- Julie (5/5): Would stay in a hotel next time rather than this apartment. - The location was excellent. The kitchen was suitable for what we needed but we didn’t use it as we did not want to be in the apartment. We could leave our suitcases at a nearby hotel on check out although they charge for this. Clean and tidy. The terrace was ok but very enclosed. There is only a view of a brick wall. If you have any kind of problem with stairs, do not stay here. The spiral staircase is very narrow and very difficult to climb up. I ended up coming down backwards as it was easier. We left our suitcase downstairs in the living room. When holding on to the top rail of the stairs it just kept coming off. We found the bed quite hard and did not sleep very well. You need 4 sets of keys to get into the property and it is not very well lit in the first section inside. The shower is quite small which we could cope with but the pole that holds the shower up was broken so you had to hold the shower in your hand the whole time. There were no free toiletries as advertised . There were toilet rolls and clean fresh towels.
- Ana (3/5): Stay in venice - Great location, in the city center close to everything you need to see in Venice. The apartment was not clean: there were hairs in the shower from previous customers and leftover food stuck in the pots. There was also trash in the bin not previously thrown. To access the bedroom, you have use stairs that are not suitable at all for kids/elderly. Keep in mind that after the check out, you have to pay 5€ per suitcase to leave them in the hotel. No one mentioned that to us until we actually went all the way to the hotel with our luggage. Also, to pay the city tax (that must be in cash) bring the exact coins, don’t expect them to have change. The personal, especially at the reception of the hotel, was unprofessional and with limited English skills.
