- Tcorser (8/5): Beautiful apartment, lots of potential but a few improvements needed - Beautiful location and very stylish property. It's light, bright and well-equipped. We loved the large panoramic windows and waking up to the views of nature. The beds were comfortable (although there was only one small foam pillow each). Despite being outside the apartment, the shower block was clean and the shower was great. Gumbostrand is a pretty little place and it was great for a couple of days! We were disappointed to find out on arrival that the shower isn’t in the apartment. You have to walk outside, past the main house, where the hosts (and possibly their guests) could see you, which isn’t ideal, especially in bad weather. This wasn’t mentioned in the listing. We were also surprised by a €20 fee for using the sauna, which wasn’t stated either – everywhere else we stayed, this was free. Finally, the unclear arrival instructions left us a bit wet and soggy trying to get into the wrong door (it was pouring with rain). Once inside, it took a while to figure out how to warm up the room, as there were no instructions and lots of dials. A few tweaks to the arrival/ house instructions could really help here. The property also had some building waste around and appeared unfinished. Not a huge problem but would be good to know before we stayed.
