- Ivania Carolina (8/5): - Un trato cordial , y excelente relacion de precio vs servicios NO APLICA
- yp071188 (9/5): - The accessibility and the friendliness of the staff There was a bit of noise from the main road
- SASKIA (8/5): It was good for us for 2 nights - The location. The place looks nice with a small pool. We had a room in the front, facing the road which had some noise. The bigger apartments are beside the pool. The breakfast was good, but fresh fruit was missing. The owner is very nice and brought me a hairdryer. Our room and bathroom were ok but look more like a 3-star and not like 4-star.
Fresh fruit was missing at breakfast.
- Ranu (8/5): - Hospitable host and staff

uy buena opción en La Fortuna. - Atención del personal. Ruido.
- kiara (10/5): -
Draußen konnte man gemütlich sitzen.
- Ram (9/5): -
- Jamie-leigh (10/5): - Lovely place Nothing
Schade.
- Britney (5/5): You get what you pay for - The location is very convenient and close to downtown. The property felt safe thanks to the locked entrance with a key, and the host welcomed us at the front and even helped carry our luggage up to the room. The breakfast was good, housekeepers/cooks were friendly and attentive, the room had strong AC, good water pressure with hot water, and a reliable refrigerator. We also appreciated being allowed a late checkout. The room had two beds with different mattresses—one was comfortable, but the other was not. The shower floor didn’t drain completely, leaving a small pool of water after use. The sink drain had hair in it and the sink itself was loose, which wasn’t addressed after messaging the host. The bathroom door frame was also falling apart.
Light still came through the curtains at night. When we requested an iron and ironing board, the ironing board ended up staining my shirt while ironing. The room was not soundproof, so street noise was very noticeable. On Wednesday night, a group of people gathered at the liquor store beneath the room and were loud from about 10 PM to 1:30 AM, which made it difficult to fall asleep.
Communication with the host was also challenging at times—we had difficulty reaching them when requesting items like extra towels and an iron. Additionally, the pool appeared to need cleaning, as there were leaves and other debris in the water.
- Thornton (9/5): Great place - Had 3 nights here, in a lovely apartment. Slept really well. The room has modern facilities, outdoor kitchen aswell which was great. Lovely pool. Daniel was so helpful during our stay. Lovely restaurants nearby - try La Tipica next door, great food. Nothing.

- Colleen (10/5): - Convenient location
- jim (8/5): - Gabby was excellent help To noisy if you stay there take a set of ear plugs.very noisy 5am to 10pm is
- Jairo (8/5): -

- Daniel (6/5): Budget - Daniel was very welcoming and the breakfast OK. Beds were comfy and the linen clean We stayed in the budget rooms at the front and they are so noisy from the traffic. You get that though if you book budget. Had to ask in the supermarket where the accommodation was as it’s not obvious, even with the sign outside. They knew though straight away and called and we were in all good through the brown gates behind the supermarket. This could have been made easier though. At breakfast we felt let down as we were offered this or that. Eggs on toast or beans an and rice. We then saw a Spanish family get everything in their plate. Should be standard not offered as this or that!
- Ding (2/5): - The location is the best! Not having the traffic in town before you going to most of the popular destinations around.
The garage is spacious. The landlord is warm and welcoming, speaking very good English. The room!! With a fully glass window door right in front of a busy street, feeling not safe.
The bathroom smells BAD!!! The towels had obvious stains, including bloodstains.
My throat was irritated that night and kept me coughing so that I barely slept well. It must be because of the airquality in that room, maybe moldes. And it almost ruined my whole trip.
It's worse than a $30 dollar motel in US.
- Katharina (5/5): -
- Tom (10/5): -
- María Allón Barboza (10/5): -
- Jacquelyn (10/5): Would book again - Safe location, gated garage for my car, breakfast included, friendly staff, owners treated you like family and accommodating.
- Farrier (8/5): -
- Fahad (10/5): -
- Diane (7/5): Good -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Good pool
Good gate security
Great breakfast service
Great location for La Fortuna. 5 minutes from the hotsprings areas. Some of the hotel rooms are directly beside main road traffic. These rooms are noisy until 11 p.m. and starts back up at 6 a.m. Sleeping in is more difficult here. Noise is heavily dependent on how many people sit outside drinking alcohol until 11 p.m. Tourists and CR people will be there.
The owners are looking to reinforce the building to soundproof the majority of the noises. Once that is complete, this place will be way better. I recommend double pan glass as well to insulate the rooms with the air conditioner and roofing that will keep the rain from making too much noise at the top as well.
- Rail (10/5): Exceptional - We loved staying here. Easy and comfortable, we ended up staying here last minute due to another place not working out. Great location as well. The hosts are fantastic
- Allan (4/5): Noisy place - Very close to the center of La Fortuna The place is very noisy, you can hear a lot of cars and especially motorcycles, which makes it difficult to sleep. One of the mattresses was deformed.
- Lansens (10/5): Absolutely loved this place definitely will be back . - Very quiet and clean No drapes on the living room sliding doors no privacy , just looked like they fell off and they didn’t hang them back up. The next room to us had them . Just not our room .
- Tao (3/5): Overall, this property is not managed well. I definitely would not recommend it. - The host was nice and tried to help us.
The mini market is really convenient. Most of time the WIFI does not work, can hardly work on anything in the room.
When we checked in, the room was dirty. One of the room had strong smoke smells. The other room had dead bugs on floor, spider web in the air. It did not seem that it was cleaned. One of the the towel was badly torn already. The sheets also smelled bad.
There are always a lot of tiny bugs crawling fast on the kitchen counter and get into everything there, kind of disgusting.
The hotwater is unreliable. I guess when you take shower late, the hot water will run out.
It is very hard to find the hotel, the sign is tiny with no directions.
- Michelle (9/5): great 2 night stay - it’s a nice villa , with nice accommodations. the only thing was finding the stay since it’s above a liquor store and next to a laundromat. other then that it was great. it is very close for activities in the fortuna and the volcano. view is stunning. free breakfast as well. nothing it was great!
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Central A little noisy..nothing ear plugs couldn't fix
- Aoife (8/5): Good location, clean, friendly host. - Clean and good location Was expecting a washing machine as advertised but there is a laundrette nearby.
- Cristian (6/5): Nice area, not bad for one night. Won’t go back - Good stay for the money Very noisy, it’s at the main road, and that wouldn’t be a problem if the neighbors wouldn’t have drunk meetings at the store under the rooms, being way too noisy and wouldn’t rev their engines before they left spinning the wheels as peasants
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional - Hospitality was very gracious and the room a great value. Even a hot breakfast every morning and coffee refills. No wash cloth
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Very good indeed - EVERYTHING A little noisy on the balcony rooms
- Juan (7/5): Good - My room was in front of the main street
- Mailyn (9/5): Superb - Apartment was comfy and clean. The staff from the villas and the store were very friendly and helpful.
- Bruce (7/5): Good -
- Joshua (10/5): Recommended stay in the Fortuna Area! - The location to La Fortuna and proximity to other things we wanted to see and do in the area. Parking was great as you had your own spot. Small pool for the guests in the building. Rooms were updated and clean. Staff was attentive and pleasant to speak with. AC unit in our one room we had to keep flipping the breaker for. I’m sure this will be fixed in short order as the staff was very attentive to this item when we let them know that the unit kept going to a default and shutting down after 4 hours.
- Kent (9/5): Last minute surprise! - Good in-town location. New, very modern and comfortable with a great pool! Could use better signage outside to locate! But once found……wonderful!
- Bryan (7/5): The view from the room was fantastic - The view and location The noise , dogs ,traffic
- Willibrord (9/5): We booked a 2 bed apartment but on arrival got a two bed room instead. However the owner moved us to a two bed apartment - Host was very helpful Description of the room as an apartment
- Anonymous (8/5): Very nice, with shops nearby and a beautiful view of the Vulvano. A special thank you to Daniel who was so helpfull. -
- Jaime (8/5): Fair stay - Good Location and small Breakfast No signs hard to find the place
- Rachel (9/5): Superb - Hosts were fantastic. Rooms, pool and outdoor kitchen/ bar are beautiful. Breakfast is wonderful. Daniel is very friendly, accommodating with anything we needed and his English is very good for us to communicate with him First night the room we had was a bit noisy from traffic from Main Street. The hosts mentioned they are planning on doing some modifications for soundproofing. Stayed several nights in the the building in the back and it was wonderful
- Mario (10/5): Exceptional -
