За эти деньги — просто космические условия! Минусы: · Небольшое неудобство: через нашу комнату проходили на террасу (чтобы курить или сушить вещи). Вечером это может мешать. Общее впечатление: Хостел замечательный, рекомендую. Если вам не принципиально, что мимо будут иногда проходить соседи — идеальный вариант за свои деньги.

Olga (10/5): - Hostel Leopold is located in the most convenient spot — right in the center, close to the Catholic church and just steps away from the street full of cozy cafes and lively bars. Everything is within walking distance, which makes exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. The hostel itself is incredibly cozy and has such a warm, "lampovy" atmosphere. I stayed in the spacious dorm on the second floor, and I absolutely fell in love with it — it has a beautiful balcony, a private bathroom, and a huge panoramic window that fills the room with light. It felt like a little sanctuary in the middle of the city. The hostel is very clean, and you can truly see how hard the host works to keep everything spotless and well-organized. It makes such a pleasant difference. The living room is super cozy, and the kitchen is very clean and comfortable to use. A special thank you to the host for his responsiveness, kindness, and constant help. He gave me excellent advice and recommendations about the city, which made my trip so much richer. Staying at Hostel Leopold added so much good vibe and beautiful memories to my experience of Sarajevo itself. Highly recommended! ❤️ It is so popular so it is better to book it in advance 😅🙏

Antonio (10/5): - Second time in Sarajevo, first time was in this hostel and it was great , I came back again but first 2 days there was no place so I tried other place and no comment , like Leopold there is no place AMAING CLEAN QUITE ORGANIZED , and HAROUN the owner is a really good , nice , helpful and very professional would help you in anything you want or you need in the city …. Thanks a lot and sure there will be a third time
Yuchuan (5/5): - The check-in experience was quite disappointing. According to the booking information, check-in is available until 11 PM. I arrived before 11 PM as required, but there was no staff available to open the door or assist me with the check-in. Additionally, I had clearly informed the hostel in advance via private message that I would arrive after 10 PM. However, the staff misread "PM" as "AM" and then blamed me for unclear communication, which I found unprofessional. Overall, the lack of coordination and the way the situation was handled made the experience frustrating. I hope the hostel can improve their communication and check-in process for future guests.

Linda Carol (7/5): We could walk everywhere. We wanted somewhere central. It was great! - It was a great price. It was central. It was clean and tidy. The others at the hostel were lovely and quiet. We were very lucky that we got a room for ourselves. (Probably shouldn't have booked a hostel!) The shower always had hot water. Being central it was noisy outside, but that's to be expected. There were three flights of steep stairs to walk up to reach the hostel. The bedroom was a converted attic and half of the room had very low ceilings...made it difficult to walk about in the room.
Pilar (9/5): Una gran troballa a Sarajevo - Molt net i agradable. Ubicació fantástica i en Maid va ser molt amable i em va donar molta info per gaudir de la ciutat. Una relació qualitat preu immillorable, cuina equipada, assecadors de cabell, planxa per la roba... Una gran troballa a Sarajevo! L'únic que no em va agradar, per dir algo, és aquest llit de més que han posat a l'habitació de 8. Crec que posar el llit 9 ha desequilibrat l'habitació, tot queda molt estret i atapeït. Però això té fàcil solució 😉

Abigail (8/5): Cheap, clean and cheerful hostel - Great central location close to the main attractions. Good value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. The facilities are basic but functional, clean and well kept. As per other reviews, the access to the hostel is via a shared stairwell which is not in the best condition (quite scruffy and poorly kept). I know this is not the responsibility of the hostel but it gives a slightly bad first impression (which I would encourage you to see past and this is ultimately at odds with the well kept hostel on the top floor). The hostel is also not on google maps which can make it a little harder to find. It’s a central but loud location , fine if you’re up a little later. Not sure that number of bathrooms is enough for the number of beds the hostel has. Would also be good if each bedroom had a lock on the door, as far as I could tell the 8 bed dorm I stayed in was not lockable.

ComaKameleon (9/5): Ottimo ostello in centro città - Posizione iper centrale, bagni ampi e puliti (l'ostello è ricavato all'ultimo piano e mansarda di un condominio). Staff gentile e disponibile, c'è tutto quel che serve. Durante il film festival la musica in strada è davvero alta e anche con le finestre chiuse era parecchio molesta, consiglio tappi o altri luoghi per quel periodo se volete andare a dormire presto. Il dormitorio forse è un po' sovraffollato di letti, ma devo dire che non l'ho accusata particolarmente come cosa (ovviamente su 8 letti c'è sempre un russatore).

My bed was beside the only access to the balcony so staff would always open the blinds up while I was sleeping to go smoke. Very annoying.

Karin (10/5): Amazing stay! - Had such a great stay here! Would have stayed longer but it was fully booked! It’s not like a traditional hostel, more like an Airbnb being shared between travelers. There was a shared kitchen and common space, as well as dorms. The host was always very responsive over WhatsApp and so nice in person when I met him. 100% recommend! The only thing is that is next to the “party street” so it could get a bit loud. It really didn’t bother me! But something to keep in mind! :)

Karen (9/5): Once inside, a lovely welcoming place. - Arun the host is friendly and speaks good English. He keeps the place clean but it is also up to guests to do their part. The bed is comfortable and the room had air-conditioning. The kitchen, though basic was ok for what I needed. Takeaways and small supermarkets nearby too. Very close to museums and life in the old city. Terrace upstairs has place to hang washing. Public transport walking distance. The outside does not reflect the inside. To get in there are 3 steep sets of stairs maybe 60 steps following a spiral. Take it easy in the heat with heavy luggage. Not a strong negative but only 3 toilets/showers is a problem when all beds are occupied. The bathrooms are in need of upgrade, esp compared to rest of place. But they work fine and are clean. The kitchen is functional and has most things, but best to check what is there before you plan to cook. There are plug sockets around the hostel but need to share. I did not have a problem, I could charge when I needed to . I would be happy to stay here again.

Richard (9/5): Overall a good stay - Staff was nice and guests were nice AC wasn’t that cold in the room despite having the door close. Also, I would like to note the hostel is not on google maps (very strange). Not sure why this would be the case. So to navigate, I had to manually enter the address rather than search for the hostel like I normally do. Also, no elevator to the floor of the hostel (4th floor or so).
Yanan (9/5): 位置极好的旅店 - 位置就是市中心酒吧街这里，非常好，超市、商店、餐厅、咖啡厅一应俱全，还提供洗衣服服务，不过需要付费。也可以自己买东西做饭。床太软了，酒吧街晚上有点吵。
Yordan (9/5): - The hostel is located in the old town of Sarajevo. It has a common area with a sofa, couches, chairs, and tables suitable for working or having some free time. It has a kitchen too. There are three bathrooms. Free towels. The owner is friendly and attentive. Wifi is reliable. Recommend it! To improve: I found the floor to be dusty and not clean enough.
Stefan (10/5): hostel that feels like home - location is directly in city center, host was funny and flexible, helped me with car parking, whole apartment felt like home, I loved people were taking off shoes at the door, everything was clean, I stayed only two nights but met nice people parking in front of the hostel is possible but limited. Harun helped me to park the car outside of city center which was cool. it was like 40 minutes walk maybe 15 minutes by tram. just keep this in mind if you want to come with car you should figure out what are the possibilities. for me personally it wasnt big problem

SasaTraveller (8/5): - Centralissimo a pochi passi da Bascarsija, zona piena di localini, movimentata, tutte le attrazioni sono raggiungibili a piedi raggiungibile con il bus103/107 dall aeroporto! Letti comodi, pulito. Reception non presente tutto il giorno!
