- Isabelle (10/5): - Beautiful little getaway perfect for a dog, the gardens were immaculate and the studio was such a cool quirky design.
- Neill (10/5): - Lovely rural setting, kangaroos and emus wandering by and lots of birds. Courtyard garden with frogs in the pond. Well located for the vineyards and caves. Character property converted from an artists studio. The WiFi is quite slow which is understandable given the location
- Amanda (9/5): Paradise at Patricia's - Lovely and peaceful, beautiful gardens a very restful time Seperate bathroom facilities
- Dean (10/5): -
- Andy (10/5): A peaceful, relaxing place e to stay if you want to switch off & recharge - A very peaceful & relaxing place to stay. A lot of thought has gone into the studio to make sure that everything that you would need is available. The gardens are kept very nice & thoughtfully laid out. Looking forward to returning in the near future

- Itamar (10/5): I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a country style backdrop with an interest in privacy. - Its remoteness, no light pollution, the gardens are immaculate, the structures on property are old world looking. N/A
- Culverwell (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Paul Fairhurst (10/5): - What an amazing experience! A beautiful cottage located on a private farm, away from urban distractions. The most amazing stay I've ever experienced; being dog friendly was the only reason I chose the stay, for a last minute trip to Marget River....and what a find this was! Being in the middle of nature, surrounded by a well maintained garden and land was like a peace of heaven. Taking into consideration I travel extensively for work, and always stay in 5 star hotels, located in cities, this cottage in Witchclife was so special. I'll be returning very soon. It was absolutely perfect!

- Elizabeth (5/5): - The walled garden just beautiful Large huntsman SPIDER on ceiling over bed. And the amount of cobwebs hanging down. The spider scurried somewhere when I sprayed, so had to keep lights on all night as my fear of spiders is significant. I checked out two days early and found somewhere else to stay.
- Gillian (10/5): Great stay, away from it all! - Beautiful garden, serene location, lots of nature in courtyard garden, comfortable accommodation, great for our 2 very active dogs, excellent facilities, convenient for wineries/food/shopping. No one else at accommodation. No oven to cook. (Microwave and bbq available). Had to go outside for bathroom/toilet.
- Robert (10/5): We had a wonderful three night stay. The property is beautifully landscaped and the studio had everything we needed - A lovely setting in farm country.
- Piratta (9/5): Beautiful place filled with nature and vintage charm - The beautiful garden The bathroom was separated from the studio.
It was a cold night when I stayed so walking out of the studio to the bathroom late at night was a little inconvenient. I loved everything else
- Eric (10/5): -
- Guest (8/5): Very nice. - Beautiful gardens surrounding the property. Very cute and cosy roo. Outside toilet!
- Rina Novalina (10/5): Lovely Place to stay! - thank you for having us! it was a beautiful stay for me and my best friend, especially on my birthday trip :)
I truly loved the vintage charm of the beautiful Studio, the peaceful farm surroundings, and of course your two sweet dogs (Chester and Mini? - sorry if I’m wrong!)
Sally - the owner is such a lovely person, and staying here has been a wonderful experience :) thank you! the garden with heaps of flowers, the Chapel, and surrounding view is a top notch:)
- Emma (10/5): -
- Jason (9/5): - It's very nice and very quiet too for being on a working property. Location is great to access Witchcliffe for a morning coffee and still close enough to Margaret River. Definitely recommended. Could do with somewhere to hang clothes. And a hook or 2 to hang a wet jacket. Other than that everything is good.
- Vera (7/5): Guest satisfaction - Family farm with beautiful gardens and a rustic feel NA
- Sean (10/5): Amazing location and accommodation. - Beautiful location, very warm and cozy, great wildlife and being around the fire pit at night was amazing. Not staying longer.
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): The mud brick studio and surrounds are full of character and charm and the dog and I really enjoyed our walks around the - It was an enchanting property with so many artistic touches. We loved that it was dog-friendly. Cows, emus, birds, tall trees, vineyard: lots to enjoy walking about. Also really enjoyed seeing Patricia’s artwork in the chapel. Would have enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening if the weather had been more suitable. The internet was intermittent which interfered badly with watching tv.
- Kate (7/5): Good -
- Natasha (10/5): It was qiet - Everything Nothing
- Sujan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pascale (10/5): The perfect escape - This little cottage is the perfect getaway while having all the comforts you might need. Wifi works well but there’s plenty of DVDs and board games to keep you busy. There’s a fire pit and barbeque for you to use. The cottage and bathroom were very clean when we checked in. The courtyard is beautiful and so serene. We were able to see so many birds around the garden and property. You do share the courtyard with your hosts but they are lovely and friendly to have a chat with and will absolutely not be intrusive. It was lovely to get to meet them and their little dogs.
The Chapel of the Flowers was such a treat to get to see. It’s absolutely beautiful.
It’s a very short drive to Witchcliffe and Margaret River, so venturing out for dinner was no issue. So close to all of the main attractions in the area like the Berry Farm. N/A we can’t wait to stay again!
- Ellen (10/5): 11/10 will be attending again! - 2nd visit - absolutely adore the place so much! Sitting in the courtyard with a good book is truly blissful, or even just laying on the pavement in the sun. The frog friends visited, and my dog loved seeing the cows too. So grateful it’s doggy friendly! Superb location. loved watching the birds taking birdie baths in the evening. Thank you for sharing this magical place with us! Squeaky bed - although I sleep like a rotisserie chicken so it’s not likely to bother anyone else haha.
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant - Location was rural country side. Bathroom was outside near the bedroom.
- Anita (10/5): Lovely tranquil surroundings and a beautiful place to stay -
- Fiona (10/5): One woman and her dog - So serene! Just loved sitting in the rocking chair with a glass of wine in the courtyard watching the fairy wrens and other birds in the trees. Fun cooking on a BBQ as it's not something I normally do! Froggy friends visited 🐸
- Felicia (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mindula (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (10/5): A stunning studio surrounded by beautiful gardens, absolute paradise - Absolutely perfect , the studio was stunning, we could smell the jasmine trees outside right throughout the studio, fully equipped, loved sitting on the outside rocking chairs by the fire pit overlooking the fabulous views, so tranquil and peaceful and an added bonus 10 mins from the centre Couldn’t fault it at all
- Sabrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - The location was gorgeous, it felt so cosy and secluded, yet was only a 10 minute drive from the town, which was perfect. The shower head spray was huge, and soaked the entire bathroom. Only downside though x
- Garry (10/5): Fabulous garden studio in rural/bushland setting, with amazing garden. - Loved our stay in Patricia’s Studio, in a beautiful rural/bushland setting. It was very comfortable and was a perfect base for our visit to the region. Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful garden and birdlife. Short drive to Witchcliffe and Margaret River. Nil.
- Ellen (10/5): Paradise - Such a gorgeous magical place, I absolutely adored the place & I hope I can visit again soon. Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful place.
- Philip (8/5): Very good - Beautiful studio, well presented Outside toilet / bathroom, not very clear when booking. No hand drying facility in bathroom. Would have been handy to have a small towel in there.
Pet friendly but lacked bin outside for Pooh bags.
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Calum (10/5): Couldn't be happier with the stay at the Garden Studio. Cozy, warm and unique just outside of Margs. - The studio had a unique country charm that we really enjoyed. Everything about the stay was great!
- Cabral (10/5): Delightful stay in a pet-friendly, charming studio with breathtaking surroundings, warm and cozy. - We had an absolutely amazing stay at this charming one-bedroom studio with my husband and our dog. Although the toilet was outside, it was conveniently located right next to the studio, providing the privacy we needed. The location was perfect—close to Witchcliff and Margaret River.
The surroundings were breathtaking. The garden was filled with beautiful plants and ornaments that created a fairytale-like atmosphere.
Our hosts, Sally and her husband, were friendly and welcoming. They not only shared the fascinating history of the property but also gave us a lovely tour. One of the highlights was watching our dog have so much fun. The property is well-equipped that you might not want to leave; we enjoyed cooking on the outdoor BBQ and relaxing by the cozy fire pit with a glass of wine. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, I’d recommend bringing a portable stove.
The studio itself was warm and inviting, decorated with vibrant colors and handmade blankets that added a homely touch.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit and are deeply grateful for the memorable experience!
- Ruth (8/5): Beautiful secluded spot - Location is a little out of the way (down an unsealed road, but only 10 mins from Margaret River). It was great to be in the countryside - really relaxing and super quiet. In the middle of July we very much enjoyed using the pit fire. The garden is beautiful! Well, it was July - and having to go to the cold outside bathroom (no heating) was a bit of a challenge! Luckily it wasn't raining. The bathroom door is literally is right next to the apartment door, but that little journey outside it makes you really appreciate the luxury of indoor ablutions!
