After 26 hours in transit, I cried and took a taxi : $42 On the return, no shuttle available. Hotel paid for taxi. Weird smell. Hotel is in the middle of NOWHERE. We felt trapped, really depressed. Supposed to stay 5 nights, only lasted 2

Close to the airport and easy to access main thoroughfares. Comfy bed. Corridors missing plaster and paint at corners. Looking a bit tired in some areas. Shower controls a bit fiddly.

In our suite the furniture, along with the bathroom ceiling is in need of updating &/or repairs. Neither detered us from our stay, but could been seen negatively by other guests.

• Marion (6/5): My conference was downtown but I booked here because I loved my last stay. I am so disappointed. - I did like the breakfast and overall the room was clean When I first check-in one staff looked at the computer while she was booking me in and said, "is there a reason why you're putting her in that room?" and the other staff replied, "it doesn't matter, she's alone." So I don't know what that meant, but it was strange. I then asked if they still had the drinks for happy hour (which I loved during my last stay) and she said no, but when I came down the next day, everyone was having their drinks in the lobby. The worst part was when I went up to my room- as I was getting settled in I could hear someone outside of my door, so I yelled out, "Hello!" with no reply. She then proceeded to scan a card (I could hear it and yelled hello again) and WALKED RIGHT INTO MY ROOM. It appeared that she was one of the cleaners and she had an ear piece in and was talking to someone and didn't hear me call out to her. She looked SURPRISED to see me, said sorry and walked out. She didn't even knock. She shouldn't have an ear piece in when she's working. I don't know why she needed to even go in there. I was so put off after that, but felt too awkward to tell the front desk.

• Michaela (8/5): Ordentliches Hotel nahe Airport. - Schöne Aussicht im 9.Stock bis zu den Rocky Mountains. Großes Zimmer. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Kostenfreie Tiefgarage. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen hört man gelegentlich ein startendes Flugzeug. Man braucht ein Auto um leichter/schneller in die Stadt zu kommen. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln braucht man ca. 45- 60 Minuten.

• Keith (7/5): Good value, clean rooms and modern amenities - The staff was incredibly friendly and the accommodations were pretty nice for the money, though the lighted mirror in the bathroom didn't work (weird considering how new the hotel is) The free breakfast was great (lots of selection) and the free beverages upon check in were a nice touch (we sat at the bar by the entrance and chatted with other guests till last call) Underground parking is ample and heated. Would definitely say it's one of the better hotels we've stayed at in Calgary over the years.

• Alexandre (1/5): Extremely disappointing stay - Nothing I stayed for 8 nights and left thoroughly disappointed. This hotel has multiple serious problems that made the experience unpleasant and, at times, uncomfortable. The carpet in the room was visibly dusty and hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. It triggered breathing difficulties every night, especially for anyone with allergies or asthma. The shower had very low water pressure and noticeable black mold around the tiles and grout – clear signs of poor maintenance and a potential health hazard. On Sunday at 4 pm, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed and me shouting that I was inside, a housekeeper opened the door with her key and walked in while I was undressed. This was a shocking breach of privacy and left me feeling violated and unsafe in my own room. The underground parking garage has extremely tight spaces and narrow lanes. Even with a standard-sized car, maneuvering in and out was stressful and risked scratches or dents. Breakfast is prepared in an open kitchen where basic food-safety rules are routinely ignored: cooks wore no hair or beard nets, floors and counters were dirty, and front-desk staff constantly wandered in and out, joking and chatting with kitchen workers instead of maintaining a hygienic environment and minimizing risks of cross-contamination. Lastly, they sneaked in a charge for one extra night without advising me or even invoicing me! They literally robbed me and refuse to refund me. Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, mold, privacy invasion, and lax food-handling standards made this one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your stay.

• Curtis (3/5): Avoid it if you can - The hotel location is nice, and it looks modern. Parking is terrible if any is available. The garage door sensor is busted and takes several attempts to exit. Three other guests were complaining when I checked in after a long flight at 11 pm. in the evening. Took a while to check in due to this. Finally got into my room, the shower was broken, the bathroom was dirty, mold in the shower, and the walls on either side were moldy as well. The front desk wasn't helpful and told me to wait for the manager in the morning. Manager didnt show up (suprise).got a phone call 5 hours after checkout telling me they'd give me $15 dollars in points instead of a refund or partial refund. Very poor maintenance and cleanliness for a Marriot listed hotel. The coffee machine in the morning took over 20 minutes to get a coffee, and several people had issues getting their coffee when it was their turn. I wouldn't ever recommend or stay here again, especially for what they charge several other hotels much better suited for your needs.

More variety and complex dishes which felt quite thought out. That being said, it was still great. We booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. When we got to the room, it was just a regular sofa. So I went down to the front desk to tell them. One woman, she was very helpful, trying to rectify the situation. Other woman came in (she felt like she had more seniority) and said that it was a sofa bed. That I just had to fold it out. Multiple times I told her it was not a sofa bed, just a regular sofa. I had to go and take pictures of the sofa itself for the issue to be solved and for them to believe I know the difference between a sofa and a sofa bed. We probably won’t stay here again. But we have stayed here in the past and it was great! This time, it really wasn’t due to that.

• Qanitalillahi (7/5): Good Family Vacation. - This experience was excellent for our family. The location was favorable. I appreciated that it included a kitchen equipped with all the essential utensils. I would have favored higher levels for an improved view. Upon entering the room, I found the place to be excessively dusty. It could have been better organized. I believe that an electric kettle would have been a very useful addition to the room. Although the breakfast was satisfactory, I feel that having a variety would have been appreciated after two days of the same breakfast selection, as we all appeared to be somewhat bored.
