The address may be confusing because it has access from 2 sides. One side is from the stairs and the other from the road. So make sure you are getting to the side of the road. The local taxi does not understand English, so best option is to book Uber and explain to the driver

• Carisa (10/5): We want to live here. - The apartment is huge and very modern. It has two balconies and an exceptional view. We didn't want to leave. People who have mobility issues may have a hard time walking all the way down to the old town - it's a lot of steep stairs.

Het geeft een prachtig uitzicht op de oude stad. In- en uitchecken ging heel vlot. Er is goed contact met Diana. Naar de oude stad gaan is veel trappen doen, maar met Uber geen probleem. Ik heb 100% genoten van mijn verblijf in Dubrovnik en van het appartement. Niets.

• Natalie (9/5): Beautiful apartment with amazing view - Beautiful and spacious apartment of contemporary design. The view is amazing - we can sit at the balcony for hours just enjoying the view of Dubrovnik without the crowd. The apartment is very well equipped. Special thanks for Diana our host who was very responsive and attentive. If coffee is important to you, please remember to prepare your own. No coffee capsules.

• Julie (9/5): Fabulous views, great apartment - The property was superb: very comfortable, modern and spacious. All the amenities and bedding were high quality. From both the balconies there were spectacular and expansive views of Old Town and the sea. We expected the walk into the town would be steep but it was manageable. Communication and check-in was very straightforward. The host was very prompt and friendly in responding to and resolving a couple of issues we had.

• Anyka (10/5): Exceptional - The view is absolutely stunning, the apartment is spacious and comfortable. The stairs to the old city are steep- but it's very easy to take a taxi or drive (and it's about a 5 min drive to Pile Gate)

Best of all : the parking and the elevator for the lugagge The directions to the parking entrance were not clear at all The google maps indications they gave us were wrong The apartment has a locations from the stairs that is different from the location of the parking Weve called after 30 minutes driving around and the person who answered was not able to explain the location to us Parking was no indicated from the street and it was really dark Bathrooms were not very clean and smells bad The kitchrn was not clean either,Inside drawers and cabinets was very dirty even the plates and forks . No kitchen towel And the last very important issue...the 15 minutes walk to old center is not a walk....its 20 minutes of deep stairs! We did it once and we needed to stop in the middle and call a uber Weve used uber every time A pitty because if this issues were solved it was a five stars apartment!
• Dana (10/5): Excellent apartment - Beautiful new apartment with style. Free parking and easy to handle the luggage. Beautiful view of the old city. Privacy for each room . If you like long showers, you need to plan a head the second shower. Coming back from old town a taxi is needed. ( recommended bolt 6 euros) otherwise you need to climb about 500 stairs.

The decoration was so comfortable with thoughtful and pretty things placed around that we felt like home. The nice beddings were super clean. The view of the old town from the big balcony was awesome. Free parking was provided on the root top with a lift to the apartment for unloading luggage. The host was super helpful, giving us clear instructions to get to the apartment. Everything was perfect. We were not willing to leave such a wonderful apartment.

Highly recommended. Location of the apartment could be difficult to find if one is not familiar with the roads in Dubrovnik and if one arrives at night, as the entrance to the carpark was not lit (I missed it the first time and drove right past it).
• Roger (9/5): We had a very enjoyable stay for our two nights. - The apartment was excellent, with high quality furnishings and wonderful views of the old city. While the steps down to the city can be a challenge, the standard of the accommodation certainly made up for this. The AC was great, cooling the apartment very quickly. The bed mattresses were terrific, as were the the showers and bathrooms.. A couple of small welcome items in the fridge such as some fresh milk would have been nice. Also some simple instructions on how to access the stairs to go down to the old city.

Getting to old town is easy as long as you don't mind walking down steps. We used Uber for getting back to apartment at nights. 514 steps up is a bit much after dinner/drinks, lol.

• Clement (10/5): Great view, great rooms, good with a free parking space. - AMAZING view of course! Free parking spot at the roof top, and instructions were spot on. Easy to access keys. Rooms are big with extra storage spaces. Great for family with 2 bed 2 bath. Huge balcony to enjoy the amazing view. It's very close and easy to walk down to the cable car station, but walking up I would recommend an Uber. Owner responded to questions in reasonable time. Washer but no dryer, but there are hangers/racks to dry clothes. We took an uber to the address and they drop off at the bottom which requires a walk up the steps, so you will need to put in an address that's closer to the top where the parking is!
• Erin (10/5): Beautiful apartment and view. Enjoyed our stay! - Loved the incredible view of old town and the location was good. The apartment was very nice. The parking for our rent car was good and the elevator a plus for unloading bags. Not a negative of the property, but just be aware there are pretty steep stairs leading down to get to old town. Fine for most, but a lot for seniors and those not fit. Can Uber if not wanting to take stairs though.

A bit far from amenities, and downhill walk to old town, but that is ok considering the views..Very friendly staff. Amenities were good including a full kitchen and spacious rooms. Parking right on the highway, follow the directions given by owner

It was very clean and tidy, we felt like home. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipt with everything you need. The host was very kind and friendly. It is a big bonus that it has parking space, because there everywhere is paid and it is really expensive. It is just a 10 minute walk from the old town. I strongly recommend it and we will be back for sure!

• Gate (9/5): Wonderful apartment with beautiful sea and sunset views (when not blocked by construction crane) - Apartment was in great location and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped. Check-in was easy with the instructions provided. Parking lot was located right off the main road for easy access. Lots of steps to get down to Old Town. We walked down the steps one time in the morning and would not recommend walking down at night as the area is pretty dark. We used Uber for the rest of our stay and the cost for the ride was under 10 euros each way. Cheaper in the evenings when traffic and crowd were lighter. Construction work was being done along the hillside below the apartment and the view was partially blocked by the crane. It would have also been nice if TVs are available in the bedrooms. Guest bathroom shower was clogged and water spilled out to the floor. We had to remove lots of hair from the drain to help water drain faster.

Spacious and with a beautiful view on the old town. the air-conditioning was definitely a plus as it was really hot outside. Having 2 bathrooms was also a luxury. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is present. A minor suggestion: a waste bin in the bathroom might also be practical. And people need to be aware that if you plan to do everything on foot, you have to do about 500 steps to get up to the apartment. We didn’t mind, that is good cardio training but if you are not fit or used to it, it can be a bit hard.

• Anna (10/5): Absolutely AMAZING! - First of all, Diana's apartment was absolutely amazing! We were literally stunned when we entered the apartment. The view of the beautiful old town is indescribable! If you want to get to know Dubrovnik from its most beautiful side, this Apartman is perfect! At this point I would like to declare the previous reviews or criticism about the many steps to the old town absurd. What do some people expect here? You want to go to Dubrovnik, preferably to the old town and then you complain about the steps? In my opinion, that's just stu***. If you want to have such a view of the old town from your apartment, you have to expect that there will be steps. If you have a problem with that, you can easily book a cab: for not even 5€ (by the way: there is a large, easily accessible parking lot - so you have absolutely no problems with parking or ordering a cab). Back to my evaluation: Each room was modern and at the same time comfortably furnished. We immediately felt like we were at home. Everything war super clean and tidy. The design is luxurious, so you feel like you are a celebrity, but at the same time Diana managed to give the apartment warmth, so it doesn't feel cold or sterile. We would especially like to mention the incredibly comfortable beds. I don't know when the last time we slept so well. On top of that, you wake up and have this incredible view of the old town. Breathtaking! Another big plus: In addition to the closets, there are also two large storage rooms where we could put our suitcases, shoes, bags, but also drink bottles, etc., so they were not in the way. We were more than satisfied. Diana was always available, super friendly and helpful. The service was top! We are looking forward to coming back soon. -
