• Page (6/5): You get what you pay for - location Didn’t feel clean and I think experience was dampened by the people in the room which I’m aware is not the hotels fault.
• Brandon (3/5): After a very long travel day it’s the last place I would want to stay. Checking in at 1am to realize the place didn’t re - The location was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pictures don’t even resemble the property, it’s a completely different building. My “deluxe” room was just a 6 bed dorm with 4 single wide mattresses stacked together to make a queen size bed. My room was dirty when I checked in, same with the bed sheets. The staff kept their personal belongings in the wardrobe inside the room. I had ants crawling inside my bed the second day we were there.

• Brenton (10/5): My favourite place in Vietnam - The manager ( Linh) was supper supper helpful for my stay and booking trip in the North Vietnam. Stay for a night and extend for many because of her. Would definitely recommend this hostel for all the backpackers :) Nothing for complain for sure

The location is also great, right in the city center. A special mention goes to Lynn at the reception — she is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stay!

• Non (8/5): Very good - Great location, quiet dorm at night and a bit more anonymous as it's a huge hostel, but the price is totally fine for what you get, fresh clean towel, staff is available 24/7 and always willing to help. Great to explore the city and have some good sleep. Very spacious bed area and great for storage! It wasn't as clean as other hostels I've stayed in for this price range, but still totally fine. The bathrooms were always clean, just the dorm floors weren't. Still would recommend to go here and have a good and nice stay 🙂

Linh at the hostel was lovely and very helpful in organising tours and I had a great 3 day trip to Sapa with smooth pick up etc. the beds were also comfy, with stairs up to the top bunks. Lockers were spacious too. This has now changed but there was no breakfast on my first two days which meant it was hard to meet anyone else and it was almost too quiet. But they started serving it on my last day which will help a lot !

Great accommodations and good to meet new people. - Staff members are just amazing, just smile, they are really trustful people and they gave great recommandations, can book you with decent price (unlike traveling agency) buses, help you renting scooters with their networks. Thank to them I could have my bus to Ha Long in a few hours. I asked to stay another night the day I was supposed to check out, they did it right away. I did 3 hostels in Hanoi so far and this one really good, value for money. Recommend you to spend your nights if you are in Hanoi. (If you can play with An, also one of the staff member's boy, please do so, he is a good one :)) The guy talking at midnight on his phone like he was alone.. For me, my bed tend to be humid in the 6 floor which bother me a bit and they don't have a rooftop/quiet place to exercise. (did it on the balcony tho)

• Derek (6/5): Pleasant - Luxury Backpackers is in a great location with easy access to most of the things you’d wanna get to, and the bed was comfortable enough. It felt very much like a party hostel but without any of the social interaction. There wasn’t really space to meet or talk to people very well. The staff was very pushy to book tours through them even when I said I didn’t want to. The outlet in my bed was located below the surface of the mattress, making it very difficult to actually plug in to charge. Idk, it wasn’t terrible but I also def wouldn’t call it luxury and I’ll be looking elsewhere when I go back to Ha Noi.
