- Mark (1/5): Lost keys, never informed about, never returned. - No comment. I had lost my keys. I didn't realize it was still in the room. So, I call around and think to call back to this hotel. I was still traveling around and had to trace back my steps. The staff here had found my keys it turned out, but strangely didn't bother to even let me know. Then, when I asked if they could ship it (and I offered repeatedly to cover the costs), they said, we mailed it. Never got it. So, most wildly, they didn't even care to inform me from the start that my keys had been left behind so that I could simply retrieve them myself. Then, when I asked if I needed to return to get them, they said we mailed them, and I never received them. Do not go here. I've never been to single hotel throughout Spain, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Slovenia, the US, etc, where hotel owners behave like this. Obviously, everyone should be sure they don't lose their belongings. Obviously. But, obviously, people will lose stuff while traveling, and you'd hope that the places you pay to stay in would have enough decency to help out when they can. This was an incredibly small favor to ask. Just letting me know from the start would have been great. They didn't even let me know.

Mais l,endroit est très propre, le personnel très acceuillant. Pour ceux qui reste la cours arrière avec piscine est superbe. le petit déjeuner fourni est quand même assez bien vu le prix. Alors ça ne serait pas mon endroit ^référé pour un long séjour, mais pour un cours séjour, un stop on the go, c'est très bien. Vu la vocation de cet établissement pour des gens qui sont des hickers, pas grand choses.

A ani jsme na to nebyli nijak upozorněni. Z mého pohledu toma absolutně neodpovídala cena. Pokoj byl velmi malý (což by samo o sobě vůbec nevadilo). Ale v noci ho nebylo jak vyvětrat.

- Eric (6/5): Très déçu par cet hôtel très bas de gamme... - L'environnement, Vilaflore est une localité sympa proche du Teide Hôtel impersonnel avec un confort rudimentaire sans aucun contact à l'arrivée et au départ. Le chauffage n'est pas mis en service malgré une température très froide. Ça ressemble plus à une auberge de jeunesse que l'on trouve habituellement à 40€. Le petit déjeuner est très bas de gamme. Bref, nous déconseillons

- Miloš (8/5): - Vesnice Vilaflor je klidné místo, ideální jako výchozí bod pro výlety do hor. Hotel Ziggy's Mountain Retreat je v citlivě zrekonstruované staré budově s krásnou prosklenou jídelnou, snídaně jsou chutné a dostačující, všude je čisto, personál milý. Ve Vilafloru je poněkud obtížné parkovat, ale zdá se, že nad náměstím je ve výstavbě nové parkoviště. Jako skromní turisté, kteří po snídani vyrážejí a vrací se za soumraku jsme si objednali nejmenší pokoj. A tím po příjezdu nastala nepříjemná situace, neboť takové pokoje se zde nacházejí dva, ale při objednávce je nejde rozlišit Ten náš neměl okno a působil jako trenažér pro posádky ponorek. Avšak podařilo se nám ještě večer vyjednat výměnu za stejně velký pokoj s oknem do ulice.

We were given a room with a broken back door window which is no good when overnight temperature drops to 3C! The owner should have warned us no restaurants should be open on Jan 6th after 4pm!!!

This hotel makes it super easy too. The soundproofing is poor, and you can hear everything happening on the floor. Several rooms have sinks located in the common hallway rather than inside the rooms themselves, which means you'll hear people brushing their teeth at 2am. While guests share some responsibility for being considerate, this is fundamentally a design flaw. The same issue affects mornings—if you're hoping to sleep past breakfast time, expect to be woken by foot traffic as guests head upstairs to eat.

En ce qui concerne l'hôtel, grosses difficultés pour y accéder du fait de l'absence totale de personnel et d'une procédure d'entrée par code trop compliquée. Chambre froide et pour comble, coupure d'électricité totale à huit du soir jusqu'au lendemain matin car après un échange par WhatsApp avec une correspondante, pas de possibilité de dépannage en l'absence de personnel sur place. Qui plus est, j'ai oublié un sweatshirt vert amande du fait de l'absence de lumière. En conséquence de tous ces problèmes, je demande un remboursement total.. - Marek (8/5): - Central location, next to a small grocery store and some good restaurants, a few minutes away from a lovely cafe too. Big house with a pool, communal lounge (with some games, a kettle and an honesty-box-style beverage fridge), which is nice, because some rooms have no external-facing windows (they face the corridor, so you want to keep the shutters closed to keep the privacy). It's a good base for travellers with supportive and accommodating hosts, used to catering to hikers' needs. Comfy bed, hot water, easy access 24/7. Limited access to the dining room (you can't enter after 6 PM) - I assume it's because the hosts live in the connected space, but it's hardly convenient. Poor wifi in the rooms, but I didn't really mind too much. No external windows in my room, but I didn't mind as I was only staying in the room at night.
