- Erpse (4/5): Ich wünsche euch mehr Glück mit der einen Mitarbeiterin - Die Zimmer und die Sauerkeit waren sehr ansprechend. Die lage ist hervorragend. Die Betten waren leider nicht besonders bequem und mein Zimmer (203) lag direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße – die Lärmemissionen waren deutlich hörbar und für mich ein klarer Minuspunkt. Etwas irritierend war zudem das Frühstückskonzept: Frühstück gibt es erst ab 07:30 Uhr – für berufstätige Gäste, die mit ihrem Zimmerpreis eigentlich auch das Frühstück bezahlen, ist das nicht gerade ideal. Besonders skurril fand ich, dass man vor 07:30 Uhr nicht einmal in den Frühstücksraum gelangt, da sich die Tür mit dem Badge exakt erst um 07:30 Uhr öffnet. Mehr „Du bist hier nur geduldet“ habe ich in einem Hotel bisher tatsächlich noch nicht erlebt. Als ich am Freitagmorgen trotzdem freundlich nachfragte, ob ich zumindest einen Kaffee bekommen könnte, wurde das mit einem recht deutlichen „Nein“ beantwortet. Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich mir da etwas mehr Gastfreundschaft erwartet. Auch die Parksituation war unglücklich: Obwohl mir telefonisch bestätigt wurde, dass ein Parkplatz frei sei, war vor Ort dann keiner verfügbar. Alles in allem wird das wohl mein letzter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gewesen sein. Ich wünsche zukünftigen Gästen dafür umso mehr Glück – und vielleicht eine Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, die Lust auf gute Laune hat.

The room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t be better. Every detail was thoughtfully handled — we’ll definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

- Sheryl (10/5): A wonderful spot; I would think anytime of year would be spectacular. - Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, great rooms. They put your name on your table when you check in; this is for both your breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is included and it a very good German selection. The dinner was not included, but it was wonderful and worth the price. Nothing!

Unsere Vespen hatten eine super Unterstellmöglichkeit. Der Wellnessbereich war Spitze ,die Massage war so was von entspannend. Essen war auch sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich. Zu meinem Geburtstag wurde unser Tisch ganz liebevoll eingedeckt. Kurz um: es war ein richtig schöner Urlaub und bestimmt nicht der letzte im Hotel Neuhäul Leider konnten wir unseren Balkon mit dem schönen Blick in den Garten erst so richtig genießen, als die Zimmernachbarn abgereist waren. Sie waren Kettenraucher.

The location was ideal as it was within minutes of hikes and attractions but also gives you a feel that you are off the beaten path. We fully took advantage of the on-site spa. Our last night there I had their house special for dinner and it was one of the best meals I had during our trip! Also super pet friendly offering a nice wooded walking path at the back of the hotel. The mattress was a little stiff for me but great for my husband. They do offer options for different pillows on request which was nice!

We (four of us - 49, 47, 15, and 13) are from Vail, Colorado and appreciate ‘mountain hospitality’. Birgit and her family (and the entire hotel staff) were so kind, helpful, and patient with us. I would go back again and would without a doubt recommend it to anybody looking to explore and experience Berchtesgaden. The location of Hotel Neuhaus (being a little outside the town center) was perfect for allowing us to explore and being off the beaten path. I regret (and am sorry for) not calling to let them know that we would be arriving late. However, Birgit (bless her heart - thank you Birgit) helped us even though we was well after dark. Next time I will call (+49 8652 9400) if I am going to be late. Sorry Birgit ;).

- Jani (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was as good as what you would expect from a Bavarian quality hotel. Traditional German, meaning excellent, breakfast with lots of fruits. This is important in a hiking trip. 8-year old especially liked the indoor pool. Food served only until 8PM, but there are other options nearby (by car).

The pool was surprise since we havent noticed it was on the hotel (hance we havent had an opportunity to use it). The rooms are outdated and quite dark. The smoke From cigarettes that other guests are smoking on the balcony comes to the room. No AC, kettel in the room. Way to much expensive in comparison to the room facilities and equipment
- Endre (10/5): Very nice hotel in a quiet surrounding - Extraordinary services and facilities, own restaurant, bar, coctails, wellness area with sauna and steam bath with resting rooms around, free tea, etc. Breakfast was plenty, and a lot to choose from, including such extras like smoked salmon and trout, freshly baked buns, etc. Location is just a few hundred meter away from the Austrian border - rather quiet surrounding, but the next bigger town Berchtesgaden is a good 10 if not 15 minutes by car. Room has minibar, extra bath towels and bathrobes are provided for the wellness/bath area. I can hardly recall anything. I could say it was a bit pricy, but hey, you definitely get something for your money.

- Eva (7/5): Great wellness area, great breakfast. - Wellness, Breakfast, comfortable beds I booked the room for 1 adult and kids ages 12 and 14. The room was a smoking one. I do not remember, this information was provided during booking. In addition, there was only a double bed in the room. The bed was comfortable, but not enough for 3 of us.
- Nakisa2 (6/5): Pleasant - The only advantage of this hotel is its swimming pool and sauna. Otherwise, it doesn't offer anything more that does worth paying this price. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant was below average. Local hotels charge less prices and offer the same quality of stay and food. We booked last minute so had to go with this hotel that has room. Otherwise, I don't see any reason to pay a high price for average quality.

- Shalvi (4/5): Disappointing - A traditional pension in which you can find good breakfast, decent rooms and courteous workers. The other side of the coin of being traditional is being old fashioned. The hotel is located in an area without cellular data reception. Moreover, from some reason there was no wifi in the hotel at least during our 4 days stay, and the hotel did not seem determined to find solutions for this problem. In 2022, a hotel without data reception is like an a hotel without electricity. Another drawback of the hotel is that it is a bit remote from the main hikes and from the town of Berchtesgaden.
