Guest Reviews
- Maria Carmen (10/5): - I loved the family running this business. The location and food! I am very allergic to bites and the insects from the island loved me. I was not prepared for showering with cold water
- Tessa (10/5): - One of my favourite places I’ve stayed at! I e had such a great time! It’s like heaven !!
- Li (10/5): 完美 - 真正的家庭式的Fiji文化体验,食物很好很好吃。如果你去那里,一定要在日落和日出时登上山顶,梦幻一般的体验。 刚睡觉时会有点热
- Deborah (7/5): -
- Solomon (6/5): -
- Geza Attila (10/5): -
- Aira (10/5): Wholesome - Rustic, back to basics, restful Mosquitos but managed with bug spray
- Yannick Damian (1/5): Friendly staff, but unfortunately the operators are running an organized scam targeting tourists. Because of that, only - The staff was super friendly and helpful. ATTENTION!
Unfortunately, this is a clever scheme to lure people in. The price on booking.com does not match the final total price, which must always be paid in cash.
Meals at the accommodation are mandatory to book, but this is not stated upfront, in order to attract guests with an appealingly low price.
The boat transfer recommended by the accommodation is also not independent, they work together.
I had already purchased my own food in advance and wanted to bring it with me.
When I was then told by the supposed boss of the boat company that I could only get on the boat (which had already been paid for 260 FJD) if I agreed to pay for the meals, it became clear that he was working with the accommodation and that they are running a joint scam to rip off tourists.
Really unfortunate, especially because the staff was so nice.
- Josiah (8/5): Legends, I miss it already - Very welcoming and kind but that is because of the Fijian people. They made you feel at home and continued to have activities and events such as fire dancing and kava. Also the island helps you relax as if you get it before survivor is booked you are free to roam as you please. It may be run down but you soon get used to it. Compared to what the locals have to live in it is luxury in comparison.
- Silvia (5/5): Meritevole - Posto incantevole Spesso mancava l' acqua in bagno e la luce durante il giorno
Alloggio molto spartano
- Shana (8/5): Very good -
- Yotam (10/5): Exceptional - The crew is amazing, bulala
- Txomin (3/5): Poor - The staff members were amazing. Very attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to make up for the island being closed for Survivor. They offer boat tours to see sunrises and sunsets, even if you can't see the island. The people and children are lovely. You'll feel right at home. We had booked and didn't know that we were required to take meals (50 Tala per person per day). We also didn't know that the island was completely closed and that we were going to be confined on a 200m long okage... learning all this when arriving on the island is a bit of a cold shower.. the boss is a very very bad person. the inaccessible beaches are so crazy. Find out about the filming dates of survivor (6 months a year). It's the island where all the games are held so the show wants no one to see them.
- Manon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cesar (6/5): Cheap place, but nothing special. Friendly staff. - Affordable Food was subpar - place is in front of the ocean, and we had sausage for lunch one day - with plenty of fish to be caught and cooked. Also, not a lot of food is provided.
It is a homestay/backpackers, so expectations are low, but the lack of hot water is, to me, a limitation.
- Kimberly (10/5): Probably one of the best weeks I’ve had in such a long time during my stay at Mana. Not only was the place/location - In such a lovely area of Fiji, many activities can be done, gorgeous views and the perfect place to relax on your vacation. It was a shame most of the island couldn’t be accessed because of it being shut off due to the filming of survivors but if you plan to go at just the prefect time you could be able to avoid that! :)
- Andrew (7/5): We had a great time. - We had a great time at Manna Lagoon. The food was great and the staff amazing. great budget holiday.
- Juliette (7/5): amazing - the people beds
- Stephen (3/5): Great location, poor rooms - Great positioning on the beach. Rooms are in need of a serious revamp. Listen very carefully at the introduction as the price will change at their convenience.
