• Joanne (10/5): Niece lives in Lewisham and this was the perfect base for our visit. - Lovely property in a nice area and just a short walk across a park to the train station which takes you directly into London. Hosts are very lovely people and we felt very comfortable in their home. Perfect place for a short city break! Nothing not to like!

• Daria (10/5): - Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns während unserer Zeit in London willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Ganz in der Nähe der Unterkunft ist ein schöner Park und es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einen Markt, Restaurants und Pubs in fußläufiger Entfernung. In die Innenstadt fährt man eine Weile, allerdings lohnt es sich auch, die Viertel in der näheren Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Katze ist ein echter Bonus!

House was really clean and comfortable, our room was a really good size for the price especially for London. It was on a quiet street so we slept well. Kitchen was available for use and the house was easily accessible by public transport.

• Dilan (9/5): Agréable séjour - Très jolie maison dans un charmant quartier ! Le couple était très gentil et a proposé un 2ème parapluie pour nos excursions. Nous avions a disposition du thé, café dans la cuisine pour nous restaurer et la possibilité d'utiliser tous les équipements pour nos repas. L'emplacement est très bien, nous étions à 10 min du métro de catford bridge et en 15/20 min nous étions dans Londres. Il y a un Aldi a 5 min à pied pour acheter les repas. La chambre était de taille correcte avec une armoire, une commode et des prises USB pour brancher tous les appareils. Le seul petit point négatif serait le matelas. C'est un matelas a ressorts en 140. Nous sommes habitués a dormir dans un 160 et sans ressorts mais nous avons quand même bien dormi.
• myriem (6/5): - Quartiers très calme . Je pensequ il serait bien de préciserqu il y a des consignes strictes sur l organisationdu logement. ( manger avec des couvertset un sandwich, enlevéles chaussuresdèsl entrée ...... ) Et qu il y a un chat .
• Arthur (8/5): Peaceful. I needed somewhere quiet where I could centre and concentrate on projects in hand and able - Breakfast was not offered .it would seem it was not included but was allowed to make myself hot beverages. Breakfast.

Koupelna a WC je sdílená s majiteli, nicméně byla koupelna stále prázdná a připravená k použití...možná by stálo za zvážení pořídit k posteli lampičky, jedno světlo je nepohodlné, ale v dané cenové hladině nic zásadního

• Chris (7/5): A place that lives up to its name! - The location was extremely quite and good value for London. It was close to shops and buses and not too far from the nearest station. The whole place was scrupulously clean. The owners were very pleasant. Having to share a bathroom and the Wi-Fi only worked for one of us.

The accommodation is very peaceful, quiet, very clean and well equipped. Very easy to find it and 30min walk from Lewisham train station ( lots of shops on the way ) which was quick for us.

• JD8388 (10/5): A fantastic place to stay and a lovely host! - A simplistic yet an amazing place with a very accommodative host.
• Tord (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is according to the pictures. Host let us use the kitchen, although this was not specified in the listing (as far as I could see). This ended up saving us a lot of money, as there is an Aldi nearby, and a Sainsbury's at the nearest train station. The listing is in a calm area with a park nearby, and the train connection is as practical as can be. Ladywell is the most practical train station, with a nice 10-12 min walk through the park leading to the property. The hostwas very welcoming and accommodating, and offered advice on things local, as well as getting into the city. Would stay again! -

• Isobel (9/5): As it says on the tin: peaceful London retreat, calm, clean and comfortable. - This booking was room only with shared bathroom but the host (Sandy) did invite me to make use of the kitchen for tea and coffee. Room was clean and comfortable and (if anything too) warm. The two railway stations Catford and Catford Bridge are within easy reach (11 minute walk) and there are many bus routes in the area. Travel into London proper is capped at £9.60 a day (December 2023) so long as you use the same card to pay for all the bits of your journey. Catford is served by two rail networks so the recent strikes did not have as much impact as they might. The cost is very reasonable for a London stay -- witness I was able to afford 13 nights! Personally felt a little awkward sharing a bathroom with a stranger but we did not clash and it worked out OK.
