- Bruno (8/5): Well managed hostel. Good breakfast, nice and quiet location. -
- Hanani (9/5): Superb - Location in medium safe area little far from attraction
- Marcelina (7/5): Good - Clean room with lockers and comfy beds. Location close to metro and a lovely food/restaurant market. Simple breakfast included, very basic but nice to have it included. Lack of window so room is dark and gets muffy. We had to wash dishes after eating breakfast which is just strange.
- Ferdinand (8/5): Very good - Downstairs toilets are tiny (but better ones are upstairs)
Also only one socket so usually fan not usable at night

- Fearghal (8/5): So much more potential - Loved the style of the Hostel. Rooms very comfortable and very nice common space outside of our room which we utilised very well. At first the location can be very daunting. You're unsure where to go and what to do. There wasn't any background given by staff when we first arrived. It was only after a few nights we realised what potential the area has. Many locals are extremely friendly, but you do need to know and understand the area. An information leaflet of places to go would clear up all of this. We wanted to stay in the area as much as possible, but you're just extremely unsure. Also we were looking forward to the social aspect of a bar at the hostel, but this is not your typical hostel backpack. Lovely restaurant and bar, but $39000Col for 2 beers is very steep for what was advertised as a bar in a hostel.
- Pritchard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (9/5): Very nice, clean and friendly hostel - Great location for airport bus!! Close to Plaza Botero and many good restaurants
- Pritchard (10/5): Great - Everything about this place is great.

- Benito (9/5): MEDELLIN CENTRO ( CENTER)..walking distance perfect shopping and sighting free tours . - the game room, the shared bathrooms, the light free breakfast, the security system, cameras, 24hr reception, THE MANAGER,.
THE Building..bullt in 1920... no ac..they give a fan ( which is ok medellin has cool days) and NO tv
- Mor (7/5): Clean hostel in the city centre - I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The bathroom was clean. The room was basic but OK for a short stay and as can be expected for the price. Location is in the city centre.
The kitchen is clean.
Staff were helpful Breakfast is basic; bread, butter, jelly and coffee.
- Daniele (7/5): Good -
- Antea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Myrtille (7/5): Ok for one or two nights - For early check in, you can be accepting if you pay additional fees.
The guys at the reception were very nice and helpful. The room was not very cleaned when we arrive. We have requested a cleaning at the reception, upon our arrival, which was never done.
The hotel is noisy.
Breakfast are very simple and not very good (one fruit, two boiled eggs).
- Sven (9/5): Superb -
- Gabriel (9/5): Superb -
- Lindsay (8/5): Great relaxed and colourful atmosphere - Friendly staff, whole hostel decorated very nicely, colourful and good vibes, comfortable room and bed, good sized kitchen to chill, short walk to Plaza Botero/Museo Antioquia, good breakfast and great value for money! Atmosphere outside the hostel a little sketchy, hot water in showers a bit temperamental, hob in the kitchen a little small for the amount of people trying to cook, a kettle would be very handy.
- Soufiane (10/5): Perfect - Every thing was pretty good. nothing to complain about ,and the people are so so so kind ❤️❤️
- José (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (10/5): Thanks for a really wonderful stay - Everything. Clean, friendly, helpful, great breakfast and great value
- Zakaria (9/5): Superb -
- Sep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Location and the modern facilities. The stairs.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Cihan (9/5): Superb - nice single room, great breakfasts the hot water in shower rooms was not stable, and there were too many mosquitos
- Khalil (10/5): Very nice stay and very nice people there ! -
- Guns_82 (8/5): Very good - Loved it a lot, felt like home
- Adalgeir (10/5): This charming family-run hostel offers excellent service and a prime location. - The hostel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Housed in a charming old grand house, it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. The breakfast is excellent, and the location is fantastic, being close to the D1 supermarket and within a short distance to other amenities, bars, and restaurants in the center. This family-run business provides outstanding service and genuine hospitality. Nothing worth mentioning
- Nimrod (8/5): An affordable option with a lot of small downsides - Staff was very kind and helpful, especially Ainara (sorry if I misspelled your name 😅). Mostly clean. Location was very good, close to the main Botero square and a few museums. For 35.000 pesos a night, I'd say it's quite good. I did spot a cupple of cocroachs (mercifully outside the room) and a few mosquitoes who fisted on me. Fans above the bed were a plus, but no furniture at all made it hard to organize efficiently. Breakfast is included, but ranges from very basic (pancakes) to insulting (industrial bread and cheese, I kid you not - nothing else), depending on the day. It is impossible to get good temperature in the shower. It was ever shifting between scorching and freezing, giving you only a few good seconds in between.
- Ivonne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregor (10/5): Exceptional - In my opinion this is the best hostel I stayed here in Colombia. Lot of space, super clean, comfy beds and very good breakfast. Apart from that everyone working there are super nice and friendly. 100% recommended!!!!
- Bryan (9/5): Great hostel in central Medellin - Really clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Each dorm bed has it's own curtain, outlet, fan, and light. Super cool set up for the price. Hammock, chill space is cozy. There weren't many other guests there.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Karolina (6/5): We think we will never back - Friendly staff, possible to do laundry Really small bathroom, cold water in the shower, very basic breakfast. We had a room close to entry door which was all the time open so it was noisy and we had a gap in our door and very big cockroach in the room, terrible.
- Marieke (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing looks and relaxed personnel. Super clean and delicious breakfast.
Also close to a nice foodmarket where you can eat anything you like.
Super close to the center and supermarkt. If you are alone, maybe it's not the nicest to walk alone during the night to the hostel. Look for company.
- Nikita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Huan (10/5): great - staffs are great 、 one day tour also great
- Giorgia (9/5): Superb - Very nice hostel, cleaned and very nice people. Not far from Plaza Botero.
- Jen-yan (7/5): Good - Helpful staff
Clean The location of hostel was sketchy especially at night
Please take taxi or Uber back
Cold shower but it's in all hostels
- Martina (5/5): Wrong range quality/price for a bedroom - Although unsafe neighbourhood comparing other area, It’s not far from metro station and they offer the card to upload transport tickets. It’s 500 meters from the museum casa della memoria Wifi not really working well downstairs.
Our bedroom was without window and ventilation system, luckily the toilette had a small “window” to breathe in the night.
Breakfast was very basic and we have to wash our things under the lazy eyes of the employee who was drinking her coffee there.
The restaurants upstairs counts probably on fact is too unsafe going out for dinner there, it has a pretentious menu with high prices, that doesn’t match with hostel service.
On top of that, we asked to call us a taxi and we paid 3 times prices of what we paid at arrival.
I would not recommend, even if for one night.
- Siobhan (2/5): Not for us- wouldn't recommend - It was hot, noisy and the location was not good for the tourist site seeing. There was never warm water in the showers.
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (8/5): It’s okay but would not stay there for more then a few nights - The hostel itself is nice. Looks good and got nice accessories. Breakfast is very very basic (tea, coffee, toast, butter and jam). In my opinion better safe the money and eat outside. The people are nice there. It was a warm welcome. The private room is okay. Unfortunately was our room directly next to the bathroom and common area and without a proper wall it feels like you sharing the room with others. The surrounding area made me feel not super comfortable as it is very close to a small greenish area which is well know as a little park where you better not go. I always got an Uber which it makes super complicated when it comes to the point about just grabbing “fast” food or something else.
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional - Location everything was close to Downtown and metro system. Tha city is not safe one person in the hostel was robbed on the street; he lost his money and passport and he told us the police was not interested to help.
- Erik (7/5): Good - I was travelling with a group of 5 friends so we shared a 6 bed dorm which was spacious, with high ceilings - and the house the hostel was located in was beautiful, too. We very much enjoyed the restaurant on the first floor which had delicious lunch, dinner, drinks and even vegetarian options. Also had a laundry service so we could have our things washed! The street the hostel was located on did not feel super safe, even though nothing happpened and it probably was. The staff was not very helpful in planning a day trip to Guatapé, so we figured that out ourselves. Lastly, all but one showers were broken for some time on our last day - they quickly fixed it within an hour or two.
- Marin (8/5): Very good - The hostel is amazing. One of the best I've been to. The breakfast is great, different every day. Coworking space with good WiFi. Good location. Their Booking profile got hacked so I got scammed through their messages. But it all turned out ok in the end.
The common areas are fairly small, especially the kitchen. Also, in the morning there is loud music coming from the restaurant which is close to the coworking area.
- Verenice (10/5): Exceptional - The place is wonderful and the staff is awesome. The room I paid for was close to the restrooms and you could hear everything, and I mean everything.
- Marije (7/5): Great hostel, bad neighborhood. - the hostel itself is absolutely great! Nice staff and really clean. Nice spacious showers l, even a dry bench for your stuff outside the shower itself. The location is a Big No Go. My own fault cuz i didn't check properly. I just thought the centre would be the best place to stay. Nope!
Surrounded by homeless, prostituees and drug addicts. When i went out for food after 6 everyone looked at me and my pockets looking for a quick steel. Did not dare to look at my phone outside. Back in the hostel a guy told me he was just scammed at the atm and lost his money. The "guard' was in on it he told me
i tried to check out after 1 night but no refund possible. I did stayed another night but didn't leave the hostel for food that night. Please check if you are comfortabele with this area before you book.
- Constantin (7/5): Good -
- Bessi (8/5): Very good -
- Andrzej (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect perfect perfect 👌🏻 - I liked everything about the property! My favourite hostel to date. Super friendly and welcoming staff, very modern and clean (apart from when male guests were pissing on toilet seats and leaving their beard shavings all over the sinks - sort yourselves out), amazing to have a coworking space and strong WiFi, also appreciated the super fast laundry service, the chilling areas with hammocks, and the sofa at reception, loved that the breakfast was in the restaurant (which has wonderful staff, menu and music) but that there was also a fully equipped and spacious kitchen. The vibe is very chill and mature, so if you’re an older backpacker or working while travelling, I definitely recommend. One downside is the bunk beds, they are not bolted to the wall, so they wobble a lot, and stuff can fall down from the top bunk onto the bottom one, only one socket beside bed which is needed for the fan.
Top tip is the empanada place round the corner, to the left when you exit, super filling and 6 delicious sauces.
- Siu (8/5): Be careful the surrounding areas - The owner and the staff there are really nice, friendly and helpful. However, the surrounding areas are dangerous and bad. Lots of homeless with noise at night. My iPhone almost got robbed (~7pm) just a few blocks away from the hostel.
- Isabelle (7/5): Good -
- Victor (4/5): A place full of potential but with an important lack of management. - There is only one good thing about this place, and it is the travelers I met! Even though the location is good, it is situated on a street full of homeless people who use the sidewalk as a toilet, and you can smell it even in the reception.
Poor breakfast: bad tiny bread, one fruit, and bad coffee. Plus, there is always someone telling you to take just one or two pieces.
The housekeepers work the morning shift only, after 4/5 pm, no one takes care of cleanliness. Some unconscious people would leave dirty cups on the cowork desk, and they would stay there for days.
Bugs and cockroaches come out of the wooden floor all the time.
The bathrooms are well-distributed, but if someone else showers at the same time as you, forget about hot water.
Some people came to the dorm around 1 am, and the bed above mine was not made that morning, so the receptionist turned the light on and made it at that moment. Why not?
There are definitely places with the same bad conditions that cost less, don't expect an outstanding hostel just because of the price.
- Josiah (10/5): Exceptional - Very modern look. Felt very at home and comfortable. Every bed came with a light, fan, and plug in. Breakfast was different every day.
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lorena (7/5): Good -
- Andrés (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmad (8/5): Very good -
- Bohmova (9/5): Superb - Is new hostel, clean and modern, is very big like labyrinth inside :) Room was nice, stuff too. They didn't have hairdryer. Breakfast was very basic.
- Leah (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, really friendly and helpful staff, good location & felt safe and secure. Showers took a while to heat up
- Hyung (1/5): Good staff but not a good private room. - The staff were super nice and welcoming. I booked a private room but did not know it would be in between the lobby and kitchen and in front of a communal bathroom. There was no window in the room except for a window facing the corridor (and the bathroom). I decided not to stay in the room because I also found the room kind of too humid.
- Margarida (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - Great breakfast and cool staff. Very clean and new infrastructure When you are in a dorm that is in the second floor, you will only sleep when absolutely everybody in your room os sleeping, since the floor is made of wood and your bed literally trembles when someone is walking in the room. Everything shakes a lot
- Gisell (9/5): Superb -
- Natalia (8/5): Very good -
- Portela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alejandro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rafael (10/5): Superb hostal! 10/10 ♥️ - The house is beautiful, the staff is amazing, they really go the extra mile to keep everything clean and tidy. I love staying here and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and live the downtown experience (different than Poblado!) Staying downtown has pros and cons. You might feel insecure walking at night.
- Andreas (7/5): Good - Clean, nice building. Good light breakfast Bad wifi, from time to time extremly cold water, and a room without window tend to get bad air.
