• McGowan (9/5): - Great location next to the water and near a beautiful dam/waterfall. Very close to the supermarket and bus stop, from where you can easily get to the town. The owner family is very sweet and the staff in general was super friendly 💕 Enough toilets, and showers and the cleanliness was immaculate and the place was really spotless. The outdoor areas are very nice including the hostel cafe/bar. I can recommend this place and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived! Only minus the squeaky beds, but otherwise I definitely enjoyed my stay!
• Gautier (5/5): Ambiance de bar cool à côté mais inondations et autres problèmes - L'ambiance du bar à proximité et le food-truck de pizza Il y avait une inondation dans la douche des hommes (y compris le couloir), un robinet coulait 24h/24, et j'ai dû me doucher 2 fois a l'eau froide car plus d'eau chaude... La vieille ville de Dubrovnik est a 2h30 de marche à pied ou 30mn en bus, les sentiers pour aller à Dubrovnik sont rock'n'roll et pas adaptés pour des randonneurs. Je déconseille cet établissement, optez pour une auberge directement près de la vielle ville quitte a payer un peu plus cher

• Johan (7/5): Très loin de old town, moins cher - Accueil sympa et des activités proposées. Un bar au pied de l auberge et un stand de burger pour ceux qui ont faim. Emplacement original en soit car en dehors de Dubrovnik meme. Le prix ok au vu des prix exorbitants de old town. L'emplacement est original mais... Vraiment loin !! Hostel Dubrovnik center... Pas du tout !! C'est a 2h15 a pied de old town et compter 45min pour aller a old town (le temps de marcher a l'arrêt de bus, l'attendre 5-10min) et 2,5 le ticket de bus abusé. Mais ya des réducs a priori aux guichets. Les lits sont les plus grinçants de toute ma vie, tu bouges un bras tu réveilles tout le monde. Même si il est bien confortable quand même. Clim bruyante , pas de rideau (ça je m'en fiche mais les chochottes post-covid détestent ahah) Et enfin.. la douche que j'ai prise n'avais aucun debit en eau chaude donc je me suis juste lavé les cheveux a l'eau froide malheureusement .

• Trang (5/5): - I will try my best to gather all the positive things about the place: - the receptionist guy was friendly, gave me some recommendations of what to do near the hostel and bus info etc. - i like the spring/waterfall thing 200m away from the hostel - it was relatively clean - the cat was cute - i met really cool people there, we had a great time chatting - it was quiet at night I mean this wholeheartedly, that there are so many improvements needed for the hostel, I really appreciate the fact that it's the cheapest hostel we can find in Dubrovnik, a notoriously expensive destination, but there are just so many little things that can be done to make the stay way more enjoyable - Biggest problem for me was the check in and check out time, what could possibly be happening between 10am and 5pm that no one can check in during that time? Cleaning the whole place must take like 2 hours tops - No kitchen, okay, i have never been to a hostel without a kitchen before and sure enough they didn't say anything about having a kitchen in their listing, but it's such an expected thing for a hostel to have to be absolutely fair. They say they don't have a license for a kitchen, but they do have sockets and it's entirely possible to get an air fryer or a plug-in pot, or maybe a microwave would be nice, i'm pretty sure it's a one-time investment and wouldn't cost a fortune. Or maybe just include a big picture saying "NO KITCHEN" in the listing so people would know - Unisex bathroom and unlocked rooms, this was just a bit scary for the women - Very thin blanket, I didn't notice and the room was freezing, good thing i only stay for one night I think that's it, that's just what on top of my head. I don't have any ill will, I just think for the price it could be much better

• Lucie (5/5): - Les dortoirs sont grands et propres. Des casiers sont à disposition et le lieu est mignon quand on quitte la grande route. Les montants de lit sont faits dans un métal qui grince horriblement, impossible de dormir correctement. Le moindre mouvement de soi ou des autres réveille toute la salle, défaut majeur pour un grand dortoir..

Les sanitaires sont exiguës et peu pratiques mais assez propres. Les chambres sont correctes, sauf si vous tombez sur le lit proche des casiers : dur de dormir quand chacun passe prendre ses affaires...
• Jacopo (10/5): - - the hostel is in a very beautiful and quite area outside of dubrovnik - rooms are big for the number of the beds, compared to other hostels I've been in the past - nice staff - easy access to everything Despite the name of the hostel, it's not in dubrovnik center but 5/6km outside of dubrovnik. Btw there are buses every 10 minutes which you can use to reach the old town in about 20 minutes (price of the bus is 2.5€ per way, or 5,32€ daily ticket to buy at reception, which you can use for 24h after first validation).
• Annissa Hazley (7/5): - Beautiful location out in the rural, shops around for groceries, beautiful lake etc. There is plenty of toilet and shower facilities. Very noisy beds especially in a room of about 20 beds, if you are a light sleeper maybe request a smaller room but nothing I couldn’t manage with putting my earphones in. Location isn’t central but easy buses to town.

Nur ein überfüllter Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und ein wenig Besteck. ~ Am Bett keine Lampe oder Steckdose

• Jumeaucourt (1/5): À fuir : 114 € pour deux nuits entassés à 16, matelas bruyants, douches froides et tout payant après le check-out. - Plutot propre À fuir absolument. J’ai rarement vu une auberge aussi indigne. Nous étions 16 entassés dans une chambre, sur des matelas à ressorts qui grincent au moindre mouvement. Impossible de dormir correctement. Côté sanitaires : pas d’eau chaude, une pression d’eau ridicule même quand on est seul sous la douche, et seulement 5 douches dont une hors service… pour tout le monde. Inacceptable pour une auberge censée accueillir autant de voyageurs. Le pire : tout est facturé en supplément. Après le check-out, il faut payer 3 € pour aller aux toilettes et 4 € pour prendre une douche. Du jamais vu. Le tout pour 114 € les 2 nuits en pleine saison : une arnaque totale. Il existe des auberges bien meilleures, moins chères et plus respectueuses des voyageurs. Celle-ci mérite clairement d’être évitée.

First of all the check-in time of 5 PM is in itself very late even for a budget hostel, in spite of that there was no one at the check-in counter even some time after 5 PM. The hostel does not accept card payments which is absurd in 2025, so we had to go get cash from the ATM and then again there was no one at the counter, after check-in formalities we were just handed the keys without telling where our rooms are and we struggled as there was another entrance for our rooms. A lot of time was wasted which made us change our plans and we were disappointed with the service.

• Rick (6/5): Mooie stad, door de hoge prijzen naar dit hostel gekomen. - De ruimte in de kamers, hoeveelheid douches en toiletten. Hele late in-check... 17;00 uur is echt te laat. 5eu/pp betalen voor het eerder inchecken en achterlaten bagage is echt slecht. Daarnaast de volgende dag weer 5eu/pp vragen voor achterlaten bagage. Totaal niet service gericht en klantvriendelijk. Laat ik hierbij vermelden, dat een beetje herrie schoppen om deze prijzen, wel kan werken.

Ho dovuto raggiungere un ATM per prelevare appositamente (con conseguenti 4,95 € di sovrapprezzo) - assurdo nel 2025. 2. Nessuna disponibilità di sapone, shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Per soggiornare una notte jo dovuto acquistare questi prodotti che ho dovuto lasciare in vista della partenza in aereo. (Altri soldi spesi ed altro tempo perso) 3. Letti a castello vecchi e rumorosi. Basta il movimento di un compagno di stanza per disturbare gli altri inquilini con il cigolio. 4. Capisco che il prezzo sia stato basso, ma non è una struttura esteticamente accogliente

• Clàudia (4/5): Gestió caòtica - La ubicació al costat del llac. L'allotjament no té res a veure amb les fotos. Hostel amb infrastructures molt millorables. Els llits feien força soroll i les lliteres es mouen. Els hostes fan molt de soroll per la nit i no hi ha cap tipus de control sobre el respecte de les normes bàsiques de convivència. El personal, tret d'una noia, poc atent, responent amb evasives. A més de tot el que s'ha explicat, no permeten pagar en tarjeta quan a la reserva posa tot el contrari. Vam estar-hi dos cops. La primera nit, vam estar molt malament i vam voler cancel•lar les nits que teníem reservades 7 dies després de fer la ruta per Croàcia per tal d'acabar-la a Dubrovnik. Ens van denegar la petició i aquest cop ens realitzar el càrrec a la targeta per anticipat, fet que ens va fer sentir estafades, ja que en principi no s'acceptava. Per acabar-ho d'adobar, ens van fer el càrrec dues vegades, i per la dificultat de comunicació amb el personal, ens va costar de solucionar i va ser un tema que ens va angoixar bastant. Finalment, una noia va ser la que ens va ajudar. L'última nit que vam fer en el hostel va millorar, ja que vam demanar que ens posaren a una habitació amb menys llits i, per tant, vam descansar una mica millor. De totes maneres, no el recomano gens, ens va semblar molt car.

• Trinidad (6/5): - La pieza era amplia y baños limpios. Si bien la ubicacion es lejos hay micros que salen muy cerca directo al centro. Era lejos de la ciudad amurallada, como a 2 hrs para irse caminando. No tenia cocina, es un hostal, deberia tener.

• Zuzanna (7/5): - That was a good stay, everything was clean, ready before you come and comfortable. It’s a bit far from the center but you have a good public transport that works great. There’s a shop nearby. Owners are ready to help you, lots of nice travelers and great, open minded atmosphere. It’s just my feeling, I understand that Dubrovnik is expensive and still it’s the cheapest hostel in a town but it would be lovely to have an option of free luggage storage. But it’s just my feeling that it would be nice to have this 5 euros in your pocket since it’s already expensive.

• Schluenat (2/5): Besser am Strand zu übernachten als in diesem Hostel - Gefallen hat mir in diesem Hostel nur zwei Sachen: jeder hat eine Schließbox direkt neben dem Bett bekommen und dazu noch einen Schlüssel. Und es gibt genügend Parkplätze auf der Straße direkt vom Hostel. Ansonsten war es eine pure Enttäuschung. Und habe schon einige Hostels erlebt. Dieses war definitiv eins der schlechtesten :-( Die Lage ist wirklich weit vom Zentrum, wir waren mit dem Auto da, sonst würde ich nicht wissen, wie man in die Stadt kommt. Als Hotel kann man diese Unterkunft nicht bezeichnen, eigentlich hat diese nicht mal den Begriff "Hostel" verdient. Es ist so eine Art große Halle, die zur einigen Schlafsälen umgewandelt wurde. In unserem gemischten Raum waren 10-12 Etagenbetten. Privatsphäre null, die Betten sind aus Metall und quietschen bei jedem Umdrehen, und das 20-24 Mal im Zimmer! Es gab kein privates Licht, keine private Steckdose. Fürs Handy-Aufladen lag im Raum eine mehrfache Steckdosenleiste (eine für alle). Als Neuankömmling bekommt man einen bereits bezogenes Kissen, eine Stück Stoff als Decke und ein Handtuch, das Bett ist bereits mit dem Bettlacken bezogen. Ich wollte dabei glauben, dass es frisch bezogen war, aber man weiß ja nicht ;-) Für Mädels gab es 3 Duschen, aber eine Menge Toiletten und Spiegeln. Alles in einem sehr schäbigen Zustand, allerdings nicht super dreckig. Mit der Ablage war es schwierig: kaum Platz, um die Sachen während des Duschvorgangs irgendwo abzulegen. Irgendwelche kleine Regale standen zwar da, aber diese haben mehr gewackelt und waren so schmutzig, dass man diese nicht mal beruhen wollte. Normalerweise kenne ich Hostels, dass man morgens wenigsten einen Kaffee bekommt, hier gab es nichts. Die Küche und der Kühlschrank waren in einem sehr schäbigem Zustand. Die Küche hatte nichts: keine Tassen, keine Teller, niente! Die Bar im oder neben dem Hostel ist auch nicht viel besser, aber mit sehr üppigen Preisen. Hätte das Hostel 10 € /Nacht gekostet, hätte ich gesagt, okay, aber es hat 25 € /p.P gekostet und das ist definitiv viel zu viel für diese Unterkunft. Finger weg von dieser Unterkunft!
