Guest Reviews
- Malaina (8/5): - It ws close to the event we had on an also alot to do around the area The communication between staff was poor as our shower didnt work an we accepted to upgrade the following morning, making it easier with 2 under 2 an the morning staff had no note of it.
- Deborah (8/5): Pretty good. - Location is fabulous and views out on the ocean and sunset if you on the west side. Had a couple of very noisy children in room next door and the room was adjacent to the lift. The property is getting tired.
- Alanna (8/5): -
- Tracey (5/5): - Location and view was fantastic. Room was tired and expensive. Parking is challenging with very small parks.
- Jeff (9/5): -
- Maurizio (8/5): A good place to enjoy Glenelg beach - The room is spacious and cosy, quiet and well equipped. Lighting is good. The location is quite good, just in the centre of Glenelg, next to the beach and the shopping mall. The breakfast is good but quite expensive.
- capone (10/5): -
- sonya (9/5): Comfortable and clean hotel close to the beach, shops and places to eat. - The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The views of the ocean were a delight.
The hotel is very close to the beach, shops and numerous places to eat. Also close to the tram stop to head into the city. Nothing.
- Vinita (10/5): -
- Katrina (7/5): Overall good - Room and bathroom clean. Bathroom shower and hot water the best I have had in a longtime. Bed very comfortable. Balcony room with perfect views of the beach. Quiet room. Hotel in a perfect location in Glenelg, the premier beachside suburb of Adelaide. Staff friendly. Overall a great experience No real coffee in room (coffee bags at least would be good), No barista coffee provided at buffet breakfast which was very unexpected and disappointing. Could have provided at least one cup of coffee. Breakfast F&B staff could be more hospitable, Rooms could do with a mini upgrade by simply changing switches and phone system.
- Jenifer (10/5): Fantastic location, amazing view from our balcony - highly recommend - The location is amazing - the view from our little balcony was fantastic We accidently went out the fire stair from the parking lot and came across a homeless persons area - very dirty - there could have been better signage on how to get in to the hotel from the car park
- Regine (10/5): -
- Ilona (10/5): We always stay here when we travel to Glenelg. Always friendly and helpful staff. - Mother had broken her leg whilst on holiday away and required a wheelchair to use for our stay, staff gave us the perfect room for space and also allowed us to use their wheelchair on the premise. They were very helpful and kind and helped us with all of our luggage. nothing
- Kim (8/5): Wonderful beach front location with easy access to amenities - Whenever I get the opportunity to stay in Adelaide I choose Glenelg and try to book ahead to get a room with an ocean view. I love watching the Glenelg foreshore activities from the room and then taking advantage of beach walks and fun along Jetty Road. It is easy to get into the city centre on the tram and the shops and restaurants close by are perfect for a short stay. The bars in the hotel and nearby can get a little noisy, but it didn't impact my stay and my room was far enough away that it didn't interrupt my sleep.
- Jupiter Australia Culture Exchange PTY LTD (9/5): -
- Hemu (1/5): Complete shit stay - I linked the location and the overall view from the room towards the ocean. There’s a big list. The key issues were as follows:
Arrival Experience
No concierge was available upon arrival to greet guests or assist with luggage.
Room Condition
The room furnishings were in poor condition. The sofa chair appeared significantly aged, with visible damage and staining to the seat, suggesting it requires replacement rather than preservation. Seems like management tried to preserve the heritage of the chairs by not changing or fixing them.
Housekeeping Standards
The towels provided had an unpleasant odour, which was not consistent with expected hygiene standards.
In-Room Amenities
No milk or sugar was stocked in the room. This was rectified only after a request to Reception.
Expired Minibar Items
Several minibar items were past their Best Before dates, including a packet of nuts and a chocolate bar which had expired in February 2026.
Complaint Handling
When I raised these matters with Reception, I received an apology and was advised that room staff would be notified. However, no follow-up or resolution was provided during my stay.
Room Service
The room service menu had very limited options for vegetarian guests.
For context, I stayed at EOS by Skycity the previous evening and found the service and facilities to be of an excellent standard.

- Barry (8/5): Great position, wonderful open sea view from balcony. Generous sized room. Easy access to Glenelg cafes, shops. - Beautiful view from balcony, spacious room. Bed comfortable, linen crisp and clean. Hallways leading to rooms needing paint, new carpets. - David (4/5): Under whelming, many competitors to choose from in Glenelg, great location brand reputation poor - The location is the best aspect of this hotel. Very run down, really needs refurbishment and an upgrade- Floor 6 especially. The rooms are dated, cracked basins, dirty tile grout, furniture stained, missing buttons, out dated re shower in the bath approach etc etc

They charged me $ 100 for bond and when I left the hotel I told them I used two of the item's from room which is paid and had my breakfast as well, there Total cost was about $44, I told them to cut from my bond and they said after deducting you will receive your remaining bond money. Views are lovely, both ocean and city views are worth the look. Place has an old charm about it. Only thing that would have been a nice addition is free parking.
- Ashleigh (2/5): Very disappointing. Room was mouldy, carpet wet and dirty and view of large air con units. - Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean but that’s where it ended unfortunately. View was Terrible staring at large air conditioning units units. Carpet was very dirty and wet by sliding door. Room smelled mouldy. Paid $30 for parking we weren’t expecting.

- Glen (8/5): Overall, our stay was enjoyable and we would certainly return again in the future - Beautiful view, peaceful room, and being on a higher level made it even better, as we were able to leave the balcony door open at night and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Of all things, the toilet seat was incredibly thin to sit on. Also, there was no toilet brush, so it would make it unpleasant for the cleaners to deal with.
