- Deguara (8/5): The host was very accommodating with letting us stay until or flight. - It was convenient and close to everything. Shower.
- Olinka (6/5): - Location
- Richard (8/5): - Price Climbing stairs
- Doug (9/5): -
- Donna (5/5): Very average. - The room needs refurbishing. It looks very tired. The beds don’t have power points near them which made it hard for ,y husbands sleep apnea machine. The kitchenette was very limited. And other guests were not so pleasant to be with.

- Mareesa (7/5): Property is old but clean and safe, a great find for travelers on a budget. - Location was great, close taxi ride to airport and close to buses. The price was budget, everything was clean. Furnished with cups, plates etc.
Contact was responsive and helpful. We were on first floor, didn’t think about this when booking as we had a lot of luggage. No lift.
- addz (3/5): - TV The place was not clean at all, the facilities were old, for example the electric fry pan was buckled and took forever to cook, the stove top didn't work, the bathroom was disgusting: the drain plug was rusted. All in all very disappointed 😔
- Alfreda (6/5): - That it's privately owned. The mattress
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent! - Loved the spacious well equipped and clean room.
- Darren (8/5): -
- Finlay (9/5): -
- Colin J. (7/5): The apartment is well equipt and value for money with a supermarket and other food outlets near by. - The apartment provided all the required facilities. The beds were passable and could be better improved by upgrading the mattress and pillows.
The shower over bath, although hot and good shower head, was also difficult to safely use for older persons like us. The pending future improvements to renovate the bathroom and kitchenette will be a positive improvement. Overall the unit was exceptional value for it nightly charge compared to many of the other units for short term hire in the area and I would not have any concerns recommending it to others. The unit is locate in North Cairns and only a short distance from the airport so aircraft noise can be annoying. The unit is also on the first floor which also allows any road noise and other apartment noise to be annoying during the day. The area was quiet after around 10 PM so it did not greatly affect our normal sleeping.

- Todd (9/5): Superb -
- Todd (8/5): Very good -
- Alesha (3/5): Do not recommend especially for the price - Location to airport. Access after hours was easy, although dodgy. Room had hairs in bathroom and kitchen, not very clean. Floor was filthy. Our balcony door had no lock, they had put a makeshift one it. Very old and rundown, seems to have a lot of people who live there permanently, who are different characters. At front entrance, there was a half bottle of fireball, a used drug bag and cigarette butts everywhere. Only stayed one night due to a flight layover - would never return. Didn’t feel safe with kids.
- Debbie (1/5): Bad - Nothing that I had been told was in my room for the booking was made available and when concerns were brought up, they were met with ridiculous claims. We lasted 30 mins in the room before handing back the keys and going elsewhere.
- John (1/5): Unreliable and cancelled booking on day of the stay despite booking over a month in advance - Property cancelled booking the morning of the stay leaving us stranded.
- Hoang (5/5): Passable -
- Cynthia (7/5): It was a good value for money for what it was. - The room is spacious, comfortable and has a bathtub. There is also a stove to cook and other basic kitchen amenities and utensils. Location was relatively close to the esplanade and city centre. Electronic key system for better security. There is no elevator. It was a bit hard to carry heavy bags. Next door guests were noisy after hours. It would be great to have after hours quiet time house rules or better sound proof room. Maybe it’s time for a refurbishment as well.
- Monica (5/5): Passable -
- Tiana (8/5): Very good - Room itself was great for a private booking. All facilities besides the private owned room.
- Salomon (1/5): Poor Service and Misleading Information - Unfortunately, some properties advertised for holidays are not suitable for visitors, and that was sadly the case with our recent stay. The pictures the owner advertised did not match what we experienced at all.
The photos we took during our stay reveal a much different and disappointing reality. We feel that this is misleading for visitors and tourists who trust that the accommodations will be as advertised.
To make matters worse, the owner mentioned that the building is actually **meant for people coming from the hospital for recovery**, which makes it even less appropriate as a holiday destination.
Given our experience, we believe this property should not be marketed for holidays, and we are requesting a full refund for our stay. The staff was disrespectful,
lacked customer service, and misled visitors about the area, which wasn’t suitable. I’ve requested a refund and wouldn’t recommend this place.
Check out the maintenance bars all over for security reasons 😧
- Tania (8/5): Very good value for money easy check in - Great location value for money all in all plesent stay
- Cheng (5/5): Passable -
- Diane (7/5): Pleasant - Shower was good. Bed was comfortable The stairs were difficult to carry a case up
- Joanne (2/5): This property should be removed. The owner has no idea how to deal with customers and made accusations about me being a - Cost Location, cleaniless, staff attitude, attack by owner on who I am.
- André (8/5): Great place for a couple of days - Great for a short period Facilities outside the room look a bit old .. instructions for check in weren’t explained in advance
- Tate (4/5): It's not a property that we would stay at again. - The room was clean and comfortable, thank you. The room was fine. The building was really dirty. Stairs to level 1 were dirty. Pool was green. Weeds everywhere. We didn't stay the second night. We left early after the first morning and found alternative accommodation. There was a lot of activity throughout the building into the early hours of the morning and we couldn't sleep. It was very noisy and disturbing.
- Kerry (2/5): Very poor -
- Grahame (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Sibi (1/5): Bad -
- Stephen (8/5): Great hotel close to the city. - Close to the city, pubs and shopping. The room was quiet and a very good size. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the refrigerator was a good size. The airconditioner worked well. The room was very light at night. The pillows were hard. The check-in was not well managed due to room cleaning confusion.
- Shantanu (8/5): Spacious 2-bed accommodation in Cairns - Good location and value for money. It's next to a busy street and it gets noisy in the daytime.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Mccutcheon (3/5): Poor - Comfortable bed clean facilities Constant noise from unit above, reception didn't want to know me, apparently it's an Air BB. No milk to make coffee, no wine glasses, glass sliding door lock not working. No washing machine or dryer as stated on booking.
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Digital keyless door entry
Close parking, some available behind gated area if space
Decent sized tv
Bed comfy
The nearby bakery Old looking needs work
Cleanliness of room
Cooking facilities basic and need updating
Bathroom quite dated, needs work
No flywire on sliding door, not great for bug entry
Road noise and above room quite noisy
- Fiona (6/5): Pleasant - Apartment itself was clean, tidy and spacious. I liked that there were the added extras like spices, condiments, garbage bags, washing up stuff etc. Lovely touch. I didn't love the complex itself. The front office looks very unorganised and dirty The greeting I got from the hotel staff wasn't a great start to my stay
The aircon was very noisy and the bathroom door wouldn't close.
- Ellen (9/5): Superb - Room was nice, clean and Great location. No pillowcases for extra pillows.
No signal on Television.
No Wifi? Couldn't find a wifi box or Password.
- Luh (10/5): Exceptional - The room is very clean and tidy.
- James (10/5): Northern adventure - Massive apartment, with 2 large beds, sofa and dining area. Well equipped, with lots of little extras such as sun cream, laundry tabs and insect repellent. The complex has a swimming pool, bbq and laundry. A little bit out of the centre, but close to supermarket and takeaways. Instructions for accessing apartment were not as clear as they could be. One bed was very saggy and uncomfortable, the other was perfect.
- John (7/5): Good -
- Matthew (6/5): Pleasant -
- Scott (6/5): Pleasant -
- Talor (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wood (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luis (8/5): Very good -
- Sian (6/5): Managers of apartment complex was very rude (not the actual host). Difficult to get check in details -
- Marcus (8/5): Very good -
- Alisha (8/5): Very good - Prime location, great beds, cute little pool with the waterfall going off in the morning and late at night, perfect to fall asleep goo Some construction was going on was a bit noisy during the day
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - The room was perfectly adequate for the price and provided a good base to visit the many local attractions. There is a basic lack of communication between the owner of the room and the managers of the complex. The managers had no idea which room we were meant to be staying in, or how to unlock the door. Fortunately, we got on to the owner and she sent us the necessary information.
Both parties were pleasant to deal with, but they need to get this sorted out, especially the owner, and talk to each other, as it's not fair to their clients.
- Natasha (8/5): Very good -
- Rafael (8/5): Good place to stay, but wifi did not work - All was correct, and room big enough The wifi connection was not available the 2 nights we spent there. There is no reception, all problem must be solved calling or texting to the owner. Slightly far from city center (25 min walk)
- Anthony (6/5): Good value for money accommodation in a convenient location, -
