• John (10/5): Best place to stay if you are Cruising from Brisbane. - This motel is older but that is ok. Most of the room was new. Its attraction is the host family will take you to the cruise port for 5$A. So location is not an issue. It is close to the airport but not at the airport so your Uber/taxi is less than other motels. The owners/family were very nice. If I cruise out of Brisbane again I will stay here. The price is right and the transportation is right. Some plates would have been nice. Has microwave and tea kettle and fridge.
• Pru (6/5): A budget stay, utilitarian in tired facilities, clean and tidy, no people anywhere, all entry and exit via notices and c - The price was low It was a long way from the airport and a busy (free) bus ride wound its way to the hotel

Comfy bed. Right beside Hamilton Hotel so it’s very convenient for dinner. Also 5 minutes walk from the City Cat jetty if arriving via public transport. Getting very tired. A well used Motel. Needs painting out and some new curtains and carpets.

So close to the road that every car door sounded like mine....and everytime anyone in the complex closed their door my windows rattled.. otherwise it was clean (ish). Ohh... And the light switch was hidden behind the pillows!

• ILENIA (7/5): - Gli spazi della stanza, la pulizia, e la disponibilità della struttura nel risolvere alcune problematiche. Il posto dove è situato sembra un po' fatiscente, e seppure sono 11 km dall' aeroporto con i mezzi di trasporto ci metti 40 minuti e i taxi Uber non hanno tariffe così competitive per i pochi km di distanza.Io poi sono dovuta andare e tornare più volte perché la compagnia aerea mi aveva perso il bagaglio, e se non scegli la soluzione "shared" è un bagno di sangue. Il pick up offerto dalla struttura c'è solo in due ore alle 6 e alle 8 di mattina, questo nella mail a prenotazione con booking non era specificato.

The room was good .and the communication with the staff was great the beds were comfortable would stay again . Good price for what it is. A little a bit mold in bathroom behind the door it was the size of Aussie 50c apart from that nothing bad about it

• Heather (3/5): - When we asked for something staff responded positively Windows were left open to the verandah prior to our arrival. The neighbours were smoking on the verandah and our room stunk of cigarette smoke. The door did not fit into the door jam properly, so as the neighbours continued to smoke on the verandah, the smoke filtered into the unsealed doorway. I am asthmatic and this was a real issue for me. There was no crockery and cutlery in the room (as advertised), staff tried to tell me it needed to be requested - I checked the booking details and it was definitely included in the booking. The advertised free shuttle bus service to the airport was no longer free. The booking was made for self catering and free shuttle bus service.

And late check in was handy getting in on a late flight. I've stayed at a lot of budget places but have always had the mind set of yeh its cheap and outdated, but at least it's clean... this place was atrocious!. Immediate strong smell of old sweat/urine when you walked in and on closer inspection of the beds..well... it made me want to just turn around and walk out. Unfortunately I was so tired from travel I picked the "cleanest" of the 3 beds and got a few hours sleep. Then was out of there as soon as I could(without a shower as it was covered with weird bugs). I don't think of myself as having high expectations but I wouldn't let my dog sleep on these beds.

• Linda (9/5): Great location to airport and comfortable bed - Comfy bed, close to pub for dinner and 15mins to airport. Closed window before going out and came back to cigarette smell in the room. Opened door and window and put aircon on to get rid of the smell. The decor was bland not like the photos on booking.com. No retro artworks, doilies or colourful bedcovers/cushions. Only 1 vase of fake flowers remained. Bring back the retro artworks!

The location - it is nowhere near the airport and to call itself the Airport Riverview Motel is very misleading. 2. The room - rips in the curtain, faulty light in the bathroom, no lightshade in the lounge/bedroom.
