• ashish (10/5): - It is a great place to spend you holiday days. The view from the apartments of just breathtaking, right on the lake. It is so a quite area away from hustles of city life, so very relaxing. Communication with the management is also very easy. They made sure our stay was the most comfortable.
• Marissa (10/5): - I love the location and view of the lake from the apartment. Well equipped with facilities. Centrally located with nearby shops and restaurants around. Good value for money. Highly recommended for small group or family. No lift. Be prepare to carry luggages to 2nd floor.

• Enara (9/5): Recomendable - Apartamento con vistas al lago Brienz. Es cómodo para cuatro personas. Buena ubicación y con opción a parking, que se agradece mucho. Un poco justo de menaje; faltaban cucharillas, vasos….
• Emina (8/5): Vue somptueuse et logement agréable ! - L’emplacement de cet appartement est exceptionnel : au cœur de Brienz, à 5’ à pieds des deux gares (train régional et train de montagne Brienz-Rothorn) et en face du lac. La vue directe sur le lac est époustouflante et est d’ailleurs l’atout majeur de ce logement ! L’appartement est idéal pour une famille (4 couchages) avec une jolie superficie. La communication avec le propriétaire s’est très bien passée (indications claires où trouver la clé et récupération de la clé par une femme de ménage lors du check-out). Propreté correcte et merci pour les dosettes à café ! Les meubles sont plutôt vieillots, certaines portes grincent (et ne se ferment pas complètement) ainsi que l’escalier pour accéder au logement. Il faudrait mettre de vrais stores pour assombrir les pièces car en raison de la luminosité, les réveils étaient très matinaux. Enfin, nous n’avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner les plaques de cuisson.

• Stuart (8/5): Wonderful, would definitely stay here again. - Location was excellent you would struggle to find a better location. The views of the lake were breathtaking and little patio for views of the Mountain was a lovely bonus. The size of the property and facilities were very good. These are not complaints just observations. Needs a little modernisation, shower was ok but would benefit from a walk in shower cubicle or at least a better shower head. Blinds for sky light windows need replaced, a couple bits of flooring need attention and the little Mountain View balcony needs tidying.

• Joseph (3/5): Owner tried stealing my deposit, do not stay here. - I've visited many airbnb's/hotels in the past few years with my family for vacation, and this will unfortunately be the first time I've ever given a property less than a perfect rating. I do not recommend this property. I'll give credit where its due and start off with the pros: 1. good location.....and thats it. The cons: 1. Awful wifi (only works in living room). 1. Property takes DAYS to respond to messages (we got lucky and managed to catch the owner at the property when we arrived as he was leaving so we could get the keys). 2. Owner was very irritated we stopped him. Got visibly irritated at any ques me or my mom asked. 3. Owner PRESSURED me into giving him a pool deposit. I said no as it was cold outside. He insisted twice and got upset I didn't immediately say yes. I was tired/jetlagged so I finally agreed. He accused me of not trusting him (I just met you man), then gave me his word and signed the invoice for the deposit. We find out the pool was very dirty so no one used it. Since we were leaving early on our last day I asked if he could send me the dep electronically. I was then ignored for 4 days and after multiple messages I said I'd contact booking .com on this & only then his team responded asking for my bank info (they even said they don't ask for a dep in advance which was odd). My bank charges $15 for wire transfers. I informed him of this and gave alternatives (paypal, zelle, directly thru booking .com, etc) and was open to other suggestions.....No response. Messaged him again. He ignores my question and asks for bank info. I gave an option to credit my debit card, and said if this was an issue to contact me again. No response. He purposefully ignored many attempts to contact him. After 3days I'm fed up and just give him my bank info exactly as he asked. Ignored. Again. Had to go thru booking .com and they 100% sided with me after I sent them a photo of his signed invoice + screenshots of our conversation. It wasn't much, but he would've stolen my money had I not contacted booking. I 100% do not recommend this hotel. The owner Casablanca is a liar. If I can detract even 1 person from staying here this review is worth it.

• Kandarp (8/5): Original Swiss 🇨🇭 home with great view. - OMG, what a lovely location its on the lake front , and just 5 minutes walk from Brienz rail and boat station we can see the lake and mountains view from all windows of the house, it’s on upper floor and slanting rooftops, original Swiss 🇨🇭 house. Slanting roof top is not comfortable for us because we are 5’10’’ hight, bathroom door lock is missing , it’s on under floor and no left in the property.u can manage the luggage upstairs by yourself.
• Aarti (7/5): Good - Cleanliness, view, location & great host. We were allowed for late checkout. We stayed in Apartment Heidi. Roofs were too low in the living room and bedroom that hit our head few times. Bathtub was very small.
• Shailesh (6/5): Charming stay with stunning views, but low ceilings and noisy stairs were inconvenient. - The location is very convenient, being close to Brienz Train Station. The flats are fully furnished, providing an authentic Swiss home feeling with a charming wooden ambiance. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. The apartment offers a stunning lakeside view and easy access to the lake walking area. The balcony is a highlight, with comfortable seating and breathtaking views of the Jungfrau mountain and other surrounding peaks. The full kitchen setup is excellent for long stays, allowing for convenient cooking. The ceiling height in the bedroom entrance area is too low, making it easy to bump your head when entering. There is limited space above the bed due to the sloped roof, which can be uncomfortable. Parking charges are not included and need to be paid extra. The dedicated parking slots are small and parallel, causing some inconvenience. There is no lift, so you need to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor. The wooden stairs make noise while walking, which can be disruptive.

• Jawad (9/5): Amazing view - Great location, good parking, the view from the property was breath taking. I would likely be staying again. The apartment was a little dusty and appliances a little old. But everything worked and it wouldn't put me off staying again, especially for the price point. If you have young children be careful as some of the windows are very low.
