- McNiven (6/5): Just what I ordered. - I just needed a night's sleep after a long day of travel. I wanted a clean bed and towels, hot water for a nice shower. I wanted cheap. I didn't really care about the rest. The staff were lovely. More sugar/coffee/milk type items. Took ages to work out how to turn the volume on with the telly.
- DG21 (9/5): - Convenient location The pillows might need to be updated
- Michelle (1/5): Meth lab - Close to city and beautiful walk up and down kangaroo beach It full of druggies
Had strangers knocking on the door at night looking for their dealerbandd someone walked into our room whilst we were sleeping.

- Halie (8/5): - Location, happy staff, met great ppl How they young homeless were viewed as a problem, they slept in the open area, cause they felt safe. Where is the love?
- Francisco Ricardo (5/5): -
- Ken (8/5): -
- Delwyn (5/5): - The location was perfect for the purpose of an overnight stay. My meeting venue was at a walking distance which is excellent and the bustop is right in front which is another advantage.
The staff are the highlights as they were very friendly and helpful, they explained things clearly and they have the biggest smiles, very warm and welcoming. They are superb. The room is okay but the essential items are lacking. In the room I stayed, the toilet tissue was almost finished and there were no spare. The shower had no rag, the TV was not working maybe the remote control battery was out and the fridge also not turned on. Other than that everything else was good..
- Chris (9/5): -
- Michael (5/5): -
- Amy (5/5): It was ok. Gave us a small - It was close to where I needed to be in the city. It is extremely aged, had water damage.

- Margaret (3/5): - The bathroom was excellent the man at reception was very friendly and helpful Poor quality mattress thin towels parking very limited and hard to get in and out hard to access inn if coming from Ipswich
- Jackson (5/5): Staff was not understanding of my situation and requested that if I did not feel safe to cancel the booking with no refu - It was a secluded location Window did not lock, insecure for the dv situation I was escaping from.
- maryann (5/5): The guy running very nice. - The guy running the place was nice. Off the street parking. Needs painting and mould cleaning in bathroom badly. Curtains could use an update. A lot of people coming and going all night. Pictures don’t match current state of the property online.
- Simon (1/5): Room Bordered on Uninhabitable. - The only thing going for this Motel was the Location. Close to Bus stop and and easy walk to a fantastic Pub. Good walk to the City or South bank along the river. Room B11. Mold/Mildew smell in the Bathroom, black marks in the grout. Water damaged door (looks like it was just painted over rather than repaired), Vanity unit definitely not installed by a professional. Raised step into bathroom (trip and flood hazard), no ventilation in bathroom (probably why it has mold issues). Poor water pressure and inconsistent temperature. Shower door poorly installed and doesn't close properly. Towel rail only big enough for a single towel, and no floor towel provided. Antenna for TV routed out through the window (so hole in the flyscreen for bugs to get in, and no way to close the window. Had to turn the TV off at the wall as standby light lit up the room. Air con so loud it could not be left on while trying to sleep (unit needs replacing), and room was hot and stuffy without it. No latch on the "wardrobe" to hold the door shut. Single chair for a double occupancy room.
- Danielle (3/5): It’s cheap for a reason. If you get a room upstairs then it might be okay. -

- Daniel (10/5): Cheap and great location - Cheap and good service All good
- Matthew (1/5): Room was filthy and full of bugs. I stayed a week and not once was my room or bed cleaned. Would highly recommend the pl - Location Everything but the location
- Ayesha (1/5): Great place to stay if you love sharing a room with cockroaches. - Absolutely nothing. This was genuinely the filthiest accommodation I have ever seen.
- Mumino (10/5): -
- Marie (1/5): It was a brothel!! Don't stay there!! - It was disgusting!! Dirty and cockroaches!! We couldn't stay there. It should not be listed on Booking.com!!
- Conor (8/5): -
- Padroth (10/5): - Clean and tidy, staff was friendly and helpful.
- Leanne (1/5): Bad my daughter and I still feel unwell coz of smell she has bites on her from something in the Room - I booked this property as it said it was 600 MTRS from riverstage as I have issues walking it was nowhere near it.
It was absolutely filthy I stayed with my 12 year old daughter had to sleep with just sheet as blanket was covered in stains burns pillows were disgusting one towel for 2 people no cups no spoons mould everywhere couldnt breath properly because of bleach in all honesty this place should be condemned it's not appropriate for children it's got drunks and drug addicts living there so disappointed couldn't sleep
Don't stay here.
Should not be advertised on booking .com it's an absolute dive. There's no helping this place it's not safe and it's filthy.
- Liam (7/5): Overall it was very quite, affordable and a reasonably comfortable place to stay. - How quiet it was while staying there. I enjoyed the shower pressure. It was really convenient having a fridge in there as well. The smell of cigarettes as you walk in there. The countless bugs and cockroaches running around the walls, the bed, and in my bags. I disliked the fact that there were plenty of pictures with microwaves in them, but when I got there, there was no microwave.
- Tracey (6/5): - The location & price were great for an overnight stay. The room was clean & the staff were very friendly.
- Carge (2/5): Terrible, was the cheapest hotel in the area, but not worth saving some extra $ to stay somewhere like that - Conveniently close to most things in Brisbane Terrible parking, cockroaches, smell of smoke throughout the building, could hear my neighbours whispering the walls were that thin. I was only given a thin fluffy blanket to slip with. Pillows were terrible quality and weren’t even the same size. Had to be on a constant watch as people continuously tried to get into my room.
- Pat (5/5): -
- Darren (7/5): -
- Bruce (8/5): -
- Lexi (3/5): Crusty but survivable. - It was dirt cheap and had clean sheets. Wasnt comfy, but its what youd expect for something so cheap. Room smelled heavily of bleach for the entire stay, half squished cockroaches on the walls, very thin walls so you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Someone was watching a movie in one of the other rooms until around midnight and it was quite loud, so i’d bring headphones or airpods to block out noise. Beds are uncomfy, sheets are thin and not warm enough so i’d sleep in warm clothes. The shower was pretty festy too.

- Gail (4/5): Not the best I have had, not the worst by a long way. OK for the price. - Room 11. Honestly Ok for the price. A few issues that would make the stay better.
1. Room 11 - smelled of faeces - not sure if it may have been the shower drain.
2. Room is ridden with cockroaches. I didn't care too much but I know others would move out.
3. Air con needs attention - works fine but is very noisy - again didn't really bother me.
4. Bathroom door has swelled from moisture and needs trimming up or replacing. Not a problem on my own except when using the shower - getting past it was hard.
5. It would be good to have a teatowel, dishcloth, and also a bath mat.
- Darren (7/5): -
- Amoakoh (4/5): Not good for guests until after renovation. - (1) No shower screen so bathing wets entire toilet and shower area.
(2) Air-conditioning couldn't heat up even when switched to 30 degrees Celsius so the room was very cold.
(3) Most facilities are rusty, including even the water kettle and around the sink tap. In fact, they looked very nasty so i didn't use the kettle and used the shower only once as I had no choice.
(4) No batteries in TV remote control.
The entire house needs renovation if all the other rooms have the same state as Room 10B where I lodged. The location is quite good, though.
- Ben (1/5): Diabolical - Leaving This place was a slum, I couldn't sleep as I felt like the room was going to broken into and I was going to be robbed of my belongings to sell for meth. Worst feeling. I got no sleep. Would have been better sleeping at the airport.
- Rosemary (1/5): - I didn't stay in the room I was so horrified at the whole place .
- Debbie (5/5): -
- Bruce (8/5): Overall, it was good budget accommodation for someone looking for a situation close to the CBD of Brisbane. - Overall it was value for money at the budget end of the market. The stay was comfortable and the host was charming, but it could even be further improved with the following things being rectified (1) The TV had some bars running across the screen which indicated it was on its way out. It was still able to be viewed but it was less than excellent. (2) a bath mat could have been provided as when I stepped out of the shower onto the tiled floor. I dripped water everywhere which meant that was wet when I went in later in the night to use the conveniences. (3) The room was small but comfortable.
But overall it was a 9 out of 10 experience.
- Lowri (4/5): Ok stay for the cost - Short walk to river path, walkable to South Bank and Fortitude Valley (if you enjoy a nice walk), Joey's just around the corner. Shower pressure good. Very noisy neighbours in all rooms and corridors which felt uncomfortable and unsafe at times. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, the place could do with a good upgrade. Lots of rubbish under the bed, the room felt a little bit dirty.
- Chhantyal (10/5): -
- Paul (1/5): 1 night was all I could last in this place - State of building did not match photos
- Lucy (3/5): - It was a convenient location for it's price, we were close to the city and a few restaurants and parks. Staff were also helpful and friendly. While it was a good price, you do compromise on quality a lot. The sheets smelled clean but there was a funky odour we couldn't get rid of even by spraying a disinfectant spray. We also saw a handfuf of baby cockroaches each even after killing them all.
- Sukkarieh (7/5): - The space and comfort The cleanliness of the kitchenette
- Maddison (9/5): - Cozy Nothing to dislike value for money
- Courtney (1/5): - The location The room was dirty the floors were broken the shower was cold
- Lucas (7/5): -
- Justin (9/5): -
- Alicia (6/5): -
- Jacinta (1/5): Terrible! - Nothing There was mild everywhere, curtains, windows, bathroom, walls literally everywhere, and could literally smell the mold! It was disgusting, and the worker was rude and disrespectful
- Graeme (3/5): Room was tidy, but definitely needs some pest control. - Close to the Gabba Bugs in the room, need to be a mountain goat to get up stairs from car park to reception & room.
- Theresa (4/5): -
- William (10/5): - Clean
- AUCUNE isolation
- Robert (2/5): Not to good - The toilet in the room was nice, good shower The room was not clean, bed cover had holes in it, room smelled like smoke
- Eric (6/5): -
- Brad (4/5): -
- Mariedith (7/5): - Affordable accomodation
- brad (10/5): 5 star - Everything about it , the place is immaculate 👌😜 Nothing
- Anthony (7/5): Cheap and cheerful accommodation, with helpful staff. - Cheap and close to where I needed to be for the night A little bit old and run down, but was comfortable for a short stay.
- Smith (6/5): - Reception was very helpful
- Mitchell (1/5): -
- Luke (7/5): Unique - A fairly unique experience. While navigating the carpark is challenging, and there is the smell of weed kinda wafting throughout the place, and some periodic moaning, I had quite a good nights sleep. Apparently the person in the room the previous night did steal all the tv remote batteries and hang the wall paintings upside down but that was all easily remedied. It was fine
- ElvisLeahy (7/5): Bedroom at basement prices. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location suited us for access to Brisbane City at a budget price Bathroom fan was dodgey. Screamed at me at 1am when I hit the button, lol. But then settled down. all up a bit rustic but so what. With some care and service to detail the rooms would be better presented, ie wall panels and light and power point switch covers, but all up was what I expected for the price.
- Alan (7/5): Budget stay - Was ok for the price, friendly staff. Needs a refurbishment, as a bed for the night it works. You can walk to Brisbane CBD easily. Room I stayed in needs new floor.
- Koichi (8/5): It was great ,I was hassled and enjoyed my time there. - Location N/A
