- Laura (5/5): It’s what you’d expect… - Great location, host was reachable, attentive and proactive with guidance on how to get into the property. You can tell they care! :) There’s nothing wrong with the furniture or interior, and it’s a functional space. There’s a fan for air circulation, so some thought put in. I understand this is a shared space but the carpet on the stairs on entering, and the feel of the property, is “well-used” 😬. Here is my genuine advice to elevate this place with minimal cost: - use recently-washed bedsheets. It smelt like the material had been sat there for a while. It kind of makes you a bit nervous…about whether they have been washed. Plus the smell of fresh detergent will help to reduce the musty smell of the building - A reasonable reed diffuser and opening some windows shortly before guests arrive just allows the air to flow - it was super hot in there. - ensure there’s enough bleach in the bathroom so that guests can clean the toilet if other residents have left skid marks in the bowl. At least if you can’t control the guests, you can allow people to make their own space clean :) - a bit of disinfectant spray on the floor wouldn’t hurt just to have that fresh smell when you walk in.
