Guest Reviews

- Waindok (10/5): Nice Place to stay while discovering London! - I really loved the cute Apartement at Lavender Hill in London Battersea so much. It is well equiped, feels cozy and to me like my home while I stayed in London. Battersea is a lovely neighbourhood with nice people, Battersea Park and the River Thames just a short walk away, beautiful Battersea Powerstation is close and everything you need for your everyday life is around. I would love to come back, hopefully soon. Thank you so much, Atila!

- Hannah (8/5): - Good location for our evening at Brixton academy. Lots of cafes, bars, shops in the high street. The apartment had all the essentials you needed for a stay. Communal areas are in need of attention. Sound proofing is.poor. Water pressure for shower isn't great. Cracked window in living room means traffic noise is pretty loud
- Alex (7/5): The flat is good value for the area it's in it is dated but for me staying on my own it was fine - The flat itself was okay but the entrance is pretty grotty I wanted a flat close to Clapham

- Deborah (5/5): Expensive stay which felt like traffic was actually in the room. - Very helpful person on messaging. All facilities, if basic. Very noisy. Very hot but unable to open window because of noise. Lots of stairs in grubby entry. WiFi erratic so no TV. Cheap bedding.
- Koneill1992 (10/5): Comfortable bright apartment - Very clean, comfortable apartment which is a great base - good public transport links. Both the bed and sofa bed were really comfortable
- Ella (7/5): Good -
- Anna (6/5): Cozy base for exploring - Location very good. Good base for exploring the city. Fairly clean. Rich equipment (kettle, fridge, toaster, washing machine and plenty of heaters). Strong wifi. Beds quite comfortable. Several things in the apartment need repair or replacement. However, the most annoying thing was the fact that almost all shelves, cabinets and drawers were cluttered with the owners'/administrator's stuff (despite the fact that the apartment has a storage room). There was no place to put our stuff away, even though we had really little with us.
- Dwayne (6/5): Grant location, very clean appartment, a bit old and shower was terrible - Location was great. Shower was terrible. They added a external device as maybe the boiler doesn’t work well in the winter
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Georgia (7/5): Good for a couple of days, however a little tired in some areas - There was a lot to like about this property. The location is fantastic. The 87 bus runs all the way to Trafalgar Square, or multiple buses to the tube or quick walk to multiple stations. The property was very clean on arrival. The host provided plenty of towels and bedding, there was laundry detergent and kitchen basics which were very welcomed. A good Tv with all the apps. Surprisingly for a small flat there was enough space for suitcases as well. The bed was pretty comfy too. If you aren’t familiar with old Victorian terraces this isn’t the property for you, it’s pretty tired and there were a few things which I don’t think you can charge people money to stay until they are fixed. The window held together by tape, broken kitchen cupboards and general tiredness throughout. We didn’t feel like it was good value for money, London is so expensive but it still was overpriced (in our opinion!) definitely only big enough for 2 people.
- Cameron (10/5): Great stay, highly recommend and will come again in future stays in London . - Convince to London central
- Denidlv (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing host, comfortable and clean beds, fully stocked kitchen and location with good connections to city and airports
- Mark (1/5): Never again. - Almost nothing. There was tea, that was ok. The flat is dirty, the paint is peeling, there is mold, the living room window is broken and held together with tape, the bath side panels are broken in, the plates, pans, cutlery and cups were dirty, I had it wash everything before I used it. The duvet was thin, it was cold. The stairs were disgusting and smelt bad.
- Meryem (10/5): We just loved it! - The property was fresh clean, everything needed was there. The position is the right compromise for distance from the centre and the price. It is facing the road so there is a little bit of noise but not something that the warmth and the cosiness of the apartment won’t fix!
- Archie (10/5): Family get together - Great location, apartment clean everything we needed. Lots of great pubs and places to eat. Nothing, all great 👍
- Vasco (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Daria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): We had a great weekend, visited new locations around London, would definitely stay there again. - Great location Neede More tea bags, only one in the pot.
- Rebecka (8/5): A charming, well appointed apartment. - Clean and well ventilated, which was really appreciated in the heat wave. Comfortably furnished and close to shops. Bathroom was a little run down. The cooker in the kitchen had an issue where the top right hob turned on and heated up by itself even when the dial was in neutral. It only turned off when switched off at the wall. This would have been good to know about beforehand as potential fire risk if not spotted and left on.
- Akos (9/5): Superb - Location was very good, close to Clapham junction and to the park. Also close to many major bus lines. The flat is equipped with everything needed. The noise from the high street was quite high due to the single glazing windows, but you can get use to it (or use earplugs during the night as I did) 🙂. The starwell is a bit dirty (but that does not belong to the flat).
- Jennifer (5/5): It was pleasant, the only problem was taking my suitcases up and down those stairs. - The location was ideal Too many stairs to get to the apartment
- Claire (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights! - Perfectly situated - easy to find. Really lovely finishing touches inside that made it feel homely. A true little gem and we’d happily stay again!
- Anonymous (5/5): good location, but was not worth the money at all. i doubt it was even cleaned before out stay. - location very dirty, greasy foil was left in the oven, and oil was splattered all over the oven, the whole kitchen wasn’t clean overall. the shower curtain was covered in dirt and some sticky brown material, we were disgusted to go in the shower. the staircase was extremely filthy as well.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Riedzuan (6/5): average - location 3rd floor and renovation works on 4th floor
- Alice (5/5): Passable -
- Sophie (9/5): Superb - Lavender Hill Apartment is a great location. It's about a 10-15min walk from Clapham Junction train station. There's a supermarket about 8mins. The apartment was the perfect size for someone travelling solo and the host was super helpful in the lead up to my arrival.
- Margaret (6/5): Owner very helpful, flat basic but in a good location. - The location, comfy bed. The flats were being renovated, builders just leaving when we arrived. Hallway and stairs a mess with plaster falling off and dust sheets blocking up the next floor. Flat very small and basic, clean on the surface but needs work doing in the bathroom and kitchen.
- Jolita (6/5): Pleasant - Good location. Comunication with the host was perfect. Sofa bed wasn't comfortable for two persons. Apartment needs general cleaning. There was noisy at night because of busy street. Dirty staircase.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb - Atila was a fantastic host. Thanks to you and Jefferson for your help wherever needed. The flat is great. Clean, small but perfect for our needs. Super connections to London. Great coffee restaurant and pubs nearby. Felt very at home. All good. Exceeded expectations.
