louise (7/5): Staff friendly. Location beautiful but rooms small, beds not comfortable and restaurant and bar overpriced - The location is perfect, the pool area is beautiful but no music around pool was disappointing. The breakfast was pretty standard but expensive. The cocktails at £17/18 were very overpriced. The noise from traffic was bad at times early morning. The chairs from Breakfast were very noisy being pulled in and out and could Be heard very loudly 2 floors up. This prevented as extended rest.

Clair (10/5): Highly recommend! - Everything about this hotel is spot on, even the hairdryer is not in the bathroom. Anyone with wavy hair knows the struggle with steam from the shower 😂. The room, reception, staff, facilities, food, cleanliness and the lovely little touches just made our holiday! The views from this hotel are exactly how the pictures are on their website. Oh, and the sun loungers by the pool have plush, thick cushions with neck support. For someone with back and neck issues, these were amazing 👏. We haven't tried out the spa so can't say how that is. Leaving 😂

Marietta (10/5): A great holiday in a wonderful hotel, thank you Spirit Hotel Benalmadena Beach. - We loved our room, it was comfortable ( sofa for relaxing) and spacious with plenty of room for all our things. And it had such a wonderful unrestricted view to the sea and a spacious balcony to enjoy it. We booked our stay with dinner which was excellent with plenty of choice. There were 3 fish dishes every evening, different meat dishes - some to be grilled in front of you - and a great variety of tasty vegetable dishes. Breakfast was equally of high standard. On one evening we missed dinner unexpectedly and we much appreciated the lunch vouchers we received instead. The staff was very helpful and always served us with a smile. We also appreciated the easy access to the beach from the pool area. The location of the hotel is ideal. There is no traffic between the hotel pool area and the beach, only a pleasent promenade. On the other hand, for exploring the area there was a bus stop very close to the front of the hotel. Regular buses went to lots of areas, including all the way to Malaga centre. The bus fare was always amazingly low. Just a tiny niggle. In the nice and spacious bathroom we would have appreciated a stool or built in seat and one or two lower level hooks.

La tranquillité du lieu …. Le fitness bien équipé avec vue sur la mer .. les soins et massage ( merci à la personne qui a pris soin de moi ) … l’odeur parfumée dans les couloirs … Les chambres sont très bien tenues et celle que j avais avec vue latérale sur la mer était magnifique. Il y a toujours un mot gentil et bienveillant sur le lit laissé par une employée .. Je remercie chaleureusement Vanesa et Lysia pour leur petites attentions. Le personnel est très accueillant et bienveillant avec toujours un sourire pour vous répondre … Merci à la réception pour le mot et le plat de fruit de bienvenue qui est toujours bien apprécié 😚 L’hôtel est à proximité de la promenade de Benalmadena où il fait bon de se promener et les plages sont très accessibles et les transats très confortables…. Il y une vue magnifique depuis le Rooftop il y avait juste du vent en cette période donc une veste était de rigueur ! Rien ..

Ellen (10/5): Een heerlijk hotel met een fantastisch uitzicht en een zeer vriendelijke “Spirit” - Dit hotel overtrof onze verwachtingen. Dit hotel heeft de juiste “spirit” vwb het runnen van een hotel in werkelijk alle opzichten. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Graag geef ik enkele voorbeelden: 1. De schoonmaakster vroeg toen zij toevallig bij onze kamer was of alles naar de zin was, ik vroeg haar om extra kussens, deze is ze direct gaan halen, ik zei nog het hoeft niet meteen, maar ze vond het geen enkel probleem en stond erop. Kamers waren heel schoon. 2. Het ontbijt was goed en alles aanwezig, de kok die achter de counter stond waar gerechten/eieren vers en naar wens werden bereid, wist meteen de tweede dag hoe ik mijn ei graag wilde….dat noem ik geïnteresseerd en klantvriendelijk. 3. Het uitzicht en de ligging van het hotel in 1 woord magnifiek. 4. De strandbedden heerlijk, met dikke matrassen. 5. De boulevard oplopen via een trap en strand voor de deur. Het pasje voor de kamer gebruik je tevens voor het hek richting het strand dat ‘s avonds om 22.00 gesloten wordt. Veilig dus. Natuurlijk kun je wel via de hoofdentrée naarbinnen. En dan zal ik vast nog wel wat vergeten, maar niks negatiefs te ontdekken. Dit is zoals het moet zijn en wij gaan zeker terug. En dat doen wij eigenlijk nooit. Benalmadena is een gezellig stadje, vooral bij de haven. Malaga is makkelijk met de bus te bereiken, halte voor de deur en we hebben daar ook nog veel te ontdekken. Heerlijke stad trouwens. De enige kanttekening is wellicht dat als je hier met kinderen naartoe gaat die graag van de glijbaan willen of willen spelen, dit is hier niet mogelijk, wat mijn inziens daarom de status Adult Only zou krijgen.

Michelle (10/5): Beautiful hotel, perfect location. - 3rd visit and it never disappoints. The hotel location is fantastic & the staff are always so friendly. The hotel is absolutely spotless & the rooms are so clean, bright & have wonderful views. Breakfast offers a good selection of cold & hot food choices. Sun beds are really comfortable & never had an issue getting one each day. Definitely recommend. One issue which can be easily rectified The green chairs at the pool bar are really uncomfortable & get hot in the sun to sit on. They just need cushions. I heard a few people saying this too whilst sat there. Simple seat cushions is all it needs.

Pat (9/5): Recommended - We loved the location of this hotel and that we could see the sea from the sunbathing/pool area, the dining area and from our room. (We had a Double Side Sea Sunset View room so we got the sun on our balcony from, about, 3pm which was lovely.) Our room was light, bright and modern. We didn't like that the 2 sinks were not in the bathroom but outside, just inside the door to the room. The bathroom definitely needs a shelf to put things on when you are going in the shower. Despite these things we would definitely look to stay here again.

Staff were excellent throughout and food at the pool bar very good too. Locks on the toilets were broken in same areas. Strange to have sinks in the room as you walk in on the left.
Berit (8/5): Schöner Meerblick, sehr freundliches Personal. Aber keine 10. 😉 - Das Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer war super schön. Das Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich und hat alles gemacht, um Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir durften nach einem Tag nochmal ein ruhigeres Zimmer beziehen. Der Chefkoch organisierte für mich extra Chilli. 😊 Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ging bis 11.00 Uhr. Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr stark befahrenen, lauten Straße. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, wobei das Abendessen nicht gut war, war aus meiner Sicht vergleichbar mit einem „Kantinenessen“. Unangenehm empfand ich es, dass wir mehrmals (per Mail, per Brief) aufgefordert wurden, dass Hotel mit 10 zu bewerten.

Ellos escucharon mi petición: quería tranquilidad y una habitación donde pudiera ver la puesta de sol… y así fue. Fue un detalle muy bonito y muy apreciado. Regina, de recepción, fue adorable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. El servicio en general fue excelente. Naia, la camarera, muy amable y profesional con los clientes. Y también Vanessa, del servicio de limpieza, hizo un trabajo impecable. Gracias por estas vacaciones maravillosas y por vuestra amabilidad humana. Volveré con mucho gusto. ❤️ Rien

Although the terrace had a side sea view of the beach it also had a view of the busy road at the back of the hotel. I think the only way to avoid this would be to have a front sea view.

We had booked a parking space, but when we arrived, there were no spaces available, so we had to park outside on the sloping streets nearby. However, we ended up saving €20 per night on parking, so in the end it was worth walking a little more.

Also, a nice surprise was having a plate of fruits upon arrival. The breakfast was great. the rooms on the 1st floor were very basic, the view was to the garage door. The sauna in the spa zone was unsafe - there were unisolated electric wires on the sauna stove. inside pool needed cleaning.

Hotel is very modern and clean, lots of helpful staff whenever you need them and a good pool bar serving nice food. Will certainly be coming again, highly recommend!

I was the single occupant so could manage but if holidaying with a friend it would have been totally unacceptable also did not like not being able to wash hands before leaving the bathroom after using the toilet.

Alles hat wunderbar gepasst – vom freundlichen Empfang über die Sauberkeit bis hin zur gesamten Atmosphäre. Das Hotel war sehr gepflegt, das Personal aufmerksam und herzlich und wir haben uns die ganze Zeit wohlgefühlt. Toller Meerblick! Astrid 912 (6/5): Preis-Leistung passte für uns nicht. - Die Lage direkt am Meer und an der Promenade war sehr schön. Auch der direkte Meerblick von unserem Zimmer 708 war hervorragend. Das Personal war freundlich vorallem unsere Zimmerfee war toll. Wir hatten Halbpesion und waren von den Angeboten Speisen doch eher enttäuscht. Poolbereich war auch sehr eng und überschaubar. Unser Zimmer war direkt unter der Rooftop Bar, die ab 17.00 geöffnet war und daher trotz geschlossener Terassentür war die Beschallung unangenehm.

The constant cover songs being played by the pool a bit too loud. Having to listen to some guy covering the Rolling Stones and Ed Sheeran soon gets old. Better to play some relaxing Spanish music than some unknown murdering Blue Suede Shoes.

Sindy (9/5): On y reviendra! - La propreté remarquable, le personnel vraiment aimable comme jamais je n’en ai fait l’expérience (particulièrement une dame qui travaillait au bar restaurant, des yeux bleu gris et des cheveux noirs coiffés en queue de cheval toujours à nous saluer avec un grand sourire! Et Hazneth Adam de la réception hyper gentille, serviable et efficace! On avait que le petit déjeuner inclus et vraiment on le recommande car la nourriture est super variée, il y a vraiment de tout! Délicieuses viennoiseries! Des smoothies, des oeufs cuits à la demande, du cava est même disponible… On est restés 4 nuits de la dernière semaine d’avril et le temps était mitigé donc le spa très correct et propre même si très petit était le bienvenu (c’était l’une des raisons du choix de cet hôtel) Le dernier jour nous avons pu profiter de la piscine après le Check out et prendre une douche grâce au vestiaire bien équipé, et ça c’est fort agréable. Vraiment rien de négatif. Continuez comme cela surtout!

Jeg fik værelse 601 med sidekig til hav. Værelset lå lige ud til et lyskryds, så både udsigt og støj fra gaden gjorde, at ophold på altanen var forfærdelig. Flere af aftenerne var buffeten direkte frastødende. Med så gode råvarer, så var det opsigtsvækkende, at maden fremstod så utiltagende
John (9/5): - Thus is a very well maintained hotel, lovely relaxation/jacuzzi area. Food is of a very high standard. Location is excellent only a short 5 or 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Visited at Easter time and weather was a little chilly, but the hotel has no control over the weather.
Liisa (9/5): Nice! - We were staying at the apartment by the beach which was super nice. Although, if you need some peace and quiet then might not be the place for you (right on the promenade where people are walking until late). The indoor pool was nice and warm. Super helpful and friendly staff. Nice entertainment and rooftop bar. Breakfast was good but no variety. For our taste the food in the pool bar was nothing special. Some places in the hotel need some refreshment.
