- Anne (4/5): Achtung! Falsche alte Bilder!!! Es ist alles kaputt und verwahrlost. - Der Ausblick. Liebes Team, wir buchten aufgrund der fantastischen Fotos. Wir wollten uns ein wenig fühlen wir in Santorini, was aufgrund der wundervollen Bilder der Unterkunft ein wirkliches Highlight unseres Albanien Trips werden sollte. Nach der Buchung erhielten wir eine WhatsApp und auch Nachricht über Booking von der Inhaberin in diesem erklärte sie auch, dass es kein Restaurant Betrieb gibt und mein Frühstück und Abendessen dazubuchen muss und sendete zwei Bilder wir versuchten unsere längere Anreise so schnell wie möglich hinter uns zu bringen, um zum geplanten Sonnenuntergang dort zu sitzen und die Schönheit zu genießen. So wie es auf den Bildern ersichtlich ist. Angekommen hielt uns Google Maps an einer Straße an. Wir parken dann oben am Parkplatz, denn wir haben ne ganze Weile gebraucht, um herauszufinden, dass wir die sehr Steine und Kurie Betonstraße herunterfahren müssten, um zum Hotel zu gelangen. Mit Sack und Pack sind wir dann den Langen steinigen Weg hinunter. Angekommen begegneten uns nicht die wundervollen weißen Wände, sauberen Möbel wie auf den Bildern, sondern bereits sehr kaputte und mit rutschigen Oliven belegte Stufen. Angekommen sahen wir Wasser,schläuche und Kabel überall vier Laub und nur zwei Touristen vor Ort - weder Personal noch Inhaberin. Das normale Internet ist leider dort oben auf dem Berg auch nicht gut, so dass ein Anruf per WhatsApp ziemlich lange dauerte, als ich die Inhaberin am Telefon hatte, sagte sie mir, dass es eins der Zimmer ist und ich einfach reingehen soll. Die Tür ist offen ich war doch ein wenig schockiert. Zu mindestens das Zimmer war ähnlich wie auf den Bildern. Das Bett selber quietscht grausam, so dass man Angst hatte, sich daran zu drehen. Im Bad konnte man sich kaum im Dreck des Spiegel sehen, wenn man die Duscharmatur anfasst, weil man schon fast die ganze Installation in der Hand. Nun gut, dachte ich Schauen wir uns mal die tolle Umgebung an, denn deswegen haben wir ja dieses Hotel gebucht.

- Niels (9/5): Topplek - Evi is een superleuke gastvrouw en heeft een prachtige spot boven Dhermi. Gezellig ontbijten in de tuin en 's avonds kun je ook bij haar eten. Ze geeft leuke tips waar je het beste naar toe kunt gaan. Er viel niets tegen. Het is een plek waar je heerlijk tot rust kunt komen. Aanrader als je naar Dhermi gaat.

- Pierre (1/5): Une hôte lamentable - La vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et Dhermi en contrebas L'attitude de l'hôte, Evi. Dès que nous lui avons dit que nous n'allions pas prendre le petit déjeuner chez elle, son attitude a changé. Elle ne répondait plus à nos bonjour ou bonsoir, et limitait les échanges au strict nécessaire. Au moment de partir, nous lui avons fait part de notre impression. A ma grande surprise elle a réagit violemment en me disant de ne jamais revenir en Albanie, suivi d'F... You ! Expérience très désagréable, surtout vu le prix (130 euros la nuit, sans petit déjeuner et avec une salle de bains qui puait les remontées d'égout).

En Evi, de gastvrouw zorgt dat het je aan niets ontbreekt én schonk ons de laaste avond eigengemaakte raki in plus een flesje mee voor thuis. Top! Wij vonden de bedden erg hard, maar dat is natuurlijk een kwestie van voorkeur.

Evi the host is amazing, helpful, funny, frien - The property is a heavenly retreat away from the sometimes chaotic environment closer to the beach. The rooms and cute and super clean, the view is amazing and the air is so clean. You need a car or a short taxi ride to get tot he closest supermarket.

She is a one-person show, and you can tell she cares a lot and is working very hard. The kids loved lounging in the hammocks, the views were stunning and relaxing, and garden is a cute, eclectic selection. My whole family loved staying here!
- Alice (3/5): Beautiful location, rude host. - The view is undeniably beautiful, the room was sufficient, there is off street parking, and we were able to check in early, which was great. We were really disappointed with our stay. We booked this accommodation due to the onsite restaurant and bar, so we could have dinner and a drink enjoying the view for our last night in Albania. When we arrived in the early afternoon we asked via text if we would be able to have the dinner, but were told it wouldn't be enough time for the fish to defrost. This all happened before the usual check-in time, so not sure how much notice you need to give if you want to eat. We went out for dinner instead and made sure we were back in time to have a drink watching the sunset. We even checked in with the host that we would be able to get drinks in the evening and she confirmed we would. However the host was not back to offer any service until after 9pm. When she did arrive, we learned she had been out with friends, and was visibly annoyed that we didn’t want a drink (by this time it was dark and we had been waiting for hours). Unfortunately, this led to our only real interaction with her, which ended with her leaving abruptly, expressing frustration that she could have stayed out instead. I'm by no means a hospitality expert but I think the minimum is to have someone around to serve your paying guests, especially when in the property description it clearly says there is a restaurant and bar. Had we known in advance that no food or drink service would be available for most of the day, or that the host wouldn’t be present, we may have reconsidered our booking. Clearer communication around availability and expectations would go a long way in avoiding this kind of disappointment. Additionally, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, which we chose not to raise after the awkward exchange. I will add we had been in Albania for the best part of three weeks, and this was the only negative experience we had in our whole time in. We would not recommend booking here as we felt like a burden to the hostess.

Evi’s cooking skills are also amazing. We highly recommend enjoying breakfast and dinner here; everything was beyond our expectations. We loved it so much that we’ve booked to return for the last two days of our trip! Honestly, nothing! Everything was just perfect.

The property is in a stunning location, with sunsets that will take your breath away. The bedrooms are perfectly positioned to face the view, so you can even enjoy it from the comfort of your bed. Evie was an amazing host, offering invaluable advice on the best places to visit in Dhërmi. Her knowledge gave us a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Albania. She went above and beyond, surprising us with a birthday cake for my girlfriend’s special day, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Her meals, especially the breakfast and dinners, were delicious—I never imagined I’d come to love fresh tomatoes so much! We left wishing we could stay longer and are already hoping to return. Nothing really, but bare in mind that you probably need a car to get around.

- Mirna (1/5): Bad - A girl managing the bookings for this place messaged me on Whatsapp in the morning on the day of arrival saying that the property has no electricity and that they cannot accomodate us. We were already on the road to the place. She offered another accomodation (just sent a number that we could call and a location on maps). We did not feel like calling a random number without being provided any photos, a Booking profile of the alternative host, or any other official information about the other place she mentioned, also our booking for this place wasn't cancelled. I don't know, did they want us to stay at another place while keeping this booking so as to not ruin their nice ratings? The entire story just did not seem transparent enough so we found ourselves another accomodation. Just to add - it seems that most accomodations and restaurants in Albania buy their reviews (for Booking and for Google reviews) so use common sense when reading the overly positive reviews.

She made us feel at home, and helped us take care of our sick friend. Her warm personality makes Casablanca rooms vibrant and a great place to stay during your time in Dhërmi! Faleminderit Evi. She gave us great recommendations and the breakfast was fab. Garden was beautiful and free to use. Good air con. Could not fault our stay. Would definitely recommend if you prefer time away from the main strip.

Casablanca Rooms was a last minute booking on our way up from Ksamil to Tirana, and what a surprise find! As my travel companion said the next morning, this is a place to lazy about and relax your troubles away. And that we did. The host, Evi, is the quintessential good vibes person - someone who instantly becomes a friend; helpful (with all the accommodations we asked for), genuine (in all her recommendations), and so much fun. I regret booking only for one night. But the fact that I found my forever place on the coast makes up for it. This hotel California you will not want to miss!
- Anthony (10/5): A must go! - Casablanca Rooms was far beyond any of our expectations. The view from the charming garden is breathtaking and overall the property is wonderful. It truly feels like a private oasis. Last but not least, thanks to the warmth, friendship and generosity of the site manager, Evi. She's a host, a great cook, a guide and eventually a friend. On our way back to Tirana from the south we actually decided to go back and spend one more night in that little private paradise. Definitely a must see.

The abandoned/disused club next to the property was incredibly interesting to walk around and absorb (being a bit of a raver myself). The views from the property are absolutely stunning. Evi, the host, couldn't have been more welcoming. Breakfast was great looking out over the beach. The rooms are also large and spacious. The garden of the property is a perfect place to chill and take in the views. Parking is easy and the directions Evi gave were spot on. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious, well decorated and very clean. The host was correct, ready to help and very friendly. Bed was very comfortable. We will definitely go back and we can't wait to be back there. There's nothing we didn't like!

It was very easy to find and the room was very spaceful and comfortable. You could find everything needed in the room. Evi served us the breakfast and the coffee which we really enjoyed in that view. The room had air conditioner but the climate was amazing to stay even late outside at the garden. 10/10 recommended even for the price!
