Nos esperaron hasta que llegamos a las 3 de la madrugada porque nuestro vuelo se retraso. Las instalaciones muy limpias. La calle donde está ubicada es poco transitada en la noche y en un primer momento parece poco segura. Sin embargo, durante el día la percepción y la vida cambia totalmente a mejor.

• Laura (6/5): I should’ve paid a bit more for something better. - The location was good. The washer and kitchen were helpful. The staff helped us get an iron. It felt dirty not gross but not clean. It smelled weird and the towels did not smell or feel clean. I felt bed bugs crawling over me at night and biting. The community kitchen was dirty.

• Adela (2/5): The Location Can’t Make Up for Everything Else - At first, we were honestly in shock, but as they say — you get used to everything. We were exhausted and didn’t need much: a bed, a shower, and a toilet were enough for us at that point. However, for travelers seeking comfortable and clean accommodation, we would not recommend this place. Upon arrival, we weren’t able to enter the room right away, as the ceiling had been sprayed with a strong chlorine-based disinfectant (Savona) to treat visible mold. The smell was overwhelming, and we couldn’t use the room until the evening. Unfortunately, we barely slept that night because of the lingering odor. Also, the host had problems with the already agreed time of check-in planned for 14.00 since the room was still not ready. He let us stay in our room late in the evening. Cleanliness was also a major issue — the floor hadn’t been mopped in quite some time, tables were dusty, and the shower had only been rinsed superficially. Under the shower mat, it was only cleaned because we lifted it ourselves before leaving. The one real advantage was the location — about a 5-minute walk from the main train station and around 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the city center and landmarks like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Unfortunately, the common kitchen through which we entered the room smelled very unpleasant and couldn’t be properly ventilated. The walls were thin, and during our last night, there was loud banging from the floor above, which disturbed our sleep. There was also no balcony or terrace, despite this being advertised in the listing. On top of that, it took 15 minutes after our agreed check-out time before the host arrived. The shower also required about 20 minutes of running water before it got warm. Overall, aside from the location, this accommodation didn’t meet our expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others.

• Alex (7/5): Decent stay - The bed was comfortable, the AC was working properly and positioned correctly. We had access to Netflix. Location was great, near Roma Termini. Friendly helpful and trustworthy host, were there for us when we needed to get inside, as established beforehand. Overall everything was decent. 7/10 After checking the room, we have been refunded the pre established deposit. I recommend that any issue you may have, must be reporded in timely manner to the host for best communication. Shower cabin could have been cleaner. Warm water depends on the bidet setting for both rooms, meaning that the tap position in the other room can cut on your warm water supply. (at least what I understood from the guest) We appeciated that we found toothpaste at the booking, however we found it funny that it was diluted with water. No bug nets, cannot sleep with open window. The fact that we had to call the host everytime to open the main door was something new for us. I understand that it is in process of change, but it feels like asking for too much, having a person to come help you eveytime you need to enter the apartment. Even though they assured us that they are available at all times, it felt that we were annyoing them with calling everytime for them to open, which also made us limit our exits just to not disturb that much. As friendly the hosts, they tend to get too involved with checking the items, even when there was not necessarily the case, again something very new to us. As a suggestion, I recommend highlighting the location on the street door as well, as it was a bit difficult to find it at first, as numer 39 in within the buildings, not on maine street. To conclude the weak spots of the accomodation, I highly recommend that cleanliness is done more thoroughy, especially in the bathroom (taps, corners) so that there is more balance between standards and actual conditions.

• Shannon (5/5): does the job and is clean and comfy, vibes were a little weird especially with the door being broken - location was good and the room was very clean and comfy with working wifi, the sister who let us in was very lovely the front door was broken and we needed to meet someone who would let us inside throughout our stay. also, did not realise that the kitchen was shared. and there was a pair of mens shoes in the room when we arrived?

• Petra (7/5): Good - The host was very nice and approachable, and there all the time if we needed him. Apartment is small and tidy, but pretty good value for money. Location is also great and you can go anywhere by foot. We didn’t have a key to the main doors of the building, so we had to call the host every time we entered the building, which was kind of unnecessary, don’t understand why he didn’t gave us the keys.

• Sandra (8/5): Wonderful hosts who aim to please - Our hosts, a mom and son, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They seem new to hosting, so it might take a few more guests before they figure out what most travelers want/like/need, but they are eager to please, very pleasant, and accommodating. Room was nice and quiet. The location was very convenient! The only way to enter our room was to contact the host, who then buzzed us into the building and then met us at the suite to unlock the main door. From there we had a key to our bedroom. The host was always on site and always very prompt to meet us at the suite. We never had to wait. It is a very safe, secure system, but if you are coming and going a lot from your room, always buzzing the host might feel awkward. A thorough cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom was needed.
