharon (9/5): good value - overnight bike storage is a plus mattress is atrocious
- Maribel (7/5): Good -
- Ursula (3/5): Misery at Kyogle. - Close to our friends. Good food in bistro at reasonable price. Free light breakfast,Tea/coffee in kitchenette close to our room. Clean bathroom & toilet with toiletries. Helpful staff. Room 1. Tiny hole. Ancient air conditioner, very noisey. Mother aircon on a roof right near our room, also very noisey all night. I pulled mattress into bathroom to get a sleep. No tea & coffee making facilities in our room, no kitchenette, for $140/night! Beds with thin mattresses. Old blanket box had broken handle. There would be room there for jug, fridge, cups etc. stairs from street, then stairs to accommodation floor. Definitely not suitable for those with mobility issues. Would not recommend.
- Birdy (9/5): Superb - The hotel was amazing. Breakfast provided
- Drew (10/5): Would stay again - Convenient modernised old hotel
- Pearse (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maree (10/5): It was a great place-decked out kitchenette in upstairs lounge for staying guests-a lovely surprise - The location was great particularly with the restaurant downstairs. I was pleasantly surprised by the lounge and TV as well as the decked out kitchenette for all staying guests to use. The bathrooms and toilets were lovely and clean. I love how they were old but given a touch up to brighten them up. The bathrooms are much brighter and cheery than in this photo. Staff were lovely and friendly as well.
HINT FOR TRAVELLERS - book into the restaurant early as it gets very busy and full
