• SELEN (10/5): Great location, boutique hotel with a bougie feel in a vibrant central location. - Location, booked by chance but happened to be on a really vibrant strip which was great, 12 mins from l’antica di Michelle (win), they were really easy going in terms of check in left us a key, room was very nice. Netflix on the TV which again is always a plus. Really cool boutique hotel - great decor lovely little balcony. Nothing, but there’s a lot of stairs so it you aren’t great with stairs opt for a lower floor room.
• Guest (1/5): We left after 1 night. It was dangerous for us in the apartment. The steps were black and very low - Location Most things. We would like our money back for 2 nights. Did not stay there the 19th and 20th. Left after one night.

It felt like sleeping directly on the mattress springs. The bathroom didn't have a door so there was zero privacy. The AC unit was missing the remote so we couldn't change the temperature.

• Erin (3/5): - Beautiful rooms with charm and clean. Staff was responsive. Air conditioning was non-existent. Just a small unit for a lofted 2 floor room and it was constantly hot and uncomfortable. It was if there was no A/C at all which made it horrid to sleep and very stuffy. Also rooms are up many, many stairs with no elevator. This should have been stated as it would be impossible for some people to get their luggage up them. My parents would not have been able to of we were not with. This wasn't disclosed anywhere. Also the outside noise is loud especially for rooms on the street side. And no doors on any of the bathrooms, not even a curtain. There is zero privacy. Very inconvenient when sharing a 2 BR unit.

• Donna (7/5): Brilliant location and very good hosts but not having a door on the bathroom is a big issue - Brilliant location on a busy street with lots of places to eat and drink. Both the bus station and train station are a 15-20 minutes walk so very easy to get everywhere from this location The staff are very helpful and communication was brilliant, we arrived late at night but had no issues getting in, the instructions they sent were clear. We had an issue with not having any bedding for the sofa bed but this was resolved promptly the next morning. They also checked we had arrived ok which is lovely. There is no door on the bathroom! I think it would have been very important to mention this as we wouldn’t have booked had we known. It has a sparse bead curtain instead so you can see, hear and smell everything that goes on in the toilet. There is also a partial glass floor in the area outside of the bathroom so even downstairs sat on the sofa you can see straight into the bathroom and see them on the toilet. Very dark, it has no natural light coming in at all which is disappointing when you are visiting a sunny country and want to look out, the lighting inside was also very poor particularly upstairs, I had to resort to using my torch on my phone at one point to look for something.

• Marek (9/5): Great Location in the art of Centro Storico. - Fantastic property, right in the heart of Centro Storico, full of life! Loved the Lolina espresso coffee machine. The arty/moody style of our room, within this historic building, combined well in an old meets new aesthetic. Nice to have a small balcony as well. The security was very good. Oh the stairs! Three flights was just too much! We traveled with 19kg of luggage each and getting our luggage up and down the stairs was very hard!

• Adela (8/5): The street had a festive atmosphere. - The location was perfect, in the heart of the historic district. The stairs on the 3rd floor seemed like six floors. Climbing them was difficult for a 78 year old woman.

• Joanna (10/5): Great Napoli Experience - The property is located in the heart of fun, food and action of Napoli. If you want to experience the life of Napoli you need to stay at this location. You will see the life from morning to morning of how this town lives. The apartment is small and cozy yet big enough for two to freely enjoy it. Love the espresso machine, enjoyed it looking down on street from the tiny balcony filled with beautiful greenery.

However the steep stairs were difficult to lug my bag up and we were on the top floor!! So many stairs. The septic smell at night was awful especially as there is no wall between the toilet and sink and bedroom. It made me feel sick.

• Adrian (6/5): If I return to Naples I will seek other accommodation - The staff was available, for my first visit to Naples the location seemed decent. Very disappointed in my choice of accommodation in Naples. The photos sold me a “modern” experience. However my apt had no daylight, none! Or access to fresh air. It felt like a cell. And the interior noise coming from other guests units, was to me extremely high. You could clearly hear other conversations.. etc etc. That’s not modern.

The stairs are quite steep to the apartment but luckily we weren’t on the 3rd floor. We really didn’t like not having a door to the bathroom. An open bathroom where the toilet was isn’t for us, and affected how we felt about the accommodation and our stay.

Taxis don't drive down the street which was a big problem for us at midnight. No door or roof on bathroom. Bathroom suite chipped. Balcony not as described: no seating and a pile of bamboo fencing. Safe didn't work. Could hear other people in other rooms. The location was incredibly noisy with window open and too hot with window closed. We felt so uncomfortable we left after the first night.

We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stylish, well-located stay and would gladly return again. There really wasn't anything that we didn't like the team at Palazzo Residenza Madre by Dimorra go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied in every possible way.

Good directions and instructions for getting to, and into apartment. Good communication from staff on text although didn't see them. Lots of steps up to apartment not mentioned in details. Bathroom with no door. Not sound proof - could hear neighbours talking and coughing all night. Coffee maker - no instructions and very messy. Not enough tea bags! And no cutlery.. only one spoon to stir drinks with. Description said balcony with city views ...somewhat misleading...too small to actually use and view into houses opposite.

Excellent communication from hosts regarding late check-in, directions and access to building.. Steep stairs are not ideal for carrying up luggage, noise can be heard from neighbouring room. The bathroom is not fully enclosed so no privacy from a sound perspective if you are sharing.

• Kate (8/5): Long weekend in Naples. - Location was fantastic. In the midst of the historic town. A step outside and you're in the bustle of restaurants, bars and atmosphere. Room decor. Stylish. Lots of steps. Tiring with suitcases when you first arrived.

La struttura molto pulita e le istruzioni per accedervi sono state semplici da seguire. Lo staff molto gentile e pronti nel gestire eventuali richieste.

• Laura (7/5): Perfect location but beware of the room you book - The location was perfect, straight out into the middle of the old town. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. The communication with the staff was through WhatsApp (we never saw any staff throughout our stay) but they were very responsive with all the queries we had. We had room 303 and there were no windows that you could see out of. There were tilt windows that only opened slightly and they were frosted so you couldn’t even tell if it was light or dark outside. I didn’t expect a view but I also didn’t expect a 2nd floor room to feel like a basement especially when it was advertised as a deluxe suite.

• Aikaterini (4/5): Ανοιχτή τουαλέτα χωρίς πόρτα και χωρίς οροφή ….. - Το κατάλυμα είναι σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο ,έχει μοντέρνα διακόσμηση και το προσωπικό είναι πολύ εξυπηρετικό Είναι ανεπίτρεπτο να υπάρχει ανοιχτή τουαλέτα που δεν έχει ούτε πόρτα ούτε οροφή και να επικοινωνεί πλήρως με το δωμάτιο όλοι οι θόρυβοι και όλες οι οσμές φουλ στο δωμάτιο χωρίς καμμία ιδιωτικότητα, επίσης το βράδυ έχει αρκετό θόρυβο καθώς και πάρα πολλές σκάλες το κτήριο χωρίς ασανσέρ ….

• Daniela (2/5): - Esperienza molto deludente. I servizi indicati nell’annuncio non corrispondono alla realtà: non c’erano pantofole, né set da bagno, né servizi di streaming funzionanti. Il balconcino, inoltre, ci è stato riferito dalla ragazza che ci ha fatto il check-in, che non era accessibile (informazione del tutto sbagliata). Abbiamo inoltre segnalato che Netflix non funzionava e ci è stato risposto che lo avrebbero ripristinato il giorno dopo, ma noi avevamo il check-out la mattina stessa, quindi impossibile usufruirne. Pubblicizzare servizi inesistenti è scorretto e fuorviante: totale disapprovazione per l’ospitalità ricevuta.

• Mark (8/5): Great location enjoyed the atmosphere. - Location was excellent and staff extremely helpful. No natural light and the decor was dark in the bathroom. We found the bed slightly uncomfortable.

• Teresa (7/5): Carino ma da migliorare - La posizione centrale , ottima per raggiungere i luoghi più caratteristici della città. Le stanze di per sé sono carine , con un bell'arredo a mio gusto, ma necessitano di più cura e attenzione. Altrimenti anche il bello, se trascurato, si trasforma in brutto e non piacevole. La mancanza della porta del bagno, necessaria, garantirebbe più confort e privacy. Polvere: tanta, troppa, ovunque. L'arredo nero è molto fine ed elegante , ma necessita di accortezze ed attenzioni maggiori (che comunque dovrebbero essere garantite a prescindere). La polvere era davvero ovunque , persino sulle tazze che avrebbero dovuto essere utilizzate per il the/caffè , sulla testata del letto , termosifoni, nel bagno.
