- Melissa (10/5): Great location and base to explore Florence for a couple days. Covers all the basics - The host is very nice and was accommodating to us having to change our time of arrival a few times. She also gave us a map and told us some activities to do in Florence. The B&B was bigger than expected, there is a downstairs with couch and kitchen, then upstairs 2 single beds and bathroom. The stairs could be hard for people will mobility issues, but we didn't have any issues. Great walking location to everywhere and felt safe. Everything was great. No complaints. Thank you and we would stay here again!

E poi si ha il coraggio di far pagare 100€ a notte, vergognoso! Per non parlare della cucina (senza che alcun ospite l’avesse utilizzata - nessuno evidentemente ne ha avuto il coraggio viste le condizioni) e di tutti gli arredi e accessori come anche l’estintore tutto pieno di polvere, una casa abbandonata a se stessa

The rate is overpriced.

- Emanuele (7/5): - Posizione centrale nel bellissimo e vitale borgo di Sant’Ambrogio . L’alloggio è molto silenzioso, e non è cosa da poco a Firenze …, poiché è ubicato all’interno di un cortile. Alloggio scarno ma attrezzato con un angolo cottura per un breve soggiorno . Spazioso e pulito Estrema umidità dovuta al fatto che la struttura è senza finestre , al di fuori della porta di accesso , ed è al piano terra . Probabilmente si tratta di un magazzino ristrutturato e trasformato in mini alloggio . L’umidità si percepisce anche tra le lenzuola e sul pavimento , dove sono presenti aree di condensa molto sgradevoli se si cammina scalzi.

- Ale (5/5): Passable - The location is amazing, specially if you want to be out of the chaos of the historic center. It takes about a 15-20 minute walk to reach the center from the B&B. Also, the neighborhood is full of restaurants, specialty coffee bars, and pubs, mostly frequented by locals. The monolocale (studio flat) was very humid with damp walls. The worst part is the bathroom as it's the most secluded area, with poor ventilation and drainage (it stank). There's only two small windows in the flat and not much air circulates around. The air conditioner in the room was of no help. If you suffer from allergies, don't stay here.

- Alexander (9/5): Good place! - Da Giosuè Affittacamere is located in an area with many entertainment venues. There is Wi-Fi. The room has air conditioning, TV, bathroom. There are kitchen appliances, tea / coffee making facilities. Within a 5-minute walk you will find many gastronomic offers offered by the restaurants Pasticceria Dolci e Dolcezze, i Dolci e Dolcezze. Close to the apartment there are 3 (!) cafes and opposite is an inexpensive supermarket Carrefour. For those who observe kosher - the supermarket has kosher products in specially separated shelves and a refrigerator. The distance from the apartment to the church and the Orsanmichele Museum is 750 meters. The historic center of Florence is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria are a 15-minute walk from the apartment. The D'Azeglio bus stop is only 400 m away. The hostess was very kind. The heating worked in a strange mode, independent of our wishes. The boiler also turned on in a strange mode, so there was not always hot water.
- Irina (1/5): The biggest scam of our lives - Aida, the kind and lovely woman who welcomed us. Unfortunately, she only works for the unscrupulous owners and cannot resolve any issues, though she will sympathize with you. Misleading Photos and Description The photos shown on the listing are decades old and a mix from various properties owned by this family. Based on these images and the description provided in our booking confirmation, we expected a cozy and comfortable room with essential amenities, including some kitchen facilities. This could not have been further from the truth. Reality vs. Expectation We arrived at what can only be described as a dilapidated shack — a series of poorly maintained rooms with shared kitchen facilities that have seen better decades. The furniture was covered in layers of dust, with dried food remnants still clinging to the stove. The only table in the shared kitchen was covered with a torn, dirty plastic tablecloth. The refrigerator, stove, and washing machine were filthy and barely functional. In our private room, we found only two beds, two chairs, a tiny table, and a collection of mismatched hangers. That’s it. There were no promised amenities like air conditioning, a coffee machine, or even a television in shared zone (if that TV still functions at all, it must have been 10 years ago). The placement of the outlets is directly above your head, and all these magnetic and electrical waves pass through your head (dangerous? healthy?). The level of cleanliness was appalling. Cockroache the size of your palm shared the room with us, which was more “company” than we ever wanted. We stayed during New Year’s and were told there was heating, but it was only provided for 11 hours a day. In a drafty, unrenovated shack like this, the cold quickly crept back in. The property owners are just as dishonest as their listing. When we raised our complaints, their responses were dismissive and evasive, much like the state of the accommodations they provide. Final Thoughts We paid €430 for three nights in filth, surrounded by cockroaches, lies, and broken promises.

Small restaurants. Was a good size for three persons. A well equipped kitchen. Building/Apartment very humid with all the rain. Towels, clothing remained damp or wet. - Ranue (9/5): Good location, good apartment and good value for money. - Near Centre. Good size for 2 people and have everything we needed. Could be a little bit loud at night.
